Previously in HTTYD: The Terrible Duo

And knowing Stoick, He'll sail there and bravely(More like, Stupidly, Unknowingly and crazily) charge head first... then die a horrible death.

"Okay... Got a plan?"

"I'm still recovering from betrayal, sadness and depression. What do you think?"

"Good to have you back, Hiccup."

"Follow me at the highest point overlooking the docks."

Oh hiccup, you smart boy.

At the docks

I watch in disgust as they loaded both Toothless and Bolt(Although bolt was put on a separate boats due to his massive size) to the boats. Their struggles only resulting in futile...

My hand was twitching to just stop them...

Yet I couldn't. I will only fail. Both of them were muzzled and chained like animals. I hate those Vikings. From this point of view, It's hard to see, but I swear I saw Stoick look towards our directions. I glanced over Hiccup, looking guilty and miserable. And when Stoick's eyes met mine...

All I could give him was a cold stare, filled with hate and disgust.

Soon, the ships disappeared from sight. I stared at the open sea, Hiccup praying to Odin that none would die(Because I know Hiccup very well to predict that) while I just crossed my arms. I then heard approaching footsteps. Astrid...

"It's a mess... You must feel horrible. You've lost everything." She told Hiccup. I scowled.

"Your father, Your tribe, Your..." She looked at me(Though it seems she hasn't noticed my expression yet). "... Your best dragon friend."

"Thank you for summing that up..." Hiccup said sarcastically.

"If you just came here just to make us feel bad, then you can expect Swift's poison in your food." I replied bitterly.

"Why couldn't I have just killed that dragon when I found it in the woods...? Wouldn't it be better for everyone?" Hiccup sighed. I scowled yet again. Must I snap Hiccup out of his "Mr. Self loathing" self every time he makes a mistake(Well, huge one)?

"Yep. The rest of us would've done it. So why didn't you?" Astrid said.

"I..." Hiccup couldn't answer. Of course, I know the reason(And I'm pretty sure Hiccup know as well). It's actually almost similar to why I didn't handed Swift over the Vikings when I first met him as a kid.

Instead of waiting for Hiccup to answer, I replied, "Let's see... If He had killed Toothless, He would've fallen into a never-ending state of depression and guilt, Be haunted by Nightmares, Never discovered that we can be friends with dragons, Never would've discovered the dragon's nest and be mentally scarred for the rest of his life.". There. A long and logical list of horrible consequences.

"That... And... I just couldn't." Hiccup said.

"What about you?" Astrid asked, facing me.

"I have hurt other dragons before... But have you ever seen me kill one?" I replied as Astrid shook her head.

"Hiccup? Tell me." Astrid asked hiccup.

"Why is this so Important to you all of a sudden?!" Hiccup snapped at Astrid.

"Because I wanna remember what you say right now." Astrid replied.

"Oh for the love of...! I was a coward, I was weak! I wouldn't killed a dragon!"

"You said wouldn't that time."

"Fine! I wouldn't kill him! I can't find it in me to end his life! Three hundred years and I'm the first Viking who wouldn't kill a dragon...! Besides Marcus!"

"First to ride one though... So?"

Hiccup sighed. "I wouldn't kill him because he looked as frightened as I was... I looked at him, and I saw myself." He said. That was actually Ninety percent of the reason I thought he had.

"I bet he's very frightened now... And..." Astrid looked at me. "What was the name of that skrill of yours?" She asked me.

"Bolt."

"Right... Bolt too." Astrid finished.

If I know Hiccup(which I do), His head would have formed a plan right about... Now.

"Something crazy, stupid and has a seventy percent chance of succeeding." He said as he bolted off.

"That's more like it." Astrid said.

"Oh how I love the sounds and odds of Hiccup's plans." I added.

At the dragon arena

A few minutes later, All of us(Including Fishlegs, the twins and snotlout) had entered the arena just in time.

"If you plan on getting eaten, I'd definitely go with the gronckle." Fishlegs said.

Tuffnut shoved him out of the way and went over to hiccup. "You were wise to seak the help of the world's most deadly weapon. That's me." Tuffnut said.

He was then followed by Snotlout. "I love this plan. I..."

He was then cut off by Ruffnut. "You're crazy... I like that."

Astrid yanked Ruffnut away from Hiccup. "So... What is the plan?"

Hiccup and I merely grinned.

Meanwhile with Stoick

One way to describe this trip was dreadful.

No really, It really is. The fog that obscure this place was dreadful. The ominous feeling it sends down your spine was dreadful. But were they afraid? Certainly not!

They then come across a broken ship that was hanging from one of the rocks. "That's not very encouraging." Muttered one Viking.

"Oh... I was wondering where that one went." Gobber stated.

Okay... Maybe they were a teensy bit afraid. Hey, If you saw a ship like that, You couldn't help but recall the times when a ship would accidentally crash and throw it's passengers overboard... Yeah, Bad memories.

But Stoick remained stoic as always.(A/n: Hehe, Funny)

For toothless and Bolt however... It was terrifying. The constant whispers that invade their minds was unbearable. To Toothless, Who has experienced this before, was slightly disturbed. But Bolt, Who has never been to the nest for most of his life, was completely overwhelmed. Whispers and Voices kept pestering him over and over. It was like hearing the scratching noise of a sword being dragged to an iron ground. It kept telling them to come to it and obey it. The worst part? They couldn't do anything but answer it's call.

Then... They hit the ground. All the Vikings looked at each other with worry and fear.

Stoick pushed them out of the way. They then saw a tail of a Monstrous Nightmare slip away.

"We're here." Stoick said. He then jumped off the boat and surveyed the surroundings. They will win. No matter the cost.

Too bad the cost might be too high for them to pay.

Back with Marcus and the others.

I watch quietly as Hiccup draws out the Nightmare from it's cage, It's eyes narrowed at Hiccup. I merely smirked and crossed my arms.

Snotlout then picked up a spear's head but Astrid nudged him and told him to drop it, which he did a bit reluctantly.

Hiccup then grabbed Snotlout's hand but he grew more nervous. Hiccup reassured him that it won't bite him and had him place his hand the dragon's snout. The dragon's eyes softened a bit and purred. Hiccup then left them there.

"Where are you going?!" Yelled Snotlout.

"You're gonna need something to help you hold on." Hiccup said. The others then turned around to see the other dragons out of their cages.

I grinned yet again and thought, 'This, my companions, is real dragon training.'

I just hoped Stoick hasn't angered that monster in any way...

At the Nest, With Stoick

All around, Vikings set their defenses and prepare themselves for the war that will decide their fates. They will either win and come back with renewed glory and pride or... Well, Let's not think about that.

"When we crack this mountain open, All hell is going to break lose." Stoick said.

"In my undies. Good thing I brought extras." Gobber added. All of them merely shook their heads at his sentence.

"No matter how this ends, It ends today." Stoick stated, raising his hand for the signal.

Then... He closed it, Ultimately deciding their fates.

The Catapults then fired at the same spot, hitting it with rocks and finally...

It broke, causing a giant hole on the mountain...

Stoick marched inside with his hammer raised. Stoick signaled for light. A ball of fire then launched overhead, revealing numerous and countless dragons inside, all growling in confusion.

Stoick yelled a battle cry and charged head on. Dragon flew towards him to battle the large man... Well, That's what Stoick thought they were going to do.

Until all of them flew past him before he could even hit one of them.

Stoick kept swinging his hammer until he stopped to consider what was going on... He didn't know it, but the dragons were all yelling one thing...

Run...

Toothless and Bolt, who were still at the boat, cowered in fear as the cries of the fleeing dragon bombarded their ears. They wish they could escape... Too bad even if they can, Toothless won't be able to fly. And Bolt will be forced to try and carry him(Which he is not looking forward to).

Stoick seemed to believe in their victory until he squinted his eyes to see both dragons struggling to get free... Until he heard something rumble from behind him...

"This isn't over! Form your ranks! Hold together!" Stoick suddenly shouted, alarming the others.

Just then, Cracks appeared right from the mountain and a loud roar made Stoick hold his ground. Stoick then saw something big come out of the hole and retreated.

"Get clear!" He yelled.

From the hole, A humongous head showed itself and made it's way out of the mountain. It was the queen... And she is angry...

Back with Marcus

We managed to get them on dragon back and are now making our way towards the nest. Hiccup and I rode with Astrid on Stormfly, The deadly Nadder. I clutched my left eye(Which is now properly bandaged) in pain... I'm no medical expert, But due to the strain It has been through, It could probably be blinded permanently... But this will not stop me...

"Marcus, You okay back there?" Hiccup asked, turning his head to me.

"Yeah... I'm fine." I answered him.

I just hope We're not too late...

At the nest

Every Viking fled for their lives as the giant dragon rampaged.

"Beard of Thor! What is that?!" Exclaimed Gobber as he took in the sheer size of the monster.

Stoick could only say one thing...

"Odin help us..."
