A/N: Hey guys! I just wanted to know if you guys think this is progressing really slow. I'm sorry if it seems that way, but I really want to say that I just want to develop the characters more, I have a bad habit of rushing. So stick with me, and thank you for your patience :)

"Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning."

-Gloria Steinem

An arrow flew through the air and dug into the tree ahead of the trio. The archer beamed, lowering her tired arms and the bow as her companions smiled and nodded in admiration. Though archery is no longer a common weapon since guns had gripped the world, it was still a prized talent for a miko to have.

"I'm tired, do you think we can take a break?" I asked and ran my hand through my hair. Kikyo was about to deny the request when Miroku shot her a look and said: "Of course, you've been improving so take a moment."

I nodded and flashed an artificial smile before stalking off into the forest with a quiver over my shoulder, and a bow in hand. Sweat flowed down my temples and when I was far enough I collapsed onto my knees.

Exhaustion came over me in waves and it became harder to breath. Hands clenched into fists and anger flooded in, Ever since that day... images and the lingering sensation of electricity caused me to cringe.

I clenched my teeth as the expected migraine crashed down causing me to groan. Seconds seemed like hours before the pain washed away and that's when I finally got up, and headed back.

Of course they didn't know, I didn't want them worrying about me. Just before I got there I stopped and took a deep breath, Okay, I have to get my act together. Shaking my head vigorously, I took another breath and took a step forward when I heard hushed voices.

"She's taking longer than I thought," Miroku mused, and I crouched down and peered over the bushes. Kikyo turned towards Miroku and walked up to him, I blushed when I noticed how close they were to each other.

"I'm worried about what we should do next. She's had enough training." Kikyo said, and Miroku sighed. "That's very true, but what can we do? The only person that can do anything is Midoriko and that's because she is actually out there."

Midoriko? That woman who was here the first time I came? I narrowed my eyes, they had no idea what we were supposed to do. But I don't either. I sighed and got up, time was over and I had to return quickly.

I brushed past the vegetation and Miroku and Kikyo took a step away from each other. I cracked a smile and rolled my eyes before plopping myself down. Kikyo quirked a brow while Miroku followed my example eagerly.

Kikyo rested beside me and I took in a deep breath, flaring my power a little bit as I stretched my toes. "What do we do now?" I asked, more to myself but the two beside me stiffened at my words.

"You've had enough training." Miroku pointed out and I beamed at that. "But now that your trained, the next thing to do...would be to plan your escape."

The color drained out of my face and my mouth was gaping open. My escape? They aren't coming with me?! The thought terrified me, I didn't know what I was going to do if I made it. And I am sure that the whole facility would be punished; Kaede, Kikyo, Miroku...and Sesshomaru. But what about Ma and Bank? Were they still out there? The idea was pleasant, but realistically I knew it was impossible. They were seized when I was arrested and by now their execution would have happened.

I shuddered at the thought, no. There was no way in Kami I was going to be alone. "If we are going to plan an escape." I looked over to Kikyo and Miroku, a new flare of determination flooding over me. 'Then I want you guys to come with me too - including Kaede."

Kikyo shot up, hands curled and eyes ablaze, "I will not risk you for everyone else," Kikyo snapped and I bristled. "I can't be alone out there knowing that you will all be slaughtered!" I spat back, Kikyo's eyes widened, and I felt something warm rush down my cheeks. I ignored my tears and my anger diminished.

"I-I can't leave knowing that..." My voice cracked and I knew I couldn't think about it anymore. "Rin...I'm sorry," Kikyo whispered as she wrapped a comforting arm around me. I rubbed my tears away.

"Even if we did try to escape, Rin. We have to save the others." Miroku replied and I sighed. "I know, but what if none want to go? So many of them are scared...and not all are spiritualists." I admitted.

"Let's say we do find out a way to free many," Kikyo began, "How are we to determine who is to go?"

The question echoed, and we all just sat there and continued to mule this over. How were we to talk, but not get caught? And surely what would happen if there was some sort of spy? I sighed and looked around us, Its so peaceful here...WAIT

"What if we bring them here? Like how you brought me here?" I asked and Kikyo and Miroku seemed uneasy, my smile widened, it was. "Well?" I dragged out the 'l' and Miroku's eyes widened.

"I guess we can..." Miroku replied and I almost cried out when Kikyo cut in, "Absolutely not! It took more than half of my power bringing you here Rin, imagine all those people? Night by night?"

"And then how many would actually agree? What if someone-" I put my hand up to Kikyo's mouth and she froze, I offered her a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I have a lot to go around."

I took my hand off her mouth and threw them up in the sky and collapsed onto the ground, "Tonight." I stated, and the others fell down beside me, "But who to pick?" I wondered with excitement and I was surprised for Miroku to mention Jay.

"Jay?" I repeated and looked back up into the souls gliding in the air, "He'll be perfect!"

And that was what started it all, my first act of bravery. There would be more plans to come, but this was the first taste of the revolution I got. And hell, it was pretty good.

Short chapter, but this was a major scene, keep in mind who is joining and who won't. Next chapter will be lengthy :) And ill try to throw a little Sesshomaru in there. Thanks for reading and please leave a review!
