"This is kidnapping. This is fucking kidnapping," I spoke, glaring at anybody that looked my way.
Apparently nobody was going to tell me what was going on, and instead demanded that I come with them on their fancy government plane. So here I was, sitting in some strange technologically advanced vehicle that also held Captain America, Iron Man, and a crazy God named Loki.
Awesome.
I looked around, and upon seeing that nobody was paying attention to me, I tried a different tactic. I stood, and walked to the front of the vehicle where everyone else was.
"Um, guys?" I cleared my throat.
Stark and the Captain turned to face me, and suddenly I felt my nerves reach an all-time high.
These guys are legends, and they're standing right in front of me.
But then again, after everything that happened today, there was really no need to swoon over their fame. I suppose that went out the window the second I was attacked by a crazy God and somehow managed to live when any normal person would have been killed. Yeah.
"I think the least you can do right now, since you're kidnapping me and taking me to some unknown destination, is tell me what is going on," I said, trying my best not to swear or throw anything at them.
It must have worked, because Captain America gave me a firm nod.
"We've been looking for that guy for a while now," He nodded over at Loki, who was sitting towards the back of the plane with a blank stare. "And then we found him. We tried to get to the opera house as fast as we could, and well, that's all really. You know everything from there," He spoke.
I frowned, as it wasn't nearly enough information, but then nodded. I suppose I was lucky to get any information, so despite how vague it was, I was grateful. But it still didn't answer why they were taking me with them. Not to mention, where the hell we were going.
And then I felt stupid.
You managed to stand up to the guy they've been looking for and come out without a scratch, and you're wondering why they took you? You're a fucking freak show, of course they'd bring you with them.
I let out a long sigh, and sat back down in my seat.
For the first time in a long while, I felt the urge to stay silent, and think.
What was going to happen to me? What are they going to do? Will they let me go? Will they kill me? Will they do some freaky mind wipe thing?
I quickly shook my head, trying to get those thoughts out of my head.
I was about to speak up once again when a loud crash of thunder sounded, and the inside of the plane lit up from the lightning. I nearly jumped straight out of my seat from the sudden outburst of noise, and immediately frowned.
What the hell?
"Where's this coming from?" The red haired woman mused aloud.
I couldn't help but to agree with her, as there had been no sign of this weather before now. Lightning couldn't show up that quickly, could it?
"What's the matter, afraid of a little lightning?"
I turned to see Steve talking to Loki, who looked frightened by the sudden commotion. What?
From what I had seen earlier, this guy looked like an arrogant asshole who thought that he was pretty badass, and now he looked scared of lightning?
But Loki just gave him a look.
"I'm not overly fond of what follows." He spoke.
The way that he said it made me think that there was more to the story, but before I could wonder what his words meant, there was a sudden jerk that signaled something heavy landing on the roof of the plane.
My head snapped back and hit the wall behind me, sending my blonde hair flying into my face. I groaned, and quickly swiped it aside, standing up as Stark began walking towards the hatch, putting on his helmet.
"What are you doing?" Steve called out, but Stark ignored him, pressing the button to open the hatch.
Wind poured through the door, and my hair felt like a tornado around my head as the wind whipped through it. But my hair was quickly forgotten as a man somehow flew inside the plane, and I felt my blue eyes widen as I noticed his clothing, which was eerily similar to that of Loki's.
He strode forward, and easily batted Tony aside when he brought his gauntlet up for an attack. Tony's suit was thrown backwards, and I had to throw myself to the side to avoid being crushed by the red and gold armor. I stumbled into the Captain, who quickly steadied me, before turning back to the man.
He had grabbed Loki out of his seat, holding him by the neck. Steve started forward, but was too late, as the man jumped out of the plane.
What the fucking hell is going on?
"Another Asgardian?" The red head asked, looking back as she tried to figure out the situation.
Asgardian? For some strange reason, I felt like I knew the name, like I had heard it before. Asgardian… Asgard… Wait, like as in the Norse mythology Asgard? My eyebrows shot upwards as I remembered the man's hammer.
No fucking way.
But before I could marvel over the fact that I might have just seen the Thor, real life kept on moving forward without me.
"That guy's a friendly?" The Captain asked, staring out at the open hatch with a frown.
Stark turned back, still fully dressed in his suit.
"Doesn't matter. If he frees Loki or kills him, the Tesseract is lost." He spoke, before walking over to the hatch, which was still open and blowing wind through my hair.
The Tesseract? What was that?
The Captain called out to him.
"Stark, we need a plan of attack!" He shouted.
There was no hesitation in Tony's voice as he looked back.
"I have a plan," He began. "Attack."
And with that, he promptly flew off of the plane.
My eyebrows were fixed in a permanent position high on my brow, and I believe that my mouth was open as I tried to figure out what was going on. Some man in a cape landed on our plane, took Loki and jumped out into the air, and now Iron Man had jumped out after them. Soon after, the Captain was putting on a parachute to jump as well, saying something about God not wearing weird clothes.
And then he was gone, just like the others.
So there I was, standing in a practically empty plane, wondering just what the hell happened in the past minute.
The hatch of the plane closed, and my blond hair finally stopped stinging my face with every powerful gust of air. I stood there staring at the now closed hatch for a few seconds longer, before turning to look at the redheaded copilot in disbelief.
"Um," I cleared my throat. "Does this happen very often?"
She looked back at me with a small smile.
"You caught us on a bad day,"
I let out a deep breath.
"Well, that makes me feel so much better."

A/N: So I know that I have a lot of apologies to make, since it's been an insanely long time since I've updated. I don't know if I'll update Don't Let Me Fall anytime soon, since it's still sitting on my computer waiting to be edited. I honestly didn't expect to get this sort of response to this story (or DLMF, for that matter), so this is my attempt to make up for it. I know the chapter's short and doesn't really cover anything at all, but it's my way of telling you guys that I'm going to continue this story. I still don't know about DLMF, but we'll see. I'm so sorry, again, guys.
