Happy Birthday, story! You are officially one year old! Congratulations! I needed to post a chapter in the story's birthday honor! Unfortunately, I was a little too busy to post it on your actual birthday… but at least I'm posting it!
Merry (late) Christmas! Happy holidays! Happy New Year!
One last thing: In the previous chapter, I know Nocturne was out of character. He is incredibly hard to write, seeing as he only appeared once…
One last thing: The ghosts aren't actually attacking one by one… Nocturne meant that the entire population of the Ghost Zone is not going to attack him at once like in Phantom Planet.
DISCLAIMER: I don't own Danny Phantom! *cries*
Previously:
Nocturne raised his hand and waved it across the air in front of him. The helmets of most of his class mates broke off, yet they stayed sleeping.
"There. You still have quite a lot of work, but you'll still move on to your next challenge soon enough.
With that, Nocturne laughed evilly and faded away.
"That still seems so unlike him…" Danny muttered, turning to his task.
Danny studied the people who were still wearing Nocturne's helmet. Those still under its influence were Sam, Tucker, Jazz, Jack, Maddie, Dash, Paulina, Kwan, Mikey, Nathan, Valerie, and Mr. Lancer. Everyone else seemed to be in an extremely deep, trance-like sleep. He walked up to Gregory (who had collapsed on the very edge of the path) and rolled him over and away from the endless depths that were practically the only thing that made up the composition of the Ghost Zone. Danny then shook Gregory to test how deep his sleep was. Gregory didn't show any sign that he even felt Danny shaking him at all.
"Perfect," Danny muttered, satisfied that his secret would stay safe, for now. He then shook his head at his actions of procrastination and trudged over to where Sam lay, sound asleep. He smiled at her still and peaceful form.
She looks so beautiful when she sleeps… WAIT! Where did THAT thought come from!? Danny thought, disrupting his stupor.
Glancing at his classmates to settle his nerves, Danny transformed into his ghost form. It felt incredibly odd doing so in front of his ignorant classmates, even if they were practically unconscious. He willed the oddness of it away, and entered Sam's dream intangibly.
The cafeteria was packed, as always. The students were sneaking glances at their hero, Danny Phantom, who was sitting in his human form at a table where Dash had just offered a seat for him. Sam found having Danny's secret known was great. No one beat him up anymore, whether it was out of respect, admiration, or fear. Sam was happier about this than she ever expected to be. Sure, she had hated him getting beat up before but she never realized just how much she despised it. Of course he had always been able to fight back, yet chose not to, saying 'if it's not me, it would be someone else.' She admired this selflessness, yet hated it at the same time. He was always getting hurt and she cared for him. A lot. More than any regular person could. This was because of her crush on him, and now that she was his boyfriend, she was happier than ever.
She waited until the boys were finished talking, she had to make an entrance, didn't she?
Danny hovered invisible above the dream. He refused to acknowledge what the fact that Sam was having the same dream as his again actually meant. He didn't want to do what he did last time. That would be no fun. Plus, this time he wasn't fighting an insane ghost of the night. He also technically wasn't too short on time, so he deserved to have a bit of fun. He watched for the perfect way to get as much fun as possible from this. Danny then remembered that the Fright Night would appear in a minute. Danny smiled evilly as he flew invisibly and intangibly outside. He saw the Fright Night riding through the air and flew to meet up with him before he got in range of the other Danny's ghost sense.
Danny overshadowed the Fright Night, gaining power over his body much easier than it would have been in the real world because it was a dream, and rode on the Fright Night's horse toward the school. Invisibly, he rapidly entered the cafeteria, giving a loud battle cry.
Everyone turned to Sam's dream Danny. He looked confused.
"What?" he asked the students who were staring expectantly at him. "Why are you looking at me?"
"Because you're the Danny Phantom!" Dash exclaimed. "Duh!"
Danny was shocked for a moment, just now realizing why everything was so different. They knew his secret! He awkwardly turned toward Danny-Knight.
"Goin' Ghost!" Danny exclaimed, a bit unsurely. At cheers from his classmates, however, he accepted their knowledge of his secret and flew at Danny-Knight.
Before dream Danny could reach him, Danny-Knight did something no occupant in the room expected. He transformed into a Danny Phantom form of the Fright Knight, gaining an emblem on his chest and gaining patterns of silver and black on his armor. Dream Danny faltered, staring in shock at the Phantom-Knight.
"I'm Danny Phantom!" Phantom-Knight yelled, getting off his horse, and stomping up to dream Danny. He then held out his fist and looked down at dream Danny.
"Huh?" dream Danny questioned.
"We're going to play rock, paper, scissors to prove who the real Danny is," Phantom-Knight explained in an exasperated voice.
Dream Danny raised an eyebrow but put out his fist anyway.
Phantom-Knight then blasted green ecto-energy at dream Danny, sending him backwards into the cafeteria wall.
Phantom-Knight created an invisible clone (taking the form of regular Danny Phantom) and sent it intangibly and invisibly to overshadow Dash. Dash stiffened before gaining green eyes. He then transformed into Dash Phantom and sped forward.
"No! I'M the real Danny Phantom!" Dash Phantom yelled. He then blasted Phantom-Knight who pretended to be unconscious. "I just saved you all! That means I am the real Danny Phantom!"
It finally became too confusing and just too much for Sam. She dropped her lunch tray from where she was standing and screamed.
Danny flew out of Sam's dream, landing on the Ghost Zone's natural path in a heap of laughter. It was definitely worth it to take the longer route and have some fun. Sam's confusion was what really made Danny laugh, as well as the faces she made during the whole thing.
Danny slowly rose from the path and turned towards Sam. She was still sleeping, but the helmet was gone. Shards of it were scattered around where her head rested. Danny smiled, now knowing that when he destroys the helmets of those who don't know his secret, they will stay asleep and not witness him entering others' dreams intangibly.
Danny then moved to stand beside Tucker. He sure hoped that Tucker wasn't having the same dream. If he was, then he would definitely make Tucker pay. However, he was half hoping it was the same so that he could guiltlessly mess with his best friend's mind.
Danny turned intangible and jumped into Tucker's dream.
Tucker was sitting on a couch happily drinking chocolate milk. Two copies of Star sat on either side of him, leaning against his side. Everything in the room seemed to be electronic. There was a giant TV that Tucker and the two Stars were watching Dead Teacher V on. High tech futuristic video games were scattered across the room. There were even some futuristic devices that Danny didn't recognize. He guessed that the invention in the corner was either a cloning device (which would explain the two Stars) or a teleportation device. Ignoring the urge to go find out which one it was, Danny invisibly flew behind the couch. He watched his dream self walk by… Still as a janitor…
'Oh Tuck,' real Danny thought, 'you are going to have one crazy dream because of that!'
Danny flew intangibly to a nearby fridge that he spotted and grabbed as many cartons of chocolate milk as he could carry.
He then flew behind the couch that Tucker was seated on. No longer intangible so that the milk cartons would be tangible, but still invisible Danny took the first milk carton and made a tiny ecto blast using just one finger. He shot it into the side of the carton, allowing milk to spill out. He then threw it to the other side of the couch. Immediately after it left his hand, it became visible, losing his ghostly influence on it. It landed on the coffee table, splattering chocolate milk everywhere. Tucker yelped in surprise, quickly trying to clean his expensive new clothes (though not too different from his old clothes) which had acquired a very small amount of chocolate milk on them.
Those clothes are going to be completely ruined by the time I'm through with you, Danny thought happily.
He then took three more cartons of milk and using three different fingers blasted a small hole through the side of each of them. Danny then launched each of them onto the opposite side of the couch. Each one hit a decent target. One hit the expensive couch cushions, one hit Star's fancy shirt, and the other hit Tucker right on the head. Danny stifled a laugh and launched another four rounds, ruining Tucker's outfit.
Danny was no where near done, however. He flew back to the fridge and grabbed a larger amount of cartons of chocolate milk. Using his finger to shoot a steady, low powered beam of ecto energy, Danny removed the entire top of eighteen different cartons. He also gleefully realized that he managed to ruin part of the floor as well. He then invisibly flew above Tucker and the two Star's heads and poured all of them down on to them. It appeared to them as chocolate milk appearing out of no where. Danny then let all the empty cartons fall onto the trio's heads.
Dream Tucker was about to yell that dream Danny was fired, expecting it to be him using his ghost powers, but just at that moment, dream Danny entered the room. He had heard the commotion (the trio's surprised and angry yells) and expected there to be a mess to clean up. He was right. The white carpet and couch were completely ruined and Tucker, Star, and Star were completely soaked.
Danny then flew back to the fridge, made two invisible clones, grabbed as many cartons as the three of them could carry (emptying the fridge) and raced outside the room, grabbing two large buckets off of dream janitor Danny's cleaning cart. They efficiently poured all of the chocolate milk into the two buckets. Danny then relieved himself of one of the clones. He and the clone that was left positioned themselves above the door. They tilted the buckets to the point of spilling, but waited for the door to open. As dream Tucker stomped out the door to go shower and change while dream Danny cleaned up, the two invisible real Danny's poured the two large buckets of chocolate milk onto the already enraged Tucker. He yelled angrily and whipped his head up, only to find he was glaring at nothing.
Real Danny was already starting act two of his plan. He flew around the mansion quickly to see what he could mess with. He stumbled upon many rooms full of electronics as well as what had to be Tucker's room. However, best of all, he discovered a room dedicated entirely to chocolate milk. There was apparently a hose system running throughout the entire mansion with a sole purpose of transporting chocolate milk. Even more in Danny's favor was that, because it was a dream, the main container that held the chocolate milk never ran out. He smiled at the ingenuity of his master plan. He flew to Tucker's bedroom, quickly noticing the hose now that he knew what to look for. He quickly switched it on, allowing it to overflow out of the 'sink' that was positioned to catch any milk that spilled. Danny flew around the mansion turning on as many of these chocolate milk hoses as he could easily spot.
He then headed outside, finding a regular garden hose. Multiple hoses were spread about, providing for the gardeners the water they needed to keep the massive and beautiful garden looking wonderful.
Danny turned these hoses on, intangibly placing them in each of Tucker's cars so that the hose would be coming through the wall of the car, allowing nothing to escape. The part of the hose in the actual wall of the car automatically remained intangible so that it could stay in the wall of the car. Danny of course had to blast a hole in the roof of the extremely expensive cars so that they wouldn't explode from the building pressure and hurt someone… Even though anyone who got hurt would merely be a dream person.
Satisfied with his flooding of all the MANY expensive cars that he could find, Danny flew back through the walls, waiting for Tucker to open the door to his room. Once Tucker had finished showering and was in an outfit that looked even more expensive than the previous one, (Danny smiled evilly) he began walking back down the hall by his bedroom.
"What the…?" Tucker muttered, noticing the chocolate milk leaking underneath the door frame of his room, which held priceless items, by the way.
Tucker opened the door only to find a wave of chocolate milk rush out into the hall. He ran back down the hall and past the bathroom to find chocolate milk steadily flowing out of open doors all over the next few halls.
"Sir?" dream Danny called from downstairs.
"What!?" Tucker yelled irritably.
"…You may want to look outside…" dream Danny replied.
Tucker ran downstairs through deepening puddles of chocolate milk and to the yard where he could see what his janitor was talking about. His jaw dropped at the sight of his ruined cars (which Danny decided to blow up a bit to add to the damage that they took while Tucker was running through the halls).
Real Danny then floated down from where he was hovering contentedly above Tucker moments ago. He landed on his feet next to his friend smiling a huge smile. He then changed his expression into the most serious one he could and turned visible. Tucker jumped and yelped, and Danny struggled to refrain from smiling.
'I'm your janitor!?' Danny exclaimed.
Tucker screamed loudly.
Danny flew out of Tucker and almost rammed into the helmet-less Sam. He looked over at Tucker to see that the helmet had broken off. Danny began to laugh and fell to the ground, wishing he had had a camera to take a picture of Tucker's horrified face.
"Tuck, you must be seriously obsessed with chocolate milk to have that milk system running through your dream mansion," Danny muttered with a smile to his sleeping friend, even though he knew that Tucker couldn't hear him. "Oh, and by the way, you totally deserved what just happened!"
Danny sighed happily before remembering that he still had more dreams to mess with. Turning to Jazz, he turned intangible and entered her dream.
The room was outstanding! It was huge, with bookshelves lining two full walls. The wall holding the door had been painted beautiful blue color, the same color as Jazz's headband. The wall opposite the door was painted the same blue, and contained large windows with short bookcases beneath them. Jazz sat in a very comfortable looking chair behind a large, organized desk near the wall with the windows. On it was a stack of packets, each with a name and a number written in pen atop the front page. Upon closer inspection, Danny identified the papers as tests.
'Really Jazz? Still a Yale professor?' Danny thought while shaking his invisible head.
Suddenly the door to the office burst open, making Danny jump and almost reveal that he was in the room. A young woman stepped through the doorway, opening her mouth to speak.
"I thought I told you to knock! You almost gave me a heart attack!" Jazz exclaimed lightheartedly before the woman had the chance to speak.
"Sorry, Jazz," The woman apologized. She stepped backwards and closed the door. A loud knock sounded through the wooden door.
"Come in," Jazz replied to the sound and smiled as the woman walked back into the room.
"Ah, Jade, what brings you to my office on this fine day?" Jazz asked the woman who Danny figured out was Jade. Both girls were silent for a minute before laughing.
"Your book has been published!" Jade exclaimed holding up a hardback book labeled 'Advanced Psychiatry: Everything needed to become a Psychiatrist.' Jazz smiled broadly and hugged Jade.
Danny then became board of listening to their conversation and began to plan an interesting way to wake Jazz up. Danny remembered the first time he had to wake Jazz up… her being married to Dash… Where was Dash?
At that exact moment, Dash entered the large office holding an envelope.
"A letter just arrived for you, Professor," Dash stated, handing her the letter and then walking away. While Jazz was busy opening the letter that was apparently important for some reason that Danny didn't want to investigate, Danny overshadowed Dash. Jazz and Jade were too busy reading the letter that they didn't notice when Dash stiffened.
"Jazz, there's one other thing," green-eyed 'Dash' stated, turning around.
"What is it?" Jazz asked, looking up from the letter.
"Could you come with me?" 'Dash' questioned.
Jazz glanced at Jade and handed her the letter.
Jazz and 'Dash' exited the room. 'Dash' lead them down a hallway and into the first empty room that he spotted.
He sat down at a long table that was in the center of the room. Noting the many chairs, Danny guessed that they were in a conference room. Jazz sat opposite him and stared at him expectantly. Dash turned grim.
"What is it? Has something happened to Danny?" Jazz asked frantically, noticing his expression.
"What? No! Wait.. Who's Danny?" 'Dash' asked.
"You know, my brother, the one that you bullied throughout middle school and high school?" Jazz replied exasperatedly.
"Your brother? You don't have a brother," 'Dash' stated. Danny tried to make him look confused as Jazz continued.
"Then who's Danny Phantom?" Jazz argued.
"Danny Phantom? Who is… Oh!" 'Dash' pondered aloud. Suddenly he stood up. Two silvery light blue rings appeared at his waist, hovering for a moment before splitting in two. One ring traveled up his body while the other moved down his body. In their wake, the rings left what looked like a wanna-be Danny Phantom. Dash looked nothing like Phantom, seeing as he was much bigger and had more muscles. The only resemblance was the white hair, the glowing green eyes, and the black and silver suit. The differences in the suit were the size of it, as well as the chest area of the suit was missing the white DP emblem.
Jazz gasped and almost fell out of her chair.
"You meant Dash Phantom, right?" 'Dash' asked with a proud smile. Jazz was at a loss of words for a moment, but then decided to go along with it. She did decide, however, that if anything else was too crazy she would scream.
"Yes, of course I did," she responded. "Wait… Then why were you so grim a few moments ago?"
Dash looked confused for a moment before realization dawned on his face.
"Oh, right," he said sadly, "Our wedding has been postponed another week because I was incapable of stopping that foul ghost from destroying the church."
That was it for Jazz. She screamed.
Danny was ejected from Jazz's mind as the helmet shattered. Danny smiled.
"Three down…" he said before looking around and sighing, "a lot more to go."
Danny wasted no more time and intangibly entered the next person's mind… his dad, Jack Fenton.
Real Danny found himself entering a gruesome scene. Strapped to a table was Danny Phantom himself and, scalpel in hand, Jack was dissecting him. The worse part was that Danny Phantom was still alive… It was a vivisection.
Real Danny had to turn away to refrain himself from throwing up at the sight of his own father cutting into the dream version of Danny Phantom. Maddie was by his side the whole time, taking notes on every detail.
Danny decided to just get this one over quickly, and overshadowed Maddie.
"Jack let's take a break," 'Maddie' suggested. Jack took Danny's disgust and nervousness as his wife not actually wanting to stop dissecting their enemy.
"But Mads, we both want to keep dissecting him! Why take a break!" he whined.
"Come on Jack," 'Maddie' ordered. "We've been down here long enough."
"AWWWW—" Jack began.
"You can brag to them about what we've… accomplished," 'Maddie' interrupted.
Jack's face lit up and he raced upstairs to rinse off any excess ectoplasm, and when he was halfway up the stairs he yelled something that sounded like 'Stay there, Phantom!'. Real Danny quickly made two duplicates race upstairs and overshadow his dream self as well as Jazz.
Then Danny walked upstairs, attempting to ignore his dream self. Dinner had apparently been pre-made, and unlike all normal dinners at the Fenton household, it was not glowing. Leave it to Jack's mind to have a dream where the food is actually edible and delicious.
'Maddie' took off her gloves too make sure there was no ectoplasm on her anymore and heated up the meal. When it was done, she called to the rest of the family that dinner was ready.
Jack raced downstairs in an identical orange jumpsuit to the one he was wearing before he changed. The overshadowed kids came down at a more leisurely pace. Real Danny looked at them, acknowledging the fact that he still wasn't very good at duplication, and surely couldn't hold two clones for an extended period of time.
"Kids, guess what!" Jack exclaimed. Not waiting for them to reply, he continued, "We finally captured the ghost boy! He's in the lab! We're dissecting him!"
"WHAT!?" the two overshadowed kids exclaimed. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT! LET HIM GO!"
Real Danny had hoped that Jack would be shocked enough by his kids' reactions, but apparently he was wrong.
"Huh, I thought you'd be happy that I—er—we caught that ghostly menace! But… I guess he brainwashed you like he did to most of the town! Don't worry kids! I'll get you thinking straight again!" Jack shouted. Although Jack was slightly surprised, it apparently was not enough.
'Maddie' left the table, muttering something about forgetting to change her jumpsuit. Danny was not planning on changing into a new jumpsuit, however. As soon as he was upstairs, he turned Maddie intangible, flying down to the lab. 'Maddie' then pressed a button on a panel, releasing Phantom from the metal cuffs that restrained him. 'Maddie' then picked the limp, unconscious form up and dropped him into the Ghost Zone, knowing that he was merely a figment of Jack's imagination. 'Maddie' silently used ecto energy to break the cuffs on the table, making it appear that Phantom had escaped on his own. Flying intangibly back through the floors of the house, 'Maddie' came back down the stairs to where Jack was sitting with the overshadowed kids. Glancing at the kids and then Jack, Danny quickly called his clones out of existence.
"Jack, are you ready to head back downstairs?" 'Maddie' asked her husband.
Jack leaped from his chair and raced downstairs after giving a reply of a very enthusiastic "YES!"
'Maddie' followed, knowing that Jack should be shocked to find Phantom missing.
"Mads," Jack called as she calmly strode down the steps, "Phantom's gone!"
Surprised that he wasn't shocked enough to wake up, 'Maddie' entered the room, curious to see what Jack thought of the whole ordeal. Danny was shocked to find Jack bouncing happily by the table.
"… And you aren't surprised? Or sad?" 'Maddie' asked in disbelief. Jack took Danny's disbelief at how unfazed he was acting as disappointment that they couldn't finish dissecting the ghost boy.
"Nah," Jack said. "We got enough ectoplasm samples to last us a lifetime… Besides, he probably won't be able to exist for too much longer. Unless he is able to find a source of ectoplasm to replace the amount that he lost, but I don't think he'll find enough in the time that he has left."
Danny was beginning to get annoyed. His father was so optimistic that he didn't find many things very shocking. Unless… Oh, he hoped this plan would be the one that would work…
"Well… Jack… I released Phantom," 'Maddie' said, trying to sound hesitant instead of hopeful.
"Oh, don't worry Mads!" Jack exclaimed. "The kids were putting quite a lot of pressure on us, and we both wanted to make them happy! You just did what you thought was right!"
'Well, my plan of overshadowing Jazz and my dream self just backfired,' Danny thought.
After giving his wife a bone crushing hug, Jack went to analyze the samples they collected. Danny had one last plan that he desperately hoped would work.
"Jack, why don't you go spend some time with the kids, I'll be right up. I just need to clean up a bit first," 'Maddie' suggested as a distraction for Jack.
"Great idea! We'll have a movie night! We haven't had one in FOREVER!" Jack exclaimed over enthusiastically. Danny silently agreed with that statement… If not for the ghosts, then maybe he actually COULD enjoy some time with his family…
While Jack raced upstairs, Danny glanced at the portal. It was Jack's greatest ghost related accomplishment. The thing he was most proud of out of all of the things in his ghost career… Now Danny planned to blow it up.
Danny located the ecto-filtrator with ease and aimed his hand at it. Keeping the ecto blast in his hand for a moment to let it gain power, he shot the blast straight at it. He created an ecto shield around himself to protect him from the blast—it was a dream. No one would notice if his clothes were fine after the explosion!
Jack and the kids heard the blast and came rushing downstairs. By that time, the portal had exploded, almost everything in the lab was ruined (especially things by the portal), and 'Maddie' had lowered herself to the ground, pretending to have fallen during the blast.
"Mads, are you okay!?" Jack exclaimed. "I swear I changed that thing a few months ago!"
"Yes, Jack, I'm fine," 'Maddie' replied. "But the portal… It's ruined."
"Maddie, all I care about right now is whether or not you're fine. I'll worry about the portal and everything else later," Jack responded. A sad look appeared on his face at the sight of the portal as well as a few tears, but that was all, and that was also typical Jack (or would be if the portal was ever destroyed). Danny had hoped that it would be sudden enough to break Nocturne's helmet, but apparently not. Danny had finally run out of ideas to wake Jack up.
"Well, I guess we can still go watch that movie," 'Maddie' said sadly, which Jack took as sadness for the loss of their portal, which he could wholeheartedly agree with.
"Alright!" Jack yelled, helping 'Maddie' up, checking quickly for injuries, and then almost magically bouncing back to good old happy, enthusiastic Jack.
'Great,' Danny thought, 'back to square one.'
Jack and the kids started watching a movie. What movie? Danny could hardly care less. He guessed it was one of the Spiderman movies based on what he could hear from the kitchen where he was pondering what to try next. Suddenly the most simple and random thought came to him as he stared at the refrigerator.
"Jack?" 'Maddie' called.
"Yeah?" Jack responded.
"Would you like some fudge?" 'Maddie' questioned.
"YES!" Jack exclaimed and bounded into the room, not bothering to check if Maddie had been planning to bring it into the living room.
Jack shuffled through the fridge, searching for fudge. 'Maddie' pretended to be occupied with the popcorn which was why she was in the kitchen in the first place instead of the living room.
"Mads, where'd ya put the fudge?" Jack questioned.
'Maddie' moved over to the fridge. Danny pretended to look through the fridge to find the fudge.
"I swear I bought some at the store the other day…" 'Maddie' muttered to make Jack uncertain. It was working. Danny could see out of the corner of his eye that Jack was uncertain of whether or not they actually had fudge… Jack was sure hoping they did.
Turning to Jack, 'Maddie' said, "Sorry Jack, I thought we had some, but I guess not."
Jack looked horror stricken.
"No fudge?" he questioned.
"No fudge," she confirmed.
"NOOOOOOOO!" Jack screamed.
Danny finally found himself on the natural path again. His father no longer wore Nocturne's incredibly annoying dream helmet.
"Finally," he said, "I was getting tired of overshadowing the dream version of my mom. Speaking of Mom… I guess I'll destroy her dream helmet now…"
With that he entered his mother's dream.
The Fenton household was relatively the same. The one difference was that it was much cleaner than it normally would have been. Maddie was in the kitchen cooking something that… actually smelled incredible. Danny could smell it from the living room as the aroma danced throughout the house. It seemed to taunt any who smelled it, calling to them, daring to find the source of the wonderful smell.
Invisibly, Danny floated into the kitchen, spying his mother creating the beginnings of what would become a delicious meatloaf. Even more wonderful, it wasn't glowing and didn't seem to remotely resemble any ghostly evil meat monster.
The front door suddenly opened and dream Danny came in with Sam and Tucker at his sides, all three laughing happily.
"Danny, Mr. Lancer called. You were late to class again. Why are you always running so late?" Maddie scolded.
Dream Danny rubbed his neck awkwardly before speaking, "Sorry, Mom. Some kid gave me a hard time before class began. I'll try my best to get to class on time."
Real Danny released a breath he didn't realize he was holding. Of course his dream self wouldn't reveal his secret! His mom didn't know his secret, and therefore her dream couldn't include all the real facts.
"Alright, sweetie. Thanks for telling me the truth," Maddie responded.
'The truth,' Danny thought. 'Her dream doesn't involve me actual being on time to class, although she would obviously like that to happen. It instead involves me being honest… She knows I haven't been completely honest to her?… No wonder everyone calls me clueless.'
"So, what new ghost weapon have you made today?" dream Danny asked curiously.
Maddie smiled and explained, "It's a weapon that tracks specific ghost ecto signatures. I hope to improve it to make it so that we don't need a sample of the chosen ghost's ectoplasm."
Dream Danny was looking at her with rapt attention.
"Wow," dream Danny said while smiling, "how does it work?"
Real Danny tuned out the conversation as he pondered the exchange between the two. Danny had always thought that his parents only wanted their kids to follow in their footsteps as ghost hunters. Instead, what Danny was witnessing made him believe that his mom wanted him to be interested in their job, but wanted him to choose what he wanted to be… After all, in his mother's dream, Danny wasn't insane about ghosts or asking if he could try the invention out.
Danny suddenly snapped back to the what was going on when his mom asked where Jazz was.
"She's at the library, like always, reading more about psychology," Danny replied.
Yes, that confirmed that his mother, at least, wanted Jazz and him to choose their own paths.
Suddenly an idea struck Danny… It would be slightly risky towards his secret, but it would surely wake his mother up.
Flying outside, he landed on the ground and opened the door… In his ghost form.
"Sorry I'm late, Mom!" Real Danny called, rushing into the kitchen to see his mom's shocked face. "There was a ghost attack that I had to take care of! … What? Is there something on my face? What are you staring at?"
Maddie screamed.
Danny was glad that he didn't have to spend as much time inside his mom's dream as his dad's. Although, his plan probably wouldn't have been shocking enough to wake her up if it hadn't surprised her so much.
Danny glanced at her head to make sure that the helmet had broken off. Yes, it was fractured and scattered across the ground near her.
Danny quickly turned to the next person that he needed to break the helmets off of. The next person was… Dash?
"Great," Danny muttered, "Let's get this over with."
It was the end of a football game… A professional, end of the season game. The time was running out and as a few seconds remained, one of the players threw a phenomenal throw that allowed his team to win. It was none other than Casper High's biggest bully, Dash Baxter.
After the game a party was held and Dash soon met up with… Jazz?
Danny looked on curiously as Jazz walked up to the star player. Dash hugged her, which made Danny's eyes almost explode.
"Hey guys!" Dash called to his teammates. "This is my girlfriend, Jazz Fenton!"
A series of "Ooooooh!"s and whistles followed his statement and Jazz blushed. Dash punched his nearest teammate who laughed.
"What did you expect, Dash, with such a lovely lady as Jazz?" the teammate questioned after he finished laughing.
Dash just mock glared at the man who had spoken.
"Who wants to go beat up Fenton!?" Dash asked suddenly.
His plan was interrupted, however, when none other than dream Danny Phantom entered the room. Real Danny proceeded to face palm silently.
"Phantom, my friend, good to see ya could make it!" Dash exclaimed happily.
Phantom returned his smile and congratulated Dash on his excellent throw.
Real Danny had had enough and overshadowed the fake Phantom who stiffened slightly.
Dash noticed and asked, "Phantom, you alright?"
Thinking quickly real Danny replied, "Yeah, it's just that I remembered something…"
"Well, what is it?"
"I've got a new friend… and sidekick…" Danny really hoped that in his dream, Dash was Phantom's sidekick.
"What!?" Dash exclaimed.
'Good,' Danny thought.
"Sorry, Dash." Danny quickly created a duplicate, knowing that he couldn't hold it for long. He had used his duplication powers too much in such a short span of time, but it was necessary to wake people from their dreams. He sent the clone outside the room to wait as Danny Fenton.
"Who is your knew sidekick?"
Hoping that Dash wouldn't get the urge to beat him up later for this, even though it was a dream and technically wasn't real, Danny made his clone walk in.
"Danny Fenton."
Dash screamed in rage and surprise.
"Oh, great," Danny muttered once he was out of the dream. "Dash may be stupid, but hopefully he isn't stupid enough to think that it would be my fault for something that happened in his dream… Which would technically be true… But I had to do it!"
Danny turned to the next person who's dream he had to enter.
"Oh, no," Danny muttered. Hesitantly he entered the dream of none other than Paulina.
The house was huge, even for a mansion! Danny quickly flew through the mansion to get a sense of what Paulina's dream was about. There were many rooms throughout the building. Danny was able to decipher that the first floor of the mansion was divided into parts. The left half of the building contained all things related to shoes. The right half contained all things related to clothes. The middle was all about make up. Above the middle section was a second floor where Paulina's huge room was. She had the largest bed in existence as well as three teleporters. Unlike Tucker's dream where the teleporter/cloning device was more unnoticeable and hard to identify, the three in Paulina's dream were over exaggerated and easy to identify. One had a picture of a pink high heel, the next of a fashionable pink shirt, and the last of pink lipstick. Danny could easily tell that they were easy ways for Paulina to change, put on shoes, and put on makeup without having to trek all across the mansion.
In the shoe section of the giant house, Danny found that there was a separate room for each kind of shoe, which were then organized by brand and color. Paulina seemed to have every brand of every kind of shoe in every color possible. Danny admitted that he was impressed… This girl had quite the imagination.
In the clothes section, it was divided even more by kind of clothing. There were skirt, shirt, dress, and undergarment (which Danny didn't linger in) sections. These groups were organized even further into separate rooms by other specifications, such as long-sleeved shirts and short-sleeved shirts. Then these rooms were organized by brand and color. Again, Danny found more colors and brands than he thought possible. Paulina had everything.
The makeup really surprised Danny. He didn't know there were enough kinds, brands, and colors of makeup to fill a whole section of a mansion's first floor. The layout of the makeup was laid out so that everything to do with eyes were in the same section, anything to do with lips were in the same area, etc. Finding too many kinds of makeup for Danny to comprehend, he gave up looking around and instead went looking for Paulina.
He finally found her on the second floor of the house in what looked like a living room. She was chatting with a group of people who, judging by what they were wearing, were also extremely rich.
Danny had to do a double take when he saw Dash handing out glasses to everyone and pouring what appeared to be wine.
"Huh, I wonder where my boyfriend is…" Paulina trailed off as Danny Phantom bursted through the door.
"Sorry I'm late, Sugar," Phantom apologized, "but a ghost attacked and I had to take care of it."
"No problem, you being such a strong, wonderful superhero takes up a lot of your time… but you always make time for me," Paulina said dreamily, batting her long eyelashes at him.
Dream Danny blushed slightly at her compliments and smiled at his girlfriend. Real Danny took that moment to quickly overshadow dream Danny, for Paulina had turned to Dash to ask for another glass for her wonderful boyfriend. While she was turned away, she missed seeing Phantom stiffen.
"So, Danny," Paulina continued, "you said you had an important thing to say to me?"
Startled, Danny realized that dream Danny had probably been planning to propose. Danny struggled to find something else to say—anything else…
"Uh… yeah… I don't think this is working out… you know… us? I know you won't… take this well… but I think I need some time to myself… uh… I mean… some space, you know? We can't be together anymore… I thought it would work out… I … wanted to wait and see… but… uh… I don't think this relationship is working…" Danny rambled unsurely. Truthfully, he felt that he didn't do too bad for coming up with the breakup on the spot, but oh well.
There was silence in the room. The people at the table were giving Danny very… odd looks… They seemed to think he was naive or something.
Paulina burst out laughing. That was NOT what he was hoping for…
"Oh, Danny… Danny, Danny, Danny… You silly ghost boy! HAHAHA!" with that said, Paulina flew up from her seat at the table, glided over to where the stunned teen stood, kissed him briefly on the cheek, and danced out of the room.
"…What?" Danny wondered.
"No one breaks up with Paulina, dude," Dash stated dryly.
"What?" Danny asked.
"No one breaks up with her," Dash explained. "Believe me, when I was dating her, I tried. I ended up having to wait until she broke up with me." At the looks he received, Dash added, "What? It wasn't too long! If it had taken her any longer, I would have made sure that we were no longer a couple! But, dude, she's had a crush on you forever. No matter what you do, Paulina will always get what she wants. She lives in a world where everything goes her way. And Phantom, you are what she wants. I don't think that is ever going to change… So have fun being stuck with Paulina for the rest of your lifer—er—afterlife."
Danny groaned. He decided that he would have to take drastic measures to wake Paulina up.
"Alright, Dash come with me," Danny commanded, walking towards the door.
"Where are we going?" Dash asked from behind him.
"I'm going to prove you wrong," Danny stated determinedly.
Everything was set up. Danny had everything in place. He even managed to find a golden chair in Paulina's mansion (you could find practically anything in there). Of course, it wasn't real gold, but Paulina wasn't bright enough to figure that out. Paulina had left the house to go shopping (something that she obviously did all the time) except what Paulina DIDN'T have, Danny would never know. He was ready when she came back.
"I'm back!" Paulina shouted.
"Nice to have you home!" Danny called running forward, smiling, and completely lying. Although he was starting to get pretty excited to see Paulina's reaction to what he had in store for her. "I have a surprise that I've called the whole town of Amity Park to come see!"
Danny had been surprised to learn that they were still in Amity Park. He never would have thought that another mansion could fit in the town, but hey—in a dream, anything is possible.
He lead the squealing Paulina up the stairs to the large meeting room (for occasions such as this one). All of the normal rooms (if you could call a giant meeting room 'normal') were built upstairs because of all the clothes, shoes, and makeup being kept downstairs.
Danny led Paulina to sit in the very front row in an especially comfy chair to make her FEEL special.
Danny stood up at the front of the room. Of course, since it was Paulina's dream, everyone thought he was amazing, and all the girls were jealous of Paulina. This made Paulina feel extremely proud and practically gave her the right to brag and tease every young lady who wanted to be his girlfriend.
"I have called you all together for a very important reason," Danny called to the eager town. Everyone but Danny and Dash were expecting Danny to finally propose to his girlfriend… They were utterly mistaken.
"As your hero, I have the right to pick the most trustworthy, responsible, and rightful leader of this town, and likely the whole world!" At this Paulina sat up straighter in her seat and looked haughtily at everyone else who thought they were good enough to share the same air as her.
Danny whipped the sheet off of a golden chair that was revealed to the awaiting audience. The gasped at the beauty of the chair which Danny, Dash, and a few fashion savvy servants had decorated.
"I call Paulina to stand beside me for this wonderful ceremony!"
Paulina practically sprinted to hold lovingly onto his arm. He called one of the servants forward who held a beautifully designed crown. Paulina barely held in a squeal at how marvelous it looked… Oh wouldn't it look great upon her beautiful head…
"I now ask your new leader to sit upon the throne…" Danny called.
Paulina was ready to step forward and assume her rightful place upon the throne as soon as Danny would just call her name for all to hear and admire…
"Dash Baxter!" Danny called proudly.
Dash came up from where he was sitting, also at the front of the seated and now very confused audience.
Dash gracefully bowed his head to accept the crown from the stunned servant before sitting upon his golden throne.
Paulina finally registered what happened… And screamed.
Danny wished that he hadn't been there to witness the ear piercing scream. Danny then laughed, remembering the look on Paulina's face—the look of pure shock that slowly turned into rage.
Danny turned to the next person whose dream he had to enter. It was Kwan.
Turning intangible, Danny prepared himself for the worst.
Danny was in a relatively normal sized house, still bigger than most, but clearly not a mansion. On the inside, it was clear that whoever occupied the home had a quite decent amount of money. The chairs were large and comfy, there was a large flat screen TV, and many other electronics scattered throughout the house.
Danny realized that there was a dog in the house who began to bark as the door knob on the front door turned. Kwan walked in and the dog began to wag his tail furiously as she ran over to see her master.
"Lily!" Kwan exclaimed happily as he reached to pat his golden retriever. This was easier said than done, for all the dog seemed to want to do was lick her master's hand. Kwan laughed at his dog's behavior as he sat on the couch and the dog leaped up to lick his face. Her master laughed again and patted her happily as she began to settle down and rested her head on his leg. She sighed and closed her beautiful brown eyes in content. Kwan smiled and spoke to her.
"We saved three dogs and a cat today," Kwan said. "Two dogs and four cats were adopted today, as well. The owners seemed like the perfect matches for the companion that they chose." He sighed. "I love my job."
Danny looked at him in surprise. He knew that Kwan liked animals, but he never expected the jock to actually get a job helping animals.
Kwan looked at the clock on the wall and smiled.
"About time I get ready for the big game, eh Lily?" Kwan questioned his adorable dog.
She yipped in response.
Within ten minutes, Kwan had arrived at the field. He greeted Dash with a high five.
'So they are still friends…' Danny thought. He had followed Kwan invisibly to the field and was deciding the best way to wake Kwan up.
The game went on normally, Danny flying around above, enjoying the freedom it gave him. He was glad to finally be in his ghost form again. He missed flying freely through Amity Park's skies at night, whether it was during his patrol of the city or just for the fun of it. Flying had always been his favorite part of getting ghost powers… Other than the ability to protect innocent bystanders from harm.
Looking down at the game, Danny noticed that it was almost over. Did he really enjoy flying so much that he missed practically the whole game? He decided that he had to get his class out of the Ghost Zone, if not for their own safety or the safety of his secret, for the ability to get away from everyone and fly freely. He felt much to restricted with everyone being with him. He seemed to be chained to the ground, unable to take to the sky because of his class's presence. He felt trapped, he realized, being limited to his human self.
Danny decided that he had had enough time in the freedom of anti-gravity and flew down to the field. Enacting his plan, which required the score to be relatively equal, which it now was, and for it to be the end of the game, which it was, Danny overshadowed Dash.
Using his ghostly powers, but not transforming Dash into a ghost version of himself, Danny made Dash fly as soon as he was passed the ball. Flying a good twenty feet above the ground, 'Dash' flew to the opposite side of the field, scoring a touchdown for the other team. Danny grinned, Dash, the star player, had just FLEW to the wrong side of the field, loosing the game!
Kwan was silent for a minute in shock… Then he screamed.
Danny was launched out of Kwan's dream. Without any delay or reflection, Danny glanced at Kwan, and upon spotting the shattered helmet, he jumped into the next dream… Mr. Lancer's.
The classroom was the exact same. Mr. Lancer was teaching class as always… but for once, everyone was listening. The class was apparently just ending, and Lancer wrapped up his lecture with, "Any questions?"
With no questions to be asked, the class was dismissed and Lancer began to organize the stack of papers that were handed in to him. Mr. Lancer then packed the papers into his bag, knowing fully well how long it would take him to finish reading and assessing the essays.
Exiting the classroom, Mr. Lancer walked off with Danny invisibly following. He seemed to have a set place that he needed to be, for he seemed to be rushing to get there on time. Danny curiously flew behind him, wondering why Mr. Lancer was entering the gym.
Moments after Mr. Lancer entered, a group of students came noisily through the door. They were talking amongst themselves, but surprisingly, they quieted down immediately when the adult in the gym began to speak.
"Welcome to cheerleading! I have a class to teach later, so I'll have to leave early as per usual, so we need to begin immediately!" he exclaimed excitedly.
Startling Danny, the class began to cheer in enthusiasm. Stunned, Danny shook his head disbelievingly.
As Mr. Lancer instructed, the gathered students began immediately. Shuddering, Danny watched as Mr. Lancer demonstrated what he wanted the class to attempt. It was a series of jumps, shaking pompoms, twists, and turns. After he had presented the class with the assignment for the day, he went around to individual students, answering questions, making suggestions, and helping them perfect their performance.
Bored and somewhat scarred for life, Danny flew intangibly to the roof of the school, knowing where Mr. Lancer would be when he finished teaching those students cheerleading. Pondering what to shock Mr. Lancer with, Danny floated aimlessly about, enjoying the freedom people's dreams gave him once again.
After drifting for some time in which Danny was lost in thought, he flew back down to the school and floated invisibly and intangibly through the building. Finally, Danny stumbled upon Mr. Lancer's office.
Like practically everything in his classmates' dreams, Mr. Lancer's office was huge! Why did so many people have such large buildings/rooms in their dreams? The office had a large desk near the far wall along with some normal sized windows. The walls were lined with ceiling high bookcases. Danny was momentarily reminded of his sister's dream office. However, Mr. Lancer's office not only had book cases on the walls, but placed everywhere in the room. It looked like a giant library. There was a central path through the organized bookcases through which Danny was able to see the back wall. Danny glanced at the clock, seeing that Mr. Lancer's normal class would be starting soon.
Jerking his head slightly to get himself out of his stupor, Danny exited the office and headed for the classroom that he knew Mr. Lancer would be teaching in. He reached it at the same time that his classmates were all entering the room at. This lesson was for his class.
Dream Danny entered, laughing with his friends. They went to the back of the class, as usual. Real Danny noted that dream Danny didn't have any bruises or cuts, but then again, he shouldn't have been expecting any. Mr. Lancer had no knowledge of his ghost hunting, after all, and therefore his mind seemed to have no reason to make this dream Danny be unexplainably hurt.
The class began as usual and proceeded normally. Danny still had no idea how to shock Mr. Lancer yet. After a few more minutes of watching the attentive class, Danny finally got an idea.
He flew outside the classroom and became visible. He threw open the door and rushed in.
"Sorry I'm late, Mr. Lancer! You know, being a superhero and all, I get quite preoccupied sometimes."
Mr. Lancer stared at the ghost fighting superhero in front of him. Lancer's mind quickly adjusted the dream to fit the unexpected change, and soon the class had a knowing look instead of a surprised one. After glancing at his class, Mr. Lancer decided to go along with it and motioned the specter to his seat. Danny smiled and took the indicated seat that was right next to his best friend, Tucker.
Danny sent an invisible clone to Dash, overshadowing him.
"I CALL A SMART WAR!" 'Dash' exclaimed.
"What do you mean, Mr. Baxter?" Mr. Lancer asked.
"I mean that I challenge none other than Danny Phantom to a battle… A battle of smarts!"
Again, the dream adjusted. The class began to cheer.
"Alright, the topic for today was finished anyway…" Mr. Lancer said, silently eager to see how this turned out.
'Dash' smiled and pointed to Paulina.
"Paulina, you keep score on the whiteboard!"
"Alright," she said eagerly, and cleaned the whiteboard of Mr. Lancer's notes. She drew a line down the middle and wrote on one side, 'Dash' and on the other side, 'Phantom.'
With that, the war began.
"The first question goes to you, Mr. Baxter," Mr. Lancer, the questioner, began. "What is another name for the North Star?"
"Polaris," 'Dash' replied immediately. 'Dash' gained a tally mark on his side of the board.
"Yes. Phantom, the cause of what color fever was discovered in 1900?"
"Uh… Red?"
"I'm sorry, the answer was Yellow Fever." Phantom did not gain a point. "Dash, which state is called the volunteer state?"
"Tennessee." 'Dash' gained another point.
"Yes. Phantom, what does the 'F' in 'FBI' stand for?"
"Huh… Forever?"
"No. It's 'Federal.' Dash, what was the first planet to be discovered using the telescope? This was in 1781."
"Uranus."
"Yes. In which country was the AIDS virus first recognized?"
"… China?"
"No. The United States of America."
The battle continued, with the questions for Phantom slowly getting easier and the questions for 'Dash' slowly getting harder.
'Dash' missed barely any, while Phantom missed every single question. By the end of the battle, when Lancer turned around… he was incredibly surprised to see that Dash had beaten Phantom…
DASH HAD ACTUALLY BEATEN SOMEONE IN A BATTLE OF SMARTS!
Wait…
DASH HAD USED HIS BRAIN!
Lancer screamed in surprise and disbelief.
Danny was tossed unceremoniously onto the path. He laughed as he stood up, spotting the broken shards of Mr. Lancer's helmet. Then he turned to the next person who still had a helmet on… Mikey.
Already forming a plan based on what he was guessing the dream was about, Danny entered Mikey's dream.
Just as Danny had suspected, there was a lot of technology scattered throughout the large house. Mikey didn't have as many technological devices as Tucker had, and they certainly weren't as advanced, but the expensive machinery was there none the less. Much easier than Danny expected, he was able to locate Dash. Dash was carefully cleaning the screens of the technology. Danny was easily able to figure out that Dash was working for the boy he had used to pick on, though not as much as he picked on Danny.
Danny quickly overshadowed Dash and located a supply closet. Inside there were multiple tools to help in the repair of the machines for any possible number of scenarios that could occur. There were tools that were qualified enough to fix any part of the machine. Most of the supplies appeared to have a specific function that they were supposed to be used for. Ignoring most of the tools, 'Dash' found a rather large hammer and grabbed it.
Mikey was too busy tinkering with one of the machines to notice.
Danny, holding the large hammer as Dash, swung it wildly and slammed it down onto a machine. Mikey jumped and whipped around to stare at what must have appeared to be a crazy person running around smashing anything in sight… And that pretty much summed up what Danny had been aiming for.
'Dash' sprinted around the large technology filled room, smashing anything that was either expensive or technological. Mikey stared with his mouth hanging wide open, horrified at the sight that met his wide eyes.
He screamed incredibly loudly.
Danny was thrown back onto the path, and slowly stood up. He was beginning to get tired of entering all these people's dreams. Luckily the only ones left were Nathan and Valerie. Danny entered Nathan's dream first.
Nathan was walking nervously up to Valerie. She was standing in the hall, talking to the one A-lister who was still sort of her friend, Star. They appeared to have just finished their conversation and as Star stepped away to head off to class, Nathan approached his well-known crush.
Spying a poster that broadcasted to all who passed that a dance was coming up, Danny was quick to figure out what Nathan was going to say. Flying quickly over to Valerie, Danny overshadowed her just as she turned around.
Nathan spied that she had stiffened suddenly, and took that as a sign that Valerie didn't want to talk to him. Powering through his doubt, he decided that, since he was here, he might as well ask… Although he knew her answer would be no…
"Valerie… I was… uh… I was w-wondering if you wanted to, uh, go to the dance with me?" Nathan asked hesitantly. Already preparing his reply for when she said 'no,' he awaited her answer.
"I would love to! Oh, we need matching outfits, and we need to arrive together of course… Oh! Let's make this incredibly amazing!" Danny exclaimed through Valerie. He hoped that he had over exaggerated her 'joy' enough.
Nathan was utterly shocked. So shocked that he couldn't help screaming in surprise and joy.
Nathan's shock was so great that Danny was almost launched off the natural path. Luckily he was in his ghost form and therefore was able to catch himself before he fell into the swirling vortex that is the Ghost Zone.
"That was easy," Danny muttered, now turning away from Nathan who had metal shards scattered around his head. He turned to the last person he had to wake up… Valerie.
Danny didn't recognize where he was at all. The walls were lined with newspapers and photos, and he was able to spot exercise equipment scattered around the large room. When he turned around, however, he almost yelped. There, hanging from the ceiling in chains, was none other than Danny Phantom.
Danny realized that he must have been in a lair that Val created. Now knowing relatively what he must be in, he looked around the room again. This time, he recognized new, powerful looking ghost weapons around the room. He shuddered.
Flying invisibly to the ceiling, Danny was about to exit the room (there were no doors) when Valerie entered the room. What had appeared to be a normal wall seconds ago melted away to form a doorway through which Valerie entered. Danny quickly exited at the smile she sent dream Phantom, not wanting to witness her revenge on the innocent Phantom.
He flew outside the room when he found that he was in a mansion. Passing by the living room in which Danny found himself in, was Dash Baxter. Danny followed after him, noticing his attire. He was a servant in Val's mansion.
Quickly overshadowing him, Danny made Dash return to the living room. Turning invisible and intangible, he sunk back down into Valerie's lair.
There was ectoplasm scattered across the floor near Phantom—his 'blood.' Real Danny didn't want to find out what she had done. Luckily, she seemed to be finished for now as she was cleaning off the weapons that she had used.
Stealthily moving behind a desk placed in one corner of the room, 'Dash' turned visible. He waited for Valerie to finish what she was doing and turn around. After a minute, she did, and that was when Danny acted.
Jumping from behind the desk, 'Dash' raced over to Phantom. Using a blast of ecto energy, he blasted the chains holding Phantom. They broke at the blast and 'Dash,' using speed that Valerie thought was impossible for the jock, raced over and caught the ghost before he hit the ground. Valerie, still to shocked to move, merely watched.
'Dash' ninja-like dashed past her and up the stairs. Of course, he gave her a good kick to make sure that she didn't follow him using a perfectly performed roundhouse kick.
Valerie stood up from where she was knocked to the ground.
"What. The. HECK!?"
Laughing, Danny was thrown onto the path.
Finally everyone's dream helmets had been destroyed! Luckily everyone would stay asleep for a while…
With that, Danny collapsed in exhaustion.
This chapter took an incredibly long time to write. It is 24 pages long. I started it on the 27th but obviously I didn't finish it then.
REVIEW!
I won't post the next chapter until I get at least fifteen reviews… and until I write it. :D
Who's dream did you like the best?
