Chapter 5

The boys woke up early the next morning and made breakfast for everyone. Dean and Caleb both told Sam happy birthday. Sam helped set the table and then went upstairs to wake everyone. The others got up and took turns in the bathroom. After that everyone sat down and ate the nice breakfast.

"Happy birthday son." John said sitting next to his youngest

"Thanks dad, are we still having the cookout later?"

"Yes we are. I gust need you and the boys to run some errands for me and when you get back, you can help Bobby cook just like I said last night."

Sam nodded and couldn't wait to cook. He wondered why his dad was letting him do errands but didn't think anything of it. After the kitchen was done the boys took showers and got ready to leave.

"Alright you two look after Sam and try to be as long as possible. We need enough time to set everything up." John told them

Once Sam came down John told him to have fun and be safe. Once they were gone everyone got started on the surprise birthday party for Sam. Mac blew up party balloons. Jim hung up the streamers and the Happy Birthday sign. John grabbed the presents and helped Bobby with the tables. Once the tables where set up they placed party sheets over the tables and placed the gifts on top. Since Sam didn't like clowns they got a dragon costume entertainer because of the story's Sam loved. When they got done with everything they couldn't wait till Sam got back to see it.

Once the boys where finished they headed back. They got out of the car but instead of going inside the house they went to the backyard. When Sam got to the back everyone yelled "Surprise". Sam smiled and told everyone thank you and gave them all hugs.

"So what do you think?" Dean said looking at all the decorations

"They did a good job, I like it."

"How about you help me cook the food." Bobby asked

Sam nodded and went with Bobby to the grill. Sam put the hot dogs and the meat on after Bobby got the fire going. Sam then got to flip the burgers and roll the hotdogs so they didn't get to crispy. Once they where done Bobby yelled the plate and Sam placed the food on it. They then had everyone sit at the tables.

"This is nice dad thanks for this." Sam told John

"Your welcome son."

After they ate the sang happy birthday and had ice cream and cake. Then they gave Sam the gifts. He got a hunters knife from John. Some new readying books from Bobby. Jim got him some video games. Dean got him a CD player while Caleb got him CDs for it.

"Thanks you guys I love them."

After that they cleaned up everything and went inside. The boys went up star to play the new games. This was one of Sam's best birthdays he could think of.

"So did you really like our gifts?" Dean asked

"Yeah and now I don't have to listen to yours." Sam smiled
