"Yeah..." Katniss says.
"Cinna's from the Capitol, and has a heart, along with Portia, and Seneca," Effie says.
"Seneca?" Katniss questions.
"He did let you and Peeta survive," Effie says.
Katniss doesnt's speak.
"The Capitol is a strange place. Not just on the outside, but the inside to. You don't know who you can trust. You think you have secrets, but the Capitol knows all. Be careful Katniss, be very careful. The Capitol is on it's last leg, and it's not going down without a fight," Effie says. '
Katniss doesn't kmow what to do nor say so she hugs her. Effie hugs her back stroking the younger girls hair.
"Just remember what who the enemy is," Effie whispers.
"Haymitch," Effie giggles," Stop before one of the children sees."
"They'll live, all they have to do is close their eyes," Haymitch says nibbling at her neck.
Effie gasps, and rolls her head back onto his shoulder.
"Woah Woah Woah," Portia says.
Effie and Haymitch pull apart. In their haste Haymitch accidentally sends a couple of glasses onto the floor. They shatter, and that brings people rushing into the kitchen.
"What's going on?" Peeta asks as he rushes into the room.
"You don't even want to know," Portia replies.
Katniss soon follows along with a sleepy eyed Prim.
"Everything okay?" Prim yawns.
"Portia what's taking you so long...woah what is going on in here," Cinna asks.
Effie puts a hand over her mouth. Her face is a deep red, and Haymitch as well.
"Noises...I can never unhear those noises," Portia says.
"What kind of noises?" Prim asks.
"None you need to be worried about," Katniss says hurriedly.
Effie then notices how averted everyone's eyes are. Haymitch and Effie are both covered so it's not like they saw anything.
"Effie hun...you might want to close your robe," Portia says as if reading Effie's mind.
Effie looks down and sees that her rather provactive looking corset has been exposed. She hurriedly closes her robe tying it tight against her.
"I bet Haymitch was only trying to help Effie loosen her corset," Cinna says in mock defense.
"Oh yeah he was trying all right," Portia says.
'"What does that even mean?" A curios Prim whines.
Peeta and Katniss look at each other remembering the mentors words to the infuriated escort.
"Nothing, just an inside joke," Peeta laughs nervously.
"Oh yeah Haymitch wanted to be inside alright...inside Effie that is," Cinna laughs.
Haymitch can smirk for he knows that it's true. Effie mortified for the children have seen quite enough.
"Oh no...you mean...Effie...and Haymitch...they...they were going to...you know... have...sex?" Prim asks in shock.
"No we weren't Haymitch just...oh look what you've done! I've scarred the children for life," Effie says burying her face in her hands.
"It's okay Effie, Portia and Cinna used to keep me and Katniss up at night with their...activities..." Peeta says.
"Time for bed!" Haymitch says.
"Why is everyone have sex on this train! Before you know it you and Peeta will be doing it," Prim exclaims as the three teens go to their rooms. Cinna and Portia go to their rooms leaving the original love birds alone.
"Come on Eff," Haymitch says.
"Oh no , you are sleeping alone tonight," Effie says stepping over broken glass and going into her room.
"What a night," Haymitch says to himself.
