Hello! I just want to give a big shoutout and THANKS to MakuHaruFree! :) Her upbeat comments motivate me to keep writing. Thanks! I'm going to give you guys a list of the remaining tributes so you don't get confused:

Lola

That whole Damon thing was weird. What was he thinking? It must have been an act of defiance. I am too busy thinking, I don't hear Gentry yelling my name.

"Lola. Lola!"

"Wha..What?"

"We are going to go hunt."

"Oh, ok."

It is almost 100 degrees and we are going to go running in the now scorched forest. I'm a career. I can deal with anything. Tomorrow could be below zero so I just need to get past today. Sand flies in my face and I realize this isn't the climate for me. District two has a cooler temperature. I slowly get up. I ask, "Who's guarding?"

Ashlar says, "Neal."

Neal looks at Ashlar and is almost asking 'Why me?' before he thinks of who he is talking to. I know he wants to be a true career and not the watchman. I feel bad for him and I'm so hot and tired that I say, "Let Neal go with you guys, I'll watch."

"Are you sure?" Gentry and Neal say at the same time.

"Yah. I'll hunt tomorrow."

Ashlar looks around and says, "Fine by me. Let's go."

They turn and jog into the parched woods. The sun is blinding my eyes so I go in the cornucopia. Man, I'm so tired. I look around one last time and my eyesight gets blurry. I start to get droopy and fall asleep.

Kolt

I see the careers running into trees on the opposite side of the arena. I can see completely through the trees because they have no leaves and are shriveled up. It's my time to go to the cornucopia. It's farther than I think and it's so hot. Dehydration will get me soon. I need to go. I am no longer on the shore because there is no water. Everything is sand. In the distance, I see something moving. It's moving towards me. I brace my weapon thinking it's a person, but no.

It is a horse. It is light brown with a black mane. Wow, It's amazing. I don't think it's a trick. It's not hurting me or doing anything. It is just standing about 10 feet away from me. I hear beeping. I frantically turn and turn I until I see its source. It's a big parachute with a big box attached to it.

I slowly approach it, bend down, and open it. A sponsor! The note says, 'Go tame it.' He's probably talking about the horse. Inside the box is reins, a saddle, and some rope. Yes, YES! At the bottom is an apple. I take all of the stuff and approach the majestic animal. I hold out my hand with the apple and look away. When I look back, the horse is munching on it. I love horses and I had a horse back in 9, so I know how to apply all the equipment. I put on the reins and saddle. The horse distracts me and I think about Lauren again. Just last night, I was saying I would look for her. This is one of the fastest ways to travel the arena. I eat the rest of the horse's apple because I am so hungry. The sweet taste overwhelms my mouth. Now, I need water. Plan; I will go find Lauren and then go to the cornucopia.

I mount the horse and start riding. I go the opposite way that the careers went. I look side to side as I ride. Finally, I see two girls. I squint to see through the heavy sand and see Lauren. I yell "Lauren!" and then think I shouldn't have done that. I cover my mouth and the two girls look. They look a bit confused and scared at the same time. They tilt there heads a little. "It's a horse." "Ya, we know," The girl I don't know says. Lauren says, "How did you get it?" "If we can try being allies, I can show you."

All of the sudden a gust of sand is 150 feet in front of me and coming fast. A gut feeling makes me think it's poison so I motion the girls to come. "Come with me! We can get away from this." They hesitate, then look at the sand, then at each other, and shake their heads. "Just come now. We can get away and then separate. Just come and I can save you." They still stand there frozen.

The sand storm is now 75 feet away. I am yelling and screaming now. "Please Lauren come!" I look at the dust storm. "I'm going to go if you don't come." Both the girls look around for shelter. "There is no place to go, except with me. Come on. It's getting closer!" The storm is 25 feet away. I look once more at both the girls, Lauren and one I don't recognize. I have made my choice. I feel bad leaving them, but they wouldn't have come anyways. I would've been dead if I waited any longer. I lightly kick my horse. It neighs and starts running. I will never know what happened to those two.

Ariana

I am still bleeding and there is a red trail in the sand. I am dehydrated, hungry, hurt, and alone. I collapse and suddenly see a thick sand storm coming my way. But it is not a normal sand storm. When the slightly green tinted sand touches a plant, it shrivels and dies. What do I do? I take all of my little strength and put it to use. I start running and running until I come to a cave. Thank God, something in my favor. I crawl in it and fall again. I watch as the sand goes past me and a feeling of relief comes over me. But then I remember my arm. Oh no.

Everything around me is red. My death will be from bleeding out. This has been almost like suicide. I cut myself. Some sound startles me. It is a low beeping which gradually becomes louder. I search around and soon a parachute with a small steel box lightly hits me. I eagerly open it. A note says, 'I'm saving you, so try to win.' Inside the box is ointment and a bandage. I instantaneously apply the ointment to my arm, which stings, but is worth it. Then I wrap around the white bandage and barely feel any pain from the wound.

I silently whisper 'Thank you' to myself and whoever is watching me now. I think I am starting to have some luck. I could win.

Colbi

Chamomile and I share half of a water bottle from her backpack, while watching the sandstorm below us. We are in a tree so it can't reach us. In the distance, I see Tristan and Ford running from the sandstorm while holding hands. Is their love real or are they doing it for the attention? I will never know. I don't even feel the urge to go down and chase them. I'm feeling peaceful and serene now, so I just want to rest and stay alive.

"Hey, Cham. What else is in your backpack?"

"Um... rope, a small bag of potatoes and some pain killers."

"Great. Everything we need. Weapons, food, and some medicine. Good grab."

"Thanks, and what do you have? A sword. You could of got more. You're stronger than any of them."

She playfully punches me and I take that as a compliment.

"Thanks, I guess. If that was a compliment."

"It was supposed to be an insult." She rolls her eyes and we both quietly laugh. The sun never seems to be going down even though it feels like 6:00 P.M. In 11, the sun went down at 5:15 P.M. I don't know what time the Game Makers will make it go down. It's the Hunger Games, anything can happen here. I sigh and lean against the trunk of the tree and look out at the arena. It is clever and annoying. I decide tonight, I will stay up and watch this thing change.
