The North Road and the Long Fort

Ed 18 Here!
CHECK OUT GHOST TRICK. And maybe Officer Bailey's awkward dance...Lunatic mode needs a serious taste of justice!
Really...I bet Lunatic+ mode is just a huge troll face! Darn, I'm so excited for Fire Emblem 14, it's coming out on 2016 or so I've heard...I'm planning to get both versions! And the DLC, of course! I'm excited for Dai Gyakuten Saiban too, but I can't afford so much...Not only have I hopped into the Ghost Trick Ship, I'm also getting into Vocaloid. My favs are Rin and Ren! Kinda like how I am with Jasdero and David from DGM.

I was slightly out of breath when I had finally caught up with the other Shepherds. Our white-haired tactician was leading their weapons. His skills were bringing us a flawless victory no doubt, I thought as he finished off a barbarian Risen. A dull sharp piece of iron that was stuck to a stick caught my attention. Perhaps I should return it to its rightful owner? This axe is quite familiar looking after all. I rushed in as fast as I could. The axe was weighing me down, but there's nothing really to object about in this situation...Our Tactician made Frederick support me in the battle, one glance at the Great Knight, you could tell he hardly gained a scratch since the battle started compared to Sully who was trying her best to dual guard Chrom. I suppose he wants me to get a defense boost and a useless strength boost. He then approached me to trade tomes. I knew I should have took the Thunder tome but I was on quite the rush. My research showed that the Thunder tomes are stronger than the Wind and Fire tomes. But Dark Magic seems to be even more powerful, however I'm not thinking about reclassing into a Dark Mage. The get up...is...I flung my attention back to the present. This was no time to be lost in you own thoughts I shall say! I finished off the Risen Cheif with a powerful lightning bolt from the tome. A predicted outcome...The axe's owner walked by and I immediately grabbed him by his wrist.
"Vaike. I assume this belongs to you?" I stated sternly as I handed his Iron Axe.

"H-hey! That's my axe! Thanks Miriel! Er, for the axe..." "Perhaps I should cast a spell so your weapon can be fastened to your hand. That way, we don't need to worry about you forgetting it." I shot him a stern look then pushed my spectacles back. Robin, Chrom, and Lissa slowly approached a wounded Pegasus but the fascinating winged horse was not letting them near her. Sumia slowly walked up to them, probably trying to avoid falling on her face perhaps...No amount of analyzing would help us find a way to halt her habit of tripping, I suppose. Sumia called out to her love before taking a step forwards. With a 'thud' she was planted on the ground once again. Maybe it's her shoes? Our Cobalt-haired leader watched in amazement as the Pegasus Knight soothed the Pegasus like an Goddess. It wasn't the first time I've witnessed her calming one down, but the whole thing was fascinating. It must be what they call 'natural talent' or gift. Her way with faunas were seen often but perhaps we should try it out with insects and arachnids...

We continued our march to Regna Ferox afterwords, I watched Sully scold Stahl to his death. She was criticizing him about how weak he had performed during the battle. Sadly, I didn't observe their performance so I couldn't really be rebutting Stahl's testimony. I continued to listen to their argument until Lissa came to put it to an end. Sully's horse glared at the green armored cavalier's, maybe I should conduct a research about this too...I flipped through my notebook when the memory of that conversation we had came back to knock on my mind's door. Stahl was 'shadow-fencing' and I was terribly disappointed when he declined my request the first time. I had noticed a quiet rock, sitting beside my feet, as if it was waiting for me to trip on it like a predator. I picked it up and started mumbling things I've noticed about this one, it was round, and perfect for throwing at anybody who despises science. A faint smile farmed upon my lips as I fondly recalled the memory. The North wind blew on our faces snow was slowly dancing its way to the ground, we were definately nearing our destination. Lissa complained about the temperature wich Frederick only smiled and told her to stay behind his horse. Chrom seemed to be hardly affected along with Robin. Those two were like brothers occasionally, not a single dispute have happened between them so far.

"Prepare for battle!" Our heads snapped at the direction the voice originated. It was Lissa, we seemed to have arrived at our destination, my mind was screeching for the reason. That's when it pulled the string in my mind. They were assuming we were brigands due to the Plegian Bandit problems. I recalled the many missions we were sent to, the task was usually the same though, save the villagers, murder the bloody distasteful murderers. The mystery about my altered vision remained unexplained, no amount of research seemed to answer the slightest bit of my question. Snow was blowing and dancing around us, we might be swimming in disadvantage's waters, the Feroxi warriors must've be accustomed to the Feroxi cold. For a moment I was thinking about pouring water over Vaike...I gently set that crude idea aside for his and my reputation's sake.

Robin allowed me to take down the archers up close. Sumia was paired up with Frederick in order to gain more strength and defense boosts, I didn't fail to see the look of disappointment in her eyes. To my own dismay, I was stuck with the tactician himself. He was different no doubt, from all of us. Interior. We were all different of course, but there was just something that makes him look like the White King standing in between pawns. Our Pegasus Knight swooped down to get the door key that the warrior dropped after his death, her facial expression clearly showed horror. Her jawline tightened as she stabbed her iron lance through the warrior that tried to finish her off. Lissa came rushing to her with her breaking staff, I dragged my focus into my own battle again. Robin seemed pleased with my performance and was still using the fire tome that we traded in the North Road. A pang of disappointment rose from inside of me. Our Tactician must know alot more about the world but has forgotten all of it other then his name, and brain for strategic battles. Vaike delivered the final blow to their commander with the Hammer that the opposing fighter was carrying. "Then...your claims were true..." she gasped from the damage that was blown on her. I observed my surroundings to see if we lost any Ylissean lives. Robin could be trusted indeed I told myself, he did a fine job at letting everyone battle and survive. I bit my bottom lip as I admitted this to myself: "I'm truly impressed."
