Chapter 3.

The next morning Taru was still sound asleep. The curtains on his window were closed as he slept. Then his alarm clock had started ringing and Taru woke up and turned it off as he saw that the time said 7:00 Am. He then he sat up out of his bed and he started stretching. Then he picked up his slippers that were under his bed and put them on his feet.

Taru then walked over to the window and pulled back the curtains as he opened the window and let the breeze in as he smiled and breathed in and out. He then closed the window again to not let too much of a draft in.

Taru then said to himself as he saw the sun that was high up in the air and a partly cloudy clear sky "It sure does seem like a beautiful day outside today. I wonder how Mint and the others are doing today."

He then goes to his desk where his computer is and sits in his chair and he turns the computer on. He then thinks "Mint texted me last night before I went to bed that she had sent me an email. Now's a good time to read it."

He opens up his emails and. Taru looks through them and he then and he then sees and opens up Mint's email and smiles as he always does when he reads her emails to him and this particular email says "Hey Taru I have something to show you at the Cafe Mew Mew as soon as you can it's not open for business today but me and the others will be there to open the door for you. Come whenever you can and don't tell anyone. I'm sending you this as I know that I can trust you with anything and everything."

Taru started to think about what Mint might want to show him. He gets up and goes to his closet and lays out the clothes that he is going to wear today. He then hears a maid calls by knocking on the door and she says "Master Taru sir your breakfast is ready."

Taru smiles at the door and recognized the voice of one of the maids as Karue's voice. Taru said with a smile "Thank you Karue. I will be out in a few minutes after I get dressed up first."

Taru then removes his pajama top and slippers and pants. He then puts on his button up collared shirt and his jeans and puts the belt on and tucks in his shirt and puts on his socks and shoes. He then looks at himself in the mirror to see how he looks and he smiles.

He then walks to his door and opens it and closes it. He then walks down the hallway and is thinking to himself what his breakfast will be this morning. His mind was also on what the secret was that Mint wanted to tell him.

He was thinking to himself as he was walking down the hall "I wonder what Mint's secret could possibly be? I will make sure that I go to Cafe Mew Mew as soon as possible to find out. It will have to be shortly after my piano lesson though."

He then went down another hallway and soon saw the staircase which led to the foyer. As he walked he remembered when he first invited Mint to come over to his home. She was so happy to be there and Taru and Mint had alot of fun together. Taru smiles at this memory as he keeps walking and thinks to himself "That was a nice visit. I love having Mint come over she's such a wonderful kind and cute girl."

He then went down the stairs and through the foyer where he then made it to the dining room. He went over to his chair and saw his breakfast on a plate it was a ham, cheese and vegetable omelet and two slices of rye toast with butter and jam and hash browns and a glass of orange juice with a pitcher.

Taru also noticed that all the servants weren't in the dining room. Taru shrugged as he was used to them leaving him to eat by himself.

They had always tried to give him peace at times such as eating. It's not like they had any resentment for him as they truly didn't have any at all. They just assumed that he liked doing things on his own. Taru picked up his knife and put his fork in a piece of his omelet as he cut it with his knife.

Taru then lifted up the piece with his fork as he took a bite of the omelet. He smiled as he chewed it and then swallowed. Soon he had finished his breakfast and has completely cleaned his plate and had two glasses of juice. Just then Karue comes by and she's smiling as she looks at Taru and says "Did you enjoy your breakfast Master Taru sir?"

Taru said "Yes I did. Tell the chef that it was excellent as usual."

Karue smiles and nods "I'll be sure to tell him that."

She then takes the dirty dishes away. Taru then gets up and goes to a door at the back part of the mansion. He enters through the door as it leads to the backyard. The backyard is very large and wide and is protected by a big grey stone wall. Taru then saw several bushes of flowers and Taru walked towards one of them. He sees that it has tulips on it and he remembers how Mint loved it when he last got her a tulip.

He smiles and says aloud "I bet Mint will love this flower."

He then picks it and sniffs it. When he goes back inside of the mansion he sees the chauffeur. Taru smiled and greeted him "Hello Charles."

Charles said "Master Taru where are you off to sir?"

Taru said "Cafe Mew Mew."

Charles said "Ah.. Would you like me to drive you there sir?"

Taru shook his head "No thank you Charles. It's not really that far away and besides I like walking there myself and besides I will be staying for awhile possibly and hanging out with Mint and the others too."

Charles says "Thank you for the consideration sir and as you wish sir. I hope you enjoy yourself today."

Taru nods and smiles "I'm sure I will. See you later."

Charles waves as Taru goes out the front door and the automatic gates open. Taru walks through the gates that automatically close behind him as he walks out of them. He then starts to make his way towards Cafe Mew Mew. He was smiling as he was wondering what the secret was that Mint wanted to tell him.

However someone was watching from far up above. Taru was completely unaware of it as he was currently under observation from a pink and purple spaceship from space. The man in the spaceship who was watching Taru was none other then Omelet.

Omelet was smirking as he was watching Taru and he said "Well, well, well isn't this just so nice and sweet and cozy. The little boy is heading to meet up with his girlfriend and those little girls and the effeminate aliens and those two puerile human boys. And that wretched Blue Knight too of course who goes by Masaya in his normal identity."

He then strokes his chin with his finger and says "Maybe I'll have some fun with this cute little boy. By sending in one of my "pets" To go and play with him. Maybe it will even attract those goody goody Mew Mews."

He then says "I wonder if the Aliens will try and help them and Blue Knight and I wonder how well the Mew Mews will do against me and my pets."

He then giggles and holds his hands together and holds them by his face as he smiles with his eyes closed. He sighs contently and says "Ooh boy... Oh boy... I feel oh so joyous and happy right now... I'm so greatful to his lordship the Great Dr. Koshin... He is such a terrific guy and such a great genius and father to me..."

He then opens his eyes and says "Maybe I'll take a quick power nap before I set one of my "pets" loose on those adorably weak little fools and watch as they are all brutally and maliciously slaughtered and torn apart in such gory ways. It makes me feel such great joy and happiness just thinking about it."

He then twirls around giggling "Oh my god I feel so filled with energy and mirth... I haven't felt so joyous and free and filled with energy... In such a long time... I must take a nap to clear my head so I can properly decide on what I'll send.."

He then walks through a door into a hallway where his bedroom on this ship is while smirking. He said as he was walking "Oh... I am so excited about all of this... Heeeheheeheheee HEEE!"

Meanwhile, at Cafe Mew Mew the girls, Aliens, Masaya and Keiichiro and Ryou were waiting for Taru to come. The girls were all in their street clothes as Lettuce said to Mint "Excuse me for doubting you or him but are you sure that we should tell Taru all about... Well everything?"

Kish said in a venomous tone of voice "Yeah I mean what if this Taru jerk tells the whole world about us. Huh?! What are we going to do then? Your feelings for him must be clouding your judgement."

Mint looked at Kish and Lettuce while glaring and she said "Of course we can. Taru is a very kind, loyal, honest, cute and handsome guy. And I don't ever want any of you to ever say such rude things about Taru EVER AGAIN!"

Zakuro had her hands in her pants pockets as she and the others were waiting for Taru to show up. Just then there was a knock on the door. Everyone had then turned to face the door and Taru's voice was heard on the other end as he said "Mint I'm here do you think you or the others can let me in please?"

Mint smiled and went to the door and she opened it and smiled at Taru "I'm so happy that you were able to make it Taru."

She then sees the tulip in his hand and she smiles "Is that for me Taru?"

Taru nods and says with a gentle smile "Yes it is Mint."

Mint smiles and grabs the tulip and she hugs Taru tightly. She says with a smile "I love you so much Taru. You're such a sweet and kind guy.. You are truly the best boyfriend ever. I'm so glad that we have both met each other and gotten together."

Taru hugs Mint back and smiles and says "You're the best girlfriend ever Mint. Whenever I'm with you I always feel very happy."

Mint said "Oh yeah. You came to learn that secret didn't you."

Taru nods and Mint said "Well come in and I'll tell you."

Taru and Mint both walked into Cafe Mew Mew together and Mint closed the entrance doors behind her. Taru was about to be thrust into a world that he had never known of. Will he keep the secret?
