A/N: Happy New Year, guys - even though it's like the end of February. Thanks for sticking with me! Love you all. :) This chapter takes place the next day at school. ^-^

Arceus High School

Iris' POV:

I look around the class as Mr Dorset drags on and on about how a Shinx's digestive system works. I roll my eyes. Why can't we learn about something worth the time? It's not like we are Pokemon so why do we need to know how their body systems work? I don't think anyone in my class has aspirations to become a Pokemon doctor like the infinite amount of Nurse Joys.

I gaze out of the window, bored out of my mind. I watch the clouds looming in the sky, threatening to shield the sun forever. I'm just about to fall asleep when a paper airplane just skims past my nose and lands in front of me. I look down at it. On it, is written 'Dawn' in messy handwriting. I roll my eyes. Ash. I'm totally over him, anyway, so I see him as pretty pathetic. I mean, that was a pretty lame throw considering Dawn is about six seats away from me. I look down at the note again and then I quickly scan the room. Should I tell Mr Dorset, read it, pass it to Dawn or throw it away? It's not like anyone's watching me, so if I do read it or pass it, I won't get in trouble. Although, I could get Ash in trouble and pay him back for what he did to me...

Maybe I should save my chance at revenge for something better than just getting Ash a fifteen minute detention and a telling off.

Cautiously, I unfold the paper airplane as quietly as possible and then start reading it. In the same messy handwriting, there are nine words written.

Dawn, do you want to hang out after school?

A small smile creeps on to my face. Maybe, if I can get Dawn and Ash to stop being friends, Ash will come crawling back to me and I can win him over! Okay, maybe I'm not entirely over him.

I pick up my blue biro and quickly write down a reply.

No. I have better things to do with my time than hang out with a loser like you. Sorry, Ash, but I never liked you. Never have, never will.

I read my reply three times. Is it a bit too forward? A bit un-Dawn sounding? I shrug my shoulders. Who cares? Ash is dense enough to fall for it anyway. I take my aim and throw the airplane across the classroom. It lands perfectly next to Ash. I smirk and then look down, pretending to do my work.

After class, I see Dawn running up to Ash, yelling his name. Ash ignores her. He's probably furious about the note. I quickly type something into my phone and then I smile and walk over to Dawn.

"Hey, Dawn!" I say in a chirpy voice. She glances over at me.

"Oh, hey, Iris," she replies.

"What's wrong? You look a little confused," I ask, managing to keep the evilness out of my tone.

"It's Ash... he's either not hearing me or ignoring me," she explains.

"Oh... yeah, I was going to tell you earlier but you seemed so happy and I didn't want to ruin your good mood," I lie. Dawn's left eyebrows cocks.

"Tell me what?" she asks.

"Ash hates you. He never liked you. He was only your friend to impress Miss Brown and show off about how sociable he is. Then, he only rejected me to make you stand up for him thus making everyone hate you," I say, pulling a serious face.

"What? That's a lie!" Dawn says, clearly not convinced. I pull my iPhone out of my pocket and show her the messages between me and Ash.

"See?" I ask, watching as Dawn reads it. Then, her eyes fill with an incredibly sad expression that I almost feel guilty about doing this. Then I remind myself that it's all worth it to get Ash.

"I-I th-thought..." Dawn starts off then quickly wipes a tear off of her cheek.

"Dawn..." I say, putting an arm over her shoulders. "It's alright," Dawn gently wiggles out of my grasp.

"Th-thanks for bringing this to my attention, Iris," Dawn smiles miserably before walking off. I smirk, the guilt eradicated from me. This could be the best plan I've ever come up with.

As I take my seat at my table, Misty seems to realise that I'm unusually happy since Ash rejected me.

"Hey, Iris, what's up?" she asks.

"Ah, nothing, Mist, just the fact that I managed to destroy Ash and Dawn's friendship!" I smile proudly. Misty, Paul and Barry stare at me, wide-eyed, mouths wide in shock.

"How?" Paul asks.

"Ah, you know me, a great liar, a fabulous actress and a genius!" I ink, slyly.

"So, are you going to tell us or not?" Barry asks.

"Oh, yeah. Well, basically, Ash threw a note, aimed at Dawn but it landed at me so I opened it and wrote a fake reply as Dawn, then -"

"What did the note say?" Misty interrupts.

"'Dawn, do you want to hang out after school?'. I replied with 'No. I have better things to do with my time than hang out with losers like you. I never liked you. Never have, never will.' or something along those lines. So then, because Ash was mad at Dawn, he ignored her. I have this app on my phone that lets you generate fake text messages. I used that and told Dawn that Ash was using her and he didn't really want to be her friend," I explain.

"Wow..." Paul says, practically speechless.

"You are amazing!" Barry says.

"A genius!" Paul adds. I laugh, stand up and take a bow.

"Thank you, thank you!" I chuckle as I sit down.

"Now what?" Misty inquires.

"We wait and see how it goes, then I'll make my next move," the evilness is now visible in my tone. I rub my hands together, smirking. I may as well have a witch's hat and be cackling.
