Chapter 13

Reo vs Matsuri

**Reo's P.O.V

This has got to end. Matsuri is taking things too far this time. I have to somehow find this friend that Matsuri was in love with and try to convince her to be with Matsuri, if that's possible. I have no idea where she lives, so that's screwed up. And I doubt that she would be able to tell me where that best friend is anyway.

We are at my apartment, sitting together on my couch, watching a movie. I don't pay attention to anything that's being said on TV as I try to think of something proper to say. However, I don't get a chance when Matsuri takes notice of my troubled expression.

"Reo-sama?" she says. "Is something the matter?"

I say nothing as I keep looking at the floor.

"You know, Mai-sama should've just kept sulking in her room," she continues. "I mean, come on! She knew both of you broke up just because I was gonna call the police on her if she ever gets closer to you. But . . . she just never listened."

I clench my fists in anger. Stop it, I think to myself. Just stop it.

"However," she says as she turns me around and tips my chin to her level. "If you do as I say, maybe I'll give her a second chance. After all, you're the one I love now. She should just go die in a hole."

I gasp at her statement. No one should EVER talk about Mai like that! Matsuri leans closer to me.

"Kiss me, Reo-sama," she whispers. "Tell me you love me. I want to be by your side forever. And I can make Mai-sama go away forever as well. Are you willing?"

I hesitate as Matsuri leans in closer. Then, I furrow my eyebrows as I use all my strength to push her off.

"STUPID WITCH!"

SMACK!

With a hard slap across the face, Matsuri stumbles back and raises her hand to touch where I had hit her. She then slowly turns to me, shaking.

"R-Reo-sama?"

I glare at her as I stand up from the couch. "I just have had enough of you! How could I love you when you are this cruel to Mai!? It's obvious that you want me because you want to use me as a replacement for your stupid best friend!"

Matsuri gasps.

"That's right!" I yell. "I know that you're just using me! When you told me everything about your best friend, I thought long and hard about why you wanted me to yourself. And it's all because you wanted me to as a replacement, is that it!?"

Matsuri glares back at me. "W-what's it matter to you anyway!?"

"Everything!" I shout. "You only care about yourself, Matsuri! You don't love me at all, do you? If you care about your best friend so much, why don't you freaking contact her!? There's still a chance to talk with her!"

"No!" Matsuri shouts back. "She already has someone else, you witch! Didn't I freaking tell you that from the beginning!?"

"You did! And then, you told me about how I resemble her and it's got you a 'second chance'. Well, you know what? Your chances have been thrown away! I'm not your freaking replacement!"

Matsuri growls as she backs away and turns around. "I understand."

"Good. Now go contact your-"

"Then, I have no choice. No choice but to get rid of Mai-sama by force."

"What?" I did not like where this is going.

Matsuri turns around, having some dark aura around her. "If Mai-sama won't disappear, then I'll just have to get rid of her, even if it kills me!"

"No, please!" I beg as I back away until I bump into the wall. "You're going too far this time!"

"Too far?" she scoffs. "Please. This is far from over. Mai-sama has to go and you should still stay by my side. Because I love you, Reo-sama." She steps closer to the door. "Now, get out of the way."

"What?"

"Get . . . out of the way." She takes out a small knife from her pocket and is about to stab me with it.

However, I quickly react by punching her in the face, grabbing her and kneeing her in the groin after that. Then, I kick her in the chest to send her flying into the other side, with her still holding the taser. I run over and kick her in the face to have her stay down. She quickly rolls away as I try to kick her again and trips me with her foot, sending me tumbling to the ground. She goes over to me and is about to hit me again when I punch her again with the back of my hand, followed by an uppercut punch. She stumbles back some more, but tries to remain standing. I'm about to take a punch at her again when she grabs my shirt and strikes me in the guts, like a mule had kicked me. I clutch it with my arms, being unable to breathe for a second. Matsuri takes the chance to punch me again and again in the face. I try to remain standing as she tries to strike me again when I kick her in the chest sending her back into the wall.

I turn around, still clutching my stomach from the major hit I took. Just when I think that I won, I feel something sting my back.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH!" I scream.

Some electric shock surge through my body, making me unable to move for a second before collapsing face down on the floor. My body feels so numb I can't even move. A hand grabs my shoulder and pushes me face up as Matsuri comes over me, raising her taser with an evil smile. My eyes go blurry as I am about to pass out. The only thing I remember is Matsuri saying,

"This is only just to paralyze you. I'll deal with you later once Mai-sama is out of my hands."

It is then that everything goes black.

A/N: Well, here's where I like to put some action in my story. I apologize for the super short chapter. I'm so desperate to have some action in here that I just had to write it in here. It just leads up to the climax that some of you are waiting for and what I like to add as well. So, stay tuned everyone! Only a few more chapters left! How fun will that be!? Alright then! Time for me to head off!
