It's been a long day today and Tina and Mike were busy with a lot of stuff which meant they didn't have time with each other. They have been planning some ideas for prom all night, they didn't have much time for homework. So, they stayed in probably a third of the classes they had to make up some work.
As she was on her way to meet Mike at his car, she hears running noises from behind.
"Hey Tina!" Rachel calls as Brittany, Quinn, and Mercedes run behind her.
Tina stops and turns around as soon as she hears Rachel's voice, "Hey, what's up?"
"Since prom is almost near, would you like to go dress shopping with us?"
"I'd love to! Let me text Mike and tell him I won't make it today," Tina pulls out her phone and texts Mike.
Tina: hey Mike, I need to cancel off today. I'm going prom shopping with the girls!
Mike: ok. just text me whenever you get the chance. Finn asked me to go with him to find tuxes too. I'll find another day for us to go out.
Tina: great. love youuu. :)
Mike: love you too. 3
Since both her and Mike planned to do something last minute together and they really wanted to go, Tina was so into prom that she had to go with the girls but she felt guilty and sad at the same time knowing that she hasn't seen Mike all day. All four got into Quinn's car and headed off to the boutique.
Once Quinn parked the car, Tina was the first out and started running. She waited for them by the sidewalk, jumping up and down telling them to hurry up like a little kid. They went inside and say many varieties of colors and sparkles. Tina took pictures of some she wanted and texted them too Mike. The dresses she took pictures of were mostly dark, just her style but she found dark with a bit of nice colors for Mike's style too.
Mike: those are great, T! but I prefer you getting the ones that are YOUR style.
Tina: what do you mean?
Mike: I mean the Tina Cohen-Chang style. I love that style better than more colors.
Tina: so less colors and more dark?
Mike: yes. dark is better than light.
Tina went looking for dark ones and she found this black dress with red laces in the front and back. She took a picture and sent that one to Mike.
Mike: perfect!
By the way he sent that text, she knew it was going to be the best prom night ever!
