Kurosawa: What's with you?
Butterfly: Early college classes.
Kurosawa: Okay? She doesn't own My Sweet Bodyguard!
Once the group of detectives got back to the station the teams separated and went to different sections of the station. Ishigami and Kurosawa went back to work while Kaga, Ayumu and Goto went to the other side of the station to meet with Commisioner Ichiyanagi.
When the trio of detectives arrived at his office Kaga knocked on the door and a deep voice invited them in. Quickly they entered the room and an older man that looked similar to Subaru walked over to them.
"Good afternoon you two. So where's the new member that recently joined your team Kaga?" The commissioner asked peering curiously.
"He's right here sir. His name is Seiji Goto." Kaga said as he moved out of the way to reveal the raven-haired man.
"It's a pleasure to meet you sir." Goto said bowing.
"So Seiji I'm sure you're surprised that I asked to meet you here on your first day." The older man said as he sat down on his chair.
"That's correct sir. I'm sure you have a lot of things to do that are more important than meeting the new recruits." The raven-haired man said.
"Well the reason I asked you to come here is that do you know Shinichi Goto?" The commissioner asked peering curiously.
Goto held back a gasp at the name. How did the commissioner know about his father?
"Um yes sir I do know him. He's my father." He answered while ignoring Kaga and Ayumu's gasps.
"I'd figure. Your father and I are childhood friends and he e-mailed me saying that you were planning on getting a job here." The older man said smiling gently.
"There's something I'd never thought I would hear." The raven-haired man muttered under his breath.
"Is that all sir?" Kaga asked impatiently.
"Yes that's all. Seiji I look forward to seeing you again." The commissioner said as they bowed towards each other.
After the trio of detective's exited the office they nearly ran into Kurosawa who was waiting at Goto's office with a small bag in his hand. The younger detective's eyes lit up when the trio approached him and handed Goto the bag much to the raven-haired man's surprise. He quickly opened it to find macarons of many flavors inside.
"Um sorry about the sudden gift but you're a new member so I thought you could enjoy something sweet on your first day." The brown-haired man said sheepishly as he put a hand behind his head.
"Thank you. That's very kind of you." Goto said with a small smile on his face.
"Kurosawa you won't believe what Kaga and I found out." Ayumu said as Goto went inside his office.
As the trio of detectives spoke together Goto had went inside his office and placed the bag of macarons on his desk before selecting one and popping it into his mouth savoring the sweet strawberry flavor. He had to admit it was thoughtful of Kurosawa to think of him and it was a great ending towards an incredible day.
But nothing could stop him from finding the person that blinded him.
