Miroku: That's alright my lady, you've been busy.
Sesshomaru: Hn. She is a lady. She also had to send that contraption somewhere
Lady Frozen Rose: That contraption is my laptop. I apologize to my readers. School had me busy with finishing the semester, graduation ceremony, a summer class. I had to send my laptop out for repairs and have changed jobs a lot all summer. I was working for a theatre company. Now, I'm working for Boston Market. I also recently edited and added to the chapters.

Three days later, the Higurashi household was anything but quiet. Mrs. Higurashi was busy making breakfast, Kagome was taking a shower and Souta was asking everyone questions about the feudal era. How they met Kagome and what they thought about this time period. Sesshomaru was outside, avoiding the boy's annoying questions.
This went on for an hour during which time Kagome had showered, dressed and with Tsumetai's help finished boxing her belongings to give to good will. Once done, they went downstairs to eat.
"Ah, Kagome" Grandpa said when she entered the kitchen.
"Morning Grandpa"
"Everything set?"
"Not quite. I need to give everything to good will before I go. Right now, let's eat. What did you make mom?"
"Oh, Kagome. I made some of your favorites. Omelets, some onigiri and rice balls (anyone know the proper name for these?)."
"Delicious! Let's eat." Kagome said and prepared herself and Sesshomaru a plate.
Everyone else followed suit and prepared themselves plates. Then everyone started eating and having small conversations. When everyone finished eating, Kagome helped her mom do the dishes. While they were doing the dishes, Kagome learned something interesting from her mom.
"Kagome, I have one last thing to tell you and don't worry about your things. I'll take them to good will. Anyways, Kagome, that isn't your real name. Your birth name is Mikomi."
Kagome dropped the plate in her hands out of shock. "Wha-what? But I've always been Kagome." Kagome said, cleaning up the broken plate.
"You have been known as Kagome because Mikomi is in the history books. No one knows what she looks like. They only know she was a powerful miko. We couldn't call you by your birth name. We couldn't risk the questions (Kagome is the Mikomi in the history books). I'm sorry it's been a secret for so long. When you meet your father, you'll be recognized and welcomed as Lady Mikomi, the daughter of Lord Higurashi. Your father doesn't use his first name. In fact, I've forgotten what it is. Now, you'd best get going and make sure to tell everyone with you about your name."
"Alright, thanks mom. What about Souta? I know he's going to remember all but my name." Kagome said, hugging her mom.
"We'll think of something, don't worry Kagome." her mom said, hugging her back.
Kagome then left to gather everyone and made sure she had her bow, arrows and sword. Once they were all outside, she told them what she had learned from her mother. She told them that her birth name is Mikomi and once they return, Kagome no longer exists.
They all nod and follow Kagome into the well. Tsumetai is the last person to enter the well. When she jumps in, a wave of power starts from the well and heads out through Tokyo, Japan (Kagome lives in Tokyo, right?). It washes over Grandpa and Mrs. Higurashi, leaving them unaffected. Shortly after, Souta comes outside with a picture in his hands and a look of confusion on his face.
While things in the future become a little confusing, Kagome and the others climb out of the well in the feudal era and get a not so nice surprise.
"KAGOME! WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE WELL?!" Inuyasha continues screaming, starting to make no sense.
Ignoring him, Kagome faces Kikyo, whom is very confused. She is trying to figure out why she senses both demonic energy and miko energy from Kagome. She also doesn't understand why Kagome looks a little different; why she is no longer a double of Kikyo.
"Kikyo, I can explain, though it might be best if you hear it from my father." Kagome says.
Kikyo just nods and joins them. Everyone looks at Kagome confused; she shakes her head and starts walking towards Sesshomaru's castle. They follow her while Inuyasha is still screaming at Kagome whom has already left the well and is no longer near him. He realizes they've all left, Kikyo with them when he turns to talk to her and she's not there.
"Hey, Mikomi, how did you know where to go?" Sango asks.
"Well Sango, that's pretty simple. My father is the lord of the North-Western lands." Kagome said, answering to her birth name for the first time.
Kikyo heard the name and became even more confused. She remembered when she received the jewel, being told she was not the originally intended Shikon miko. She remembered that she had an older sister that she never got to meet because she was born dead (Kikyo wouldn't know the term still born). She later asked her mom about it and asked what her sister's name would've been. Kikyo then looks at Kagome and notices there is still a slight resemblance to her. She then stops and Shippou walks into her and falls on his butt.
"Ow" Shippou says, getting up and rubbing his butt.
Kagome turns around, notices Kikyo has stopped and is a little shocked. She also sees Shippou rubbing his butt. "Everything ok?" she asks.
Shippou nods his head and Kikyo just stares at her.
"Kikyo?" Kagome says.
Y-you're my sister, aren't you? Your name is Mikomi, which was my sister's name." Kikyo says slowly.
Kagome nods, "This is why we're going to see my father. He can explain my name, sudden change in appearance and why I have the aura of both a demon and a miko."
Kikyo nods and they continue traveling. They are now about a half-day's journey to Sesshomaru's castle but it is getting late. Kagome looks at Sesshomaru and then Kirara; she then suggests they take to the sky. Sesshomaru nods and Kirara transforms to her bigger size. Kagome and Shippou go with Sesshomaru, Sango, Miroku and Kikyo ride Kirara.
They get to the castle and Sesshomaru has guest rooms prepared for everyone. He also has dinner prepared to eat after everyone freshens up. They eat dinner and everyone but Kagome and Sesshomaru go to bed. They talk for an hour or two about themselves, their feelings and discuss what to do the next day. Sesshomaru then puts Rin to bed and they go to bed.
