Ok sorry again for a late update, college has kept me busy for a while and I've had writers block concerning this story. But hey better late than never as they say.

Blitz walked home slowly wondering what he should do about what Shakkaku just said well sung to him. "He's a nice guy and all but I don't know it might be bad. But he is rather cute. Hmm but my parents might not be happy with it I don't think they like gay people. However Shakkaku is my closest friend and maybe it would be good to take it further. OH I DON'T KNOW" Blitz shouted "I'll ask my mom she's smart and clever she'll be able to help me" Blitz said triumphantly smiling to himself. Then he stopped walking suddenly then whispered "but I would need to tell her I'm gay oh no no no I can't tell her that, but I want advice on what I should do" Blitz resumed walking arguing with himself all the way home.
"MOM I'M HOME" Blitz called as he entered he's cave home.
"Hello sweety how was school today?" Kaigo asked
"It was ok erm, can I speak to you about something mom please, without dad if that's ok?" Blitz asked nervously. Blitz's mother stood framed by the door way, a tall floatzel with pale green eyes, then she nodded and smiled at her son "Of course you can honey" she said softly "Come through to the kitchen and we'll have a chat" Blitz followed her into their small kitchen trying to figure out what he was going to say. The floatzel sat down on the floor and Blitz sat next to her. Blitz took several deep breaths before he started to speak. "Well mom you see I'm, well there's this person at school and, huh, erm my friend Shakkaku asked me" Blitz struggled for another few minutes before he said suddenly and rather rapidly "I'm gay my friend Shakkaku asked me out today and I don't know what to do please don't tell dad" Blitz was breathing heavily then he looked away from he's mother and down at the floor worried about what he's mother was about to say. There was a moments silence then Kaigo smiled and whispered "Its ok honey, don't worry I won't tell your father I promise. As for what to do with Shakkaku well if you like him back don't let anything get in your way honey go for it. Between you and me your father was too scared to ask me out so I had to do it" Blitz's mother laughed and Blitz laughed with her "and by the way Blitz, I think he and you will make a cute couple. Now run along so I can prepare dinner£ and Blitz got up and ran out the kitchen smiling.
Yet again Blitz couldn't concentrate properly as he was thinking about Shakkaku and how he was going to tell Shakkaku how he really felt about him. However this time come sparring practice Blitz won 2-1 against a mean looking charmeleon. Come lunch time Blitz had decided on what he was going to tell Shakkaku but, when he entered the canteen area, a small patch of grass surrounded by flowers, he couldn't see Shakkaku anywhere and started to worry a bit "Professor Sever have you seen Shakkaku about?" Blitz asked a rather bored Grovyle.
"Huh, he's in detention with Dr Horu for lack of homework Hikage" the Grovyle said evidently fed up with its job. "ok thanks" Blitz ran off to find he's friend and to tell him the good news. Blitz spent the remainder of he's lunch break waiting outside Dr Horu's room waiting for Shakkaku to emerge from he's detention. When the chingling and chimecho sounded Shakkaku came out looking a little sad "Hey what's wrong mate" Blitz asked a little worried as Shakkaku rarely looked sad.
"Dr Horu is going to tell my mom and dad about my poor work, they're going to kill me when they find out" Shakkaku sat down heavily on the floor and buried he's face in he's claws.
"I'm sure it'll be fine Shakkaku you do your bets don't you and that's all people can ask of a person so I'm sure it'll all work out in the end" Blitz said comfortingly to he's friend. The pair sat in silence for a bit then Blitz worked up the courage to ask Shakkaku what he had been planning to ask from the start. "Shakkaku there's something I want to ask you" he said slowly trying to remain calm. He took several deep breaths then said a little louder than he meant to "will you go out with me. I really do like you and I'm sorry for everything before about not liking you. I really do like you. You're the nicest person I've ever met and your sweet and kind and always do things with the best intention. And your kind of cute" all this came out in such a rush Shakkaku had trouble making sense of it all but then he started to smile and he hugged blitz tightly "yes. Yes I will" he squeaked, Blitz let out a sigh of relief and said sadly "We have to get going to our next class or we're going be in trouble again" Blitz hugged Shakkaku one last time then ran off to he's next class smiling to himself as he went.
