I know...I know...I'm horrible at updating this story! But I promise I'm trying! I hope you enjoy this chapter! :)

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT! IT MEANS ALOT!

Please remember to review at the end! :)

Rebekah moaned as she slowly opened her eyes, and smiled as she found a pair of green eyes staring down at her with a smile on his face. "Good morning," She whispered, stretching slightly, letting the satin sheet fall from her body, revealing her bare torso to his desire filled eyes.

He lifted his right hand, and stroked her bare side, pausing to stroke the side of her breast. He smiled at the sight of her breasts hardening under his touch, and the way she arched into his hand.

She hummed, and closed her eyes, as he continued to touch her skin with small tantalizing circles.

"You are so beautiful in the morning." He whispered, causing her eyes to open and focus on him.

She smiled, and touched his face with her right hand. "You make me feel it." She whispered, watching his eyes sparkle.

His hand moved up to brush over her face, and he couldn't stop the smile on his face. "You are always beautiful, Rebekah." He remarked, smiling softly.

She leaned forward, and kissed his lips, gently. "Probably because I've been in love for centuries," She whispered, causing him to lean back to look at her.

She smiled, and dipped her head, as he cupped her chin, and lifted it to look into her eyes. "Centuries?" He asked, huskily.

She nodded, and tugged her bottom lip in-between her teeth. "Ever since the day I meet you," She answered, smiling with a blush on her cheeks.

He smiled, and stroked her face, gazing into her eyes with a soft gaze. "All these years," He whispered, shaking his head.

She sighed, and lowered her gaze, as her hand touched his chest. "You never gave me the time of day." She remarked, softly.

He inhaled deeply, and placed his right hand on her upper arm, slowly moving it the satin sheet covered hip. "I was afraid." He began, watching her face turn into mild confusion. He shrugged. "I was afraid that you would not accept me." He added, lowering his eyes to her body.

She sighed, and stroked his chest with her nails. "I accepted you, Stefan. I accepted you the moment I saw you, and that never changed." She replied, catching his eyes with hers.

He smiled, and groaned when a move caused him to put weight on his left side. Rebekah jumped up, and moved closer to him, attempting to help him. Normally, Stefan rejected it all of the sympathy shown his way because of his disability, but this time, he knew it wasn't sympathy he was receiving.

She lifted her eyes to his, and smiled. "I probably should sleep on your right side from now on." She stated, lowering her eyes to his left side.

He shook his head, and caressed her cheek. "Then how would I be able to touch you in the mornings?" He asked, watching her smile, brightly.

She smiled, and started to snuggle against his body. "Oh, you would find a way." She whispered, kissing his bare shoulder.

He chuckled, lowly, and lifted her face to kiss her lips, gently. "You have so much faith." He muttered, against her lips.

She giggled, and snuggled closer to him. "I love you. That's all I need." She returned, feeling his right hand push her blonde hair from her face.

He smiled, and kissed the top of her head. "I love you too, Rebekah." He whispered, as they closed their eyes once again, neither caring that it was no longer night outside.

Caroline laughed as Lucinda moved her hands over the pages of the book in Caroline's hands, and giggled.

"You are a smart girl." Caroline cooed, squeezing her daughter in her arms.

Lucinda laughed, and bounced on her mother's lap.

Caroline shook her head, and laughed once more. "Oh, my sweet little light," She whispered, kissing her daughter's head.

"Just like her mother."

Caroline lifted her head, and smiled as Klaus entered the room. Dressed in his usual, black suit, her eyes lit up as she watched him walk closer. "And just like her father." She returned, softly.

He smiled, and knelt down beside them with Lucinda laughing with her blue eyes sparkling. "My two lovelies," He whispered, lifting his right hand to touch his daughter's face, and then leaned up to kiss his wife's lips.

Caroline hummed against his lips, and sighed when he leaned back down. "All's quiet out there?" She asked, holding his eyes.

Klaus sighed, and lowered his gaze to his daughter, who was slapping her hands on the book, before shaking his head. "As quiet as it can be." He remarked, lifting his eyes back to hers.

She shook her head, and tilted her head to the side. "Niklaus," She stated, firmly.

He sighed, and moved his eyes to his daughter. "Not here." He remarked, softly.

Caroline nodded, and stood up from the rocking chair. "Anna," She called, moving to the door.

Anna appeared in the door, and smiled as her Queen handed her the laughing baby. "Yes, my lady," She answered with smile.

Caroline nodded, and sighed. "Will you watch Lucinda for a few moments? I have a need to speak with my husband." She added, turning to look at her husband.

Anna smiled, and nodded. "Of course, my lady," She answered, bowing her head.

"Thank you, Anna." Caroline whispered, walking out of the room with Klaus following her.

She stopped outside the room, and turned to face her husband. "Now, spill it." She stated, firmly.

Klaus sighed, and leaned against the wall next to the door. "Something is disturbing the spirits, and no one knows what." He stated, after a moment.

She lowered her eyes, and stepped closer to him. "What do you think it is?" She asked, lifting her eyes to his.

He moved his eyes to the side, and moved it back to hers. "Silas," He answered, lowly.

Caroline swallowed, and dropped her arms to her side, only to lift them to place her hands on his chest. "Are you sure?" She asked, searching his eyes.

He swallowed, and clenched his jaw. "The skies in the far reaches are burning, Caroline." He answered, softly. "That's the only explanation." He added, lifting his right hand to brush her hair from her face.

She sighed, and closed her eyes. "What are we going to do?" She asked, opening her eyes to gaze into his cerulean blue eyes.

He shook his head. "There is nothing we can do, love." He remarked, sadly. "It's up to Stefan and Rebekah." He added, searching her eyes.

She leaned forward, and placed her forehead on his. "Our home, Nik," She whispered, everything coming to light in her mind.

He sighed, and wrapped his arms around her waist. "We'll make it, Caroline." He reassured her, holding her close.

"My Lord! My Lady!" Anna hollered, from the room.

They ripped apart, and rushed in the room. The sight before them froze them in their tracks.

The fire blazing through the sky was growing, and it was heading towards the palace.

"Nik," Caroline whispered, reaching for her husband, as Lucinda ended up in his arms too.

Klaus swallowed, and watched as the fire roared, and blazed hotter than before. Moving his eyes to his wife and his daughter, he kissed the top of his daughter's head, and captured Caroline lips with a passion that showed her how much he loved her.

"I love you." He whispered, lovingly.

She smiled, and nodded. "I love you." She returned, capturing his lips with her for a searing kiss, and pulled back, both panting as their foreheads rested together.

If they were going down, they were going down as a family.

Stefan chuckled as he wrapped his arm around Rebekah's waist, and pulled her flush against his side.

Rebekah's hair flew behind her, as she turned around, and placed her hands on his chest, her eyes sparkling like the stars in the sky. "Who knew you could chase?" She stated with a laugh in her voice.

He smiled, and squeezed her waist, lightly. "Only when you are the prize." He returned, watching a blush appear on her face.

"Oh, Stefan," She whispered, pulling his head down, and captured his lips with hers.

He smiled against her mouth, and pulled back. "I never imagined I would have you in my arms." He remarked, softly.

She smiled, and stroked his face, tenderly. "I never imagined I would be here." She returned, tears forming in her eyes. "I love you so much, Stefan." She whispered, moving her eyes over his face.

He smiled, and kissed her forehead. "I love you, Rebekah. I wish you knew how much." He whispered, moving his face down hers.

"Show me, Stefan. Show me for all eternity." She whispered, kissing his lips with love and tenderness.

Stefan groaned, and lifted her as much as he could, and moved his lips down her throat. "For all eternity…" He whispered, before capturing her lips once again, and sat her on top of the anvil, where he did most of his work.

She smiled, and felt his hand moving up her leg, pushing her dress up until his fingers brushed against her inner thighs. She bit back a moan, and helped him gather her skirts around her waist, wanting him to tough her further.

"Open wide for me, my love." He whispered, caressing her, stroking her.

She bit her bottom lip, and threw her head back just as his fingers pushed inside. "Stefan…ah…"

He smiled, as she writhed on the anvil. Feeling her hands on top of his waist, he groaned, and in an instant they waved off the clothing separating them. This was not the love that he wanted to shower her with, but the second he entered her, all thoughts left his mind.

The fire around them blazed hotter, and sweat dripped from their bodies to the anvil and the ground of his workshop.

Her legs wrapped around his waist, taking him deeper, securing him inside her the only way she could. Their moans filled the shop, and tears of sweet joy trickled down her face at the way he rocked within her, spilling his love deep within her soul, connecting with hers until they were one and the same.

The feeling of oneness filled their souls, and Stefan jerked within her, feeling his body strengthening more than ever before.

Crying out into the forge, they came together, and Rebekah's arms wrapped around his shoulders, holding onto him.

No words were spoken as they rested in the center of the forge, none were needed.

Pulling back, he searched her eyes. "So many times I've dreamed of making love to you here with the fire eliminating your skin." He whispered, huskily.

She smiled, and her chest lifted and fell with each panted breathe. "Well, now that you have what are you going to do now?" She asked, watching a mischievous gleam appear in his eyes.

"I'm going to do it again, until you get tired of the heat." He answered, watching her smile.

"Then I'm glad I love you." She remarked, pulling him closer.

He chuckled, and continued what he stated he would do.

Ayanna shook her head as she peered into the orb.

"It's happening, isn't it?" Sheila asked, stepping closer.

Ayanna nodded, and sighed. "Niklaus and Caroline are trapped." She stated, shaking her head.

Emily shook her head. "How will they escape?" She asked, fear leaking in her voice.

"They are safe for now." Ayanna answered, turning her gaze to her sisters. "It's time for Stefan and Rebekah to know." She remarked, firmly.

The others nodded, and a look of weariness appeared on their faces.

Everything depended on the one the prophesy had foretold.

It all depended on Stefan and his love.
