HALLWAY
Jasmine was walking along the hallway when she felt a rush of wetness run down her leg. "Oh that can't be good." Jasmine said.
"What can't be good?" Frank Tripp asked.
"Uh I think my water just broke." Jasmine said.
AND NOW
"What?" Frank asked.
"My water broke I think." Jasmine said.
"Ok you're fine. Let's just get you to the break room." Frank said.
"This is too early." Jasmine said.
"My first wife had our first girl early." Frank said.
"Was she ok?" Jasmine asked.
"She is. She's a college girl." Frank said.
Eric came down the corridor about that time. "Hey what you two talking about?" He asked.
"Is Tim and Horatio still up in the break room?" Frank asked.
"Yeah. Just came out of there. Jasmine you ok?" Eric asked.
"Yeah. I'm going to bed. Night guys." Jasmine said making her way down the hall and out of sight.
"Come on Eric let's go talk to Tim and Horatio." Frank said making his way down the hall.
MIAMI CSI LAB
BREAK ROOM
Tim was dozing on the couch when Frank and Eric came in. "Speed we need to talk." Frank said.
"What's wrong?" Tim asked.
"I just seen Jasmine out in the hallway. Tim she said her water broke." Frank said.
"What?" Tim exclaimed.
"Then when Eric came up she said she was going to bed." Frank said.
"She's scared." Horatio said from the doorway.
"Can't blame her. I'd be scared too." Eric said.
"Where is she now?" Tim asked standing up.
"I don't know she went off towards ballistics." Eric said.
Alex came in. "Has anyone seen Jasmine. I woke up and she was gone out of her bed." She said.
"She's been up for a while Alex." Horatio said.
"She ok?" Alex asked.
"We don't know." Frank said.
"She said her water broke. How long before she would feel any contractions?" Horatio asked.
"Depends on the reason why it broke." Alex said.
"Stress more than likely." Frank said.
"What's going on?" Ryan asked coming in.
"Have you seen Jasmine?" Eric asked.
"No not since she came into the trace lab." Ryan said.
"Me and Frank ran into her in the hall and she said her water broke." Eric said.
"Horatio she's been really down tonight. Can someone explain that?" Alex asked.
"Danny decided to have Maria and Patrick stay over tonight. Apparently he's been doing a lot of that the last few days." Tim said.
"Oh that poor girl. She must've felt like the third wheel." Alex said.
"That don't matter right now. We need to find her. Cause if her water did break her and the baby need to stay calm." Horatio said.
2 HALLS AWAY
Jasmine came down towards the ballistics lab when she felt a pang in her stomach. "Come on baby just wait til this hurricane is over." Jasmine said.
"Jasmine?" Calleigh asked coming around the corner.
"Hi." Jasmine said.
"Sweetie you ok?" Calleigh asked.
"My water broke. And now I am starting to feel a contractions." Jasmine said.
"Ok how about we get you into my office and get you situated then I'll get your dad and Horatio. Ok?" Calleigh asked.
"Ok." Jasmine said faintly.
"Ok. Come on." Calleigh said guiding the girl into her office. Once settled Jasmine sighed.
"I'm gonna call Horatio." Calleigh said.
"Ok." Jasmine said as Calleigh dialed on her cell.
"Caine." Came the steady voice.
"Hey. I got Jasmine with me." Calleigh said. They could hear Horatio telling everyone.
"Where are you?" Horatio asked.
"Ballistics lab." Calleigh said.
"We're on our way." Horatio said hanging up.
Calleigh squatted down next to Jasmine who was breathing through another contraction. "How you doing sweetie?" Calleigh asked.
"I'm fine." Jasmine said.
"Where is she?" Eric said coming around the glass wall.
"She's right here." Calleigh said standing up.
"Why couldn't you just said that you were in labor?" Eric asked.
"Where's the fun in that." Jasmine said.
"How far have the contractions been?" Alex asked.
"She was having one when I brought her in here. So about 4 minutes apart." Calleigh said.
"Ok." Alex said.
"Where's Dad and Horatio?" Jasmine asked.
"They're coming. Horatio is looking for a inflatable bed so you are comfortable." Ryan said. Frank came in.
"How about a guy with some experience in the birthing room?" Frank asked smirking.
"I trust you." Jasmine said smiling.
"Good. I'll be one of the coaches." Frank said.
"Thank you. Just don't let me break your hand." Jasmine said.
"I'd pay good money to watch you break Rick Stetler's hand." Tim said coming in.
"Speed!" Horatio admonished.
"How's my girl doing?" Tim asked dropping to his knees beside Jasmine.
"Scared." Jasmine said.
"I know you are." Tim said kissing her head.
"Eric help me get this bed blown up. We should have some disposable sheets in the utility closet." Horatio said.
"Jasmine when we get the bed in here I wanna check your progress." Alex said.
In a few minutes Jasmine was situated on the bed. "How are you feeling?" Horatio asked.
"Tired. And the fun hasn't even begun yet." Jasmine said.
"Ok unless you're a coach out cause I need to check her." Alex said.
"Can my dad stay?" Jasmine asked shyly.
"You better believe I'm staying." Tim said.
"Alright." Alex said removing Jasmine's pants and starting her exam. Once it was over she smiled at her.
"You have a while to go." Alex said.
"So tomorrow." Tim said.
"Ok. Maybe Danny can be here that's if he can tear himself away from his brother and his new mother." Jasmine said.
"You lay here and breathe through the tough contractions." Alex said.
"Send the crew back in." Jasmine said.
"Will do." Alex said.
Tim laid down beside Jasmine and smiled at her. "Ready to be a mom?" Tim asked.
"Yeah I guess. Ready or not here it comes." Jasmine said as the crew came back in and crowded round her.
