Kind of decided to go back and forth between the two characters this time. Sydrin must go to Trandosha, because the Trandoshan Elders heard about her as "Herald" from rumors. Rhen-Gahl also decides to go to Trandosha, but for other reasons...
-Herald,- Qyzen interrupted Sydrin and the Supreme Chancellor as they were speaking after the ceremony after Sydrin's final missions.
"Excuse me, Chancellor," Sydrin said, noting the tone of urgency in Qyzen's voice. "I need to speak with my friend."
"Don't worry about it; we were about finished anyway. Sydrin, good luck on your future missions. You definitely have a bright future," Supreme Chancellor Saresh responded.
"Thank you," Sydrin said and bowed slightly. She then followed Qyzen to a less crowded area of the hall.
-Must go to Trandosha. Elders want to meet Herald,- Qyzen said to her.
"Is this a bad thing, Qyzen?" Sydrin asked.
-Don't know. Seem to think you may be Herald, but might be luring us into a trap, if don't believe,- Qyzen responded.
"Shall we take the risk?" Sydrin asked him.
-If attacked. Have chance to claim many points for Scorekeeper,- Qyzen responded, looking at Sydrin intensely.
"Well then, we will leave tomorrow morning. Pack everything tomorrow and meet me at the Defender at the crack of dawn," Sydrin said quietly.
"Darth Occulus, what are your plans now?" Zash asked. Rhen-Gahl was still not used to hearing her voice come out of the Dashade, Khem Val's mouth. The newest member to the Dark Council took a few more seconds to look out of the shuttle's window, across the galaxy, and then turned to face Zash.
"I feel we should first go to Trandosha," Rhen-Gahl said, "I want to investigate some places that were on Thanaton's maps."
"What if it's a trap?" Zash asked.
"Then we will be ready," Rhen-Gahl responded and with that, he walked away to the cockpit.
When Sydrin and Qyzen got to Trandosha, they were quickly escorted to one of the larger dwellings. Qyzen said quietly to Sydrin, -Fess-clan hut.- They were separated after Qyzen explained that they would be separated so that they could prepare for what was to come.
Sydrin was escorted to a room and given clean clothing. It looked expensive, yet easy to fight in. She undressed and pulled on the brown trousers and the dark green lower robe. The brown tunic was tightly fitted and mimicked the breastplate of traditional warriors. She was also given heavily armored boots, gauntlets, and gloves. The last garment she pulled over her head was a cream-colored, long, hooded tunic.
After she was done getting changed, Sydrin walked out of the room to find that Qyzen was guarding her door. "Qyzen?" she asked. He was wearing dark green hunters' gear, similar to what he wore when Sydrin first met him.
-Yes, Herald?-
"What are you doing?" Sydrin said, looking him in the eyes.
-Told Yuon that you would be protected,- Qyzen responded.
"Really? Thank you, Qyzen!" Sydrin said.
Some other Trandoshans realized that Sydrin had walked out of the room and took her to the Trandoshan Elders. After some deliberation, the Trandoshan Elders told Sydrin that she and Qyzen were to go into the Trandoshan wilderness and kill some Mandolorians that had set up camp out there. The two agreed and started heading off, Qyzen taking the lead.
Before they even left the center of the village, Sydrin then heard several blaster fires and Qyzen buckled in front of her. "Qyzen?" Sydrin asked. She then looked back at the elders; several of them were hurt as well. Sydrin thought quickly and carried Qyzen into the closest hut, using some of her telekinesis powers, as the big Trandoshan was heavy, and healed him. He was still unconscious. She figured that he needed to rest for now, since she knew he was okay. As she ran out of the hut, she heard war yells as hundreds of Trandoshans passed her, heading to a huge group of Mandolorians, bigger than she had ever seen. There was no time to think as she ran into the fray, pulling her green lightsaber out.
There was blaster fire in the distance and Trandoshan war whoops. Rhen-Gahl's eyes flickered the same color as his lightning as he pulled out a purple lightsaber. "Come," he said to Xalek as he stalked off toward the sounds.
Rhen-Gahl made it to a huge Trandoshan village. The sounds were coming from the opposite side of the village, so he headed off through the village. When he got there, he saw Trandoshans fighting off Mandolorians and was surprised to see one green lightsaber shining through the fray. He entered and started fighting Mandolorians until he got to the single lightsaber and found Sydrin. "Fancy meeting you here!" the Sith Lord called to the Jedi Master.
Sydrin rolled her eyes and said, "Quit jabbering and help!"
As if to show off, Rhen-Gahl shot lightning past her face and at the Mandolorian who was approaching her. The two danced around each other, fighting with lighsaber, telekinesis, and lightingbolt until there were no more Mandolorians left.
"Nice techniques, Jedi, but do you think you could take me on?" Rhen-Gahl challenged.
"Oh no! A member of the Jedi Council against a member of the Dark Council? However will I manage?" Sydrin teased and with that, the two of them were off. They fought until neither of them could lift their lightsaber and it was late in the afternoon. There were still some Trandoshans there, watching at the edge of the village, cheering for their favorite side.
"Nice form, Sydrin. I have to say, I really didn't expect that from you," Rhen-Gahl revealed.
"And why is that? You didn't think that young little Jedi, Sydrin would be able to compare to the great Darth Occulus?" Sydrin said, somewhat indignantly. "You of all people should know that you should never underestimate an enemy."
Rhen-Gahl stepped close and whispered, "Am I an enemy?"
Sydrin quickly used her telekinesis to push him backwards and into the dirt. "You need to figure that one out on your own," she said as she walked off towards where Qyzen was waiting for her, looking amused and leaning against the side of a hut, looking much better than he did before.
