It was finally a new week. One thing Kol had learned about humans was that they liked rhythm. He walked to the coffee shop and stood in line. The bell on the door rang, causing Kol to turn around and see who had just entered the shop. He smirked when he noticed the familiar color of red hair that he had admired just last week on this same day. He was already by the register and decided to try a different approach. He ordered his cream puffs, this time using the correct words, and waited for the man to pack a few in a bag. Kol grabbed the bag after paying and walked out of the shop, without giving the girl a second glance. Once he was outside, he looked back to see if she had noticed him at all. In the corner of his eye he saw her staring at him. Kol smirked and walked down the street, towards the park bench. He watched the coffee shop as he ate a cream puff, waiting for the girl to come out. After several minutes, she had finally exited and got in her car like last time and began to drive off. Kol used his speed to follow her and find out where she was heading. She finally stopped driving and parked the car near a cafe.
'This girl really enjoys her coffee.' Kol thought. He watched her curiously as she sat down at an empty table that was outside. She pulled a phone out of her purse and I heard a dial tone.
"Quin. I'm here." It was a man on the other side.
"Good." She replied, her lips formed into a small smile.
'So your name is Quin.' Kol smirked. 'How..refreshing.' He continued to watch her and saw a man around the same age as her sit down next to her. The first thing they did was kiss. Kol raised his eyebrows.
'So she has a boyfriend.' He didn't like sharing. Kol crossed his arms and watched them with annoyance. After a few minutes passed, the man got up and entered the cafe. Kol got up as well and entered the cafe using his speed. He followed the man to the restroom and waited for him to finish. When the man finished washing his hands, his phone rang.
"Hey, babe. You know I miss you too, but I'm stuck at work all day today. I won't be able to make it." He shut his phone and sighed. Kol scoffed.
'Cheater, cheater..' He thought. The man looked up and jumped when he saw Kol staring at him in the mirror.
"Whoa, that's creepy." He chuckled at Kol.
"What are your intentions with Quin?" Kol asked him, using his compulsion.
"I really like her, but she's too independent. I need a girl that revolves her life around me. She's just a trophy." He said.
"I want you to tell Quin that you're gay and have slept with 3 men this week alone and now you want to come out of the closet. Then.. Are you listening, mate?" He gripped the man's chin and forced him to look straight into his eyes. "Then you're going to break up with her and walk away and never contact her again. Go." Kol waited for the man to walk out of the bathroom before he sped back to his original position where he could watch Quin from afar. The man had said everything that Kol had told him to and walked away. Kol watched Quin. She didn't seem particularly sad, just shocked. He smirked and went back to his apartment.
'Till next week, Quin. Your whole life as you know it is going to change.'
Was going to leave this as a one shot but a few of you were interested and I felt like giving a little more to the last person who reviewed haha. Hope you enjoyed.
