The sirens were ringing and everyone was in a panic as the two American brothers ran through the halls, their bulked bodies breaking through every barricade of men. America looked to Canada who was keeping up if not establishing the pace.

"You could've done this when so many people weren't watching, you know."

"Just shut up and run, America." Canada replied, winded from the 4 minute mile they were inhumanly running.

Just ahead of them was the final door that they had to surpass to exit and, after dodging every soldier, laser, bullet, and receding wall that attempted to trap them, they knew they would make it. "Do you have a plan here?"

The two stopped in front of the door, knowing that no matter how much force they put into it they wouldn't be able to take it down. They did, however, take out every automatic assault weapon that seceded from the walls and ceiling, not taking a single hit as they broke off the metal. Canada looked to a security camera, giving a nod. Soon after the door began to open, revealing the restricted area behind the compound that they would run through, a vast testing field. The two heard familiar voices behind them and saw all their comrades turn the corner with an armada of soldiers with them; the soldiers ran on, but the nations stopped in their tracks, confused and both horrified at the sight of Canada and America.

The two gave each other a nod and rolled under the door which was now lowering to trap the others inside. They made it through in the nick of time and began to run once more, gaining speed towards the field behind the compound where they would then run to the forest that Canada had mapped out days earlier. They both knew that the hounds and the soldiers, as well as their comrades, would come for them, but they were prepared.

Besides, they've been planning every part of this since America was caught. Canada knew the whole time what America's escapades were. He knew the whole time why he did what he did. Canada knew, because he'd been "blessed" with the same memories of his past as America had. Only he'd been able to sustain himself, despite the anger that grew within him.

The two stopped for a moment and gathered themselves. Being nations, especially of these two's caliber, granted special ability of endurance and strength, something which had proved most vital in their livelihoods. The air all around them was fresh and clean, the fields which bordered a forest beckoning for them.

"Ho-ly…crap. Eugh" America fell down onto his back and rested, taking in huge dollops of air at a time.

Canada followed, lying next to his brother in sweet relief. "They're coming after us. You made sure there weren't any trackers on you, right?"

"Yeah, there were at least four on me before you came, but I got em off when we ran."

"Sweet."

"Got the tickets and shit?"

Canada pulled fake passports and papers out of his pocket. "For all three of us"

"That reminds me, when's she going to show?" America rolled to his side, his old compound outfit covered in sweat and grime.

"I don't know. She risked a lot for you, you know. If it weren't for her that final door would've never opened in the first place.

"She couldn't do anything about the bullets, huh?"

"Considering, I think she did the best she could."

They lied there, ecstatic with themselves and excited to see their mother once more. How strange it were that they're lives would cross paths once more, and they were excited to escape with her and start a life anew; at least for a little while until they felt "rehabilitated" and fresh once more. They had planned to be with her and protect her as she had them, and though their revenge was something that was cut off with America's escape, they felt as though they'd done enough to the others for their misdeeds.

They went into the forest to the designated, charted area, awaiting their mother.

She was still at the compound though, and though the brothers didn't know that, the other nations most surely did.
