Chapter 5 Strength in Numbers
"Symbiotic Uniform Synchronization, Yoiketsu!" A voice shouted in a big classroom.
Davis jumped back as footballs, basketballs, scalpels, arrows, flashdrives, and art supplies came flying at it him, when it landed he saw a group of football and basketball players, a biology class, a archery team, a group of smart guys, and people with paint all over them standing before him with a level I on them.
"You're very agile!" The captian of the football club said having armor on his football uniform.
"That just mean more fun for us." The captain of the basketball club said having a spiked jacket on him.
"It will do him no good once he's disected." The captain of the biology club smirked as he was looking like a freaky scientist.
"I doubt he can take us all on." The captain of the archery club grinned with crossbows on her arms and back.
"Success of his victory is very low." The captain of the computer club said as he pushed up his thick nerd glasses.
"I shall paint the canvas with your defeat." The captain of the art club said as she wore clothes like Mona Lisa.
"You bastards have a lot of nerve using Orihime as hostage to get to me." Davis frowned rising up and placing his blade on his right shoulder as he looked at the group of people he was confronting with Orihime behind them tied to a wooden pole.
"Davis you're so cool!" Orihime shouted waving her head side to side.
"Get him!" All the captains shouted as all their subordinates charged at Davis.
"Let's get this over with!" Davis said spinning his blade forwards plowing through the small army of level I's stripping them of their clothes as they turned into data and was abosrbed into his armor.
"Impossible!" The captains shouted.
"Is a word I hardly know!" Davis shouted jumping up in the air turning his blade backwards as it turned into a long sword. "Yoi-Miracle-Thrasher!" An explosion went off in the school as all the students and captains fell to the ground naked as Davis stuck his blade in the ground and stood on the stands. "Not even a challenge." Davis scoffed smirking jumping of the blade and his armor flashed into his clothes again as he walked away from the pile of naked students.
"Thank you Davis!" Orihime shouted tackling to the ground hugging him.
"Hehe, no problem." Davis chuckled patting her back as they raised up and sat on a bench with Davis holding up his Blood Blade up in his right hand as it shrunk to the size of a pencil.
"Whoa. Since when could you shrink you're blade? That's so cool!" Orihime gushed.
"Eh it's no big deal really." Davis grinned waving his left hand as he put the shrunken blade in his pocket.
Yoiketsu could only sighed at this before he looked up at Davis.
"You're blood's been salty lately." Yoiketsu said.
"Huh?" Davis asked looking down at him.
"It explains your cocky additude." Yoiketsu said.
"You can tell all that from how my blood tastes?" Davis asked.
"Yes, I can immediately spot any change in your physiology." Yoiketsu said. "Everything to your weight to your BMI."
That had Davis blush.
"Hey butt out of private stuff like that! My BMI is none of your damn buisness!" Davis shouted.
"You've been eating too many of those croquettes and ramen Davis." Yoiketsu stated.
"I'll eat whatever I damn well want! Besides I need to keep up my energy fighting off all these losers don't I!" Davis yelled.
"Calm down. Impatience is bad for you. As is greasy food." Yoikestu said.
"Oh shut up damn it! And wipe that smug look off your face!" Davis shouted waving his arms around.
"Now how can I look smug if I don't even have a face." Yoiketsu retorted.
"That's it you're so comming off!" Davis growled pulling on his blazer grunting.
"That's amazing you're pulling off a comedy duo act all by yourself!" Orihime smiled.
"What?" Davis asked letting go of his blazer.
"Oh sorry. You were talking to Yoiketsu again were'nt you?" Orihime giggled.
"Dont worry about it, and yeah I was." Davis sighed leaning back on the bench putting his left leg over his right and probbing his arms up on the back.
"Ah! What a lovely day today is!" Orhime chimmed leaning back on the bench too and layed her head on Davis' shoulder.
"Orihime?" Davis asked looking at her only to see that she's sleeping. "Figures." He chuckled shaking his head.
"Davis do you really think you can take of the entire Son Goku Academy by yourself?" Yoiketsu asked.
"I'm the only one who can destroy these Kai Uniform at the moment Yoiketsu. I'm gonna have to fight them on my own along with you." Davis said looking up the sky.
"True but everyone needs help every now and then."
"Yoiketsu you and I both know that Lilithmon's rebelion is tied up with dealing of Dragomon's loose digimon in the Dark Ocean, not to mention Lilithmon herself has to be called back and forth to help every now and then while also maintaining her cover her at school. And even though Kari, Veemon, and Gatomon want to help there's only so much they can do while trying to not get the others involved in this due to our issues."
"I can see where you're comming with all of this."
"Face it Yoiketsu it's just you and me against Son Goku Academy. We're on our own."
Unbeknownst to Davis and Yoiketsu Orihime was actually listening as she peeked an eye open and looked at Davis.
...Command Room...
"So what's the analysis?" Ryoka asked sipping her tea.
"Over 50% of students has been defeated by Davis." Jeremy said looking at his computers of the fights that's been going around.
"This kid is making a mockery of our school's power." Bruce frowned.
"Though I would'nt mind going up against him." Sai grinned.
"You made a big move in having the whole school gunning for him Lady Ryoka." Viper smiled.
"I'm only seeing if he alone poses a threat to us or not." Ryoka said looking at the moniter herself. "Though he is something to consider a threat. What Master Dragomon plans to do with him is a mystery."
Just then a beeping sound came from Ryoka's wrist making her pull the sleeve down to the communicator before answering it.
"Master?" Ryoka asked turning her chair around.
"How is the Child of Miracles comming along?" Dragomon asked.
"He's managed to go through a portion of our forces." Ryoka answered.
"I see." Dragomon said. "I want you to tell them that they are allowed to go after him after school."
"For what reason Master?" Ryoka asked.
"Because I think the time is near to show the world what Son Goku Academy is truly made of." Dragomon said making Ryoka understand.
"Understood." Ryoka nodded turning of her communicator. "So it's time to begin Phase 2."
...Once school was over...
Davis and Orihime were walking around the city chatting with each other over the stuff they went over in class.
"So I was suppose to look over nitrogen and not oxide?" Orihime asked.
"Yeah pretty much." Davis said.
"Davis! Orihime!" Kari, Veemon, and Gatomon shouted waving as they came up to the duo.
"Hey guys." Davis smiled.
"Friends hello hello hello!" Orihime smiled waving her arms.
"So anything happen today?" Veemon asked Davis.
"Other than the massive students gunning for me not much." Davis sighed.
"Sorry to hear that." Gatomon frowned.
"Hey at least they can't get you after school." Kari said trying to brighten Davis' mood.
"I would'nt be so sure!" The gang turned around to see a pal skinned boy with bowl black hair and eyes wearing purple scuba diver's suit with a level II on his head carrying a harpoon gun in his right hand. And behind him were a MASSIVE bunch of students in light purple scuba diver suit but they had clawed webbed claws on level I's on their chest.
"Oh my!" Orihime gasped.
"That's new." Davis gritted getting ready.
"Something seems wrong." Yoiketsu said.
"Davis Motomiya prepare to face me the captian of the swim team and my troops!" The swim captain said pointing his harpoon gun at Davis.
"Hey what's going on?! I thought Ryoka put a band on students comming after me after what happend with that baseball captain!" Davis said.
"Oh she did, but she suddenly gave everyone the ok to go for you even after school." The swim captain smirked.
"WHAT?!" The gang shouted.
"It's true!" The swim captain laughed. "Now my troops, ATTACK!"
And like a small army all the level I scuba divers rushed at Davis and his group.
"Kari!" Davis said turning to her bringing out his D-3.
"On it!" Kari said taking out her D-3 as well.
"Digi-Armor Energize!" They both shouted as the Digi-Eggs of Friendship and Light came out engulfing Veemon and Gatomon in blue lightning and white light.
"Veemon armor digivolve to... Raidramon the Storm of Friendship!"
"Gatomon armor digivolve to... Nefertimon the Angel of Light!"
Raidramon and Nefertimon appeared as Kari got on Nefertimon and Davis put Orihime on Raidramon.
"I'll be right behind you, GO!" Davis said.
Kari, Raidramon, and Nefertimon nodded their heads as they took off with Orihime shouting 'WHEEEEE' all the way. Davis looked back to see the scuba grunts comming near him.
"Symbiotic Uniform Synchronization, Yoiketsu!" Davis said as he transform with his blood blade ready before he spun around in a black tornado of red energy and slicing up the scuba grunts that came at him and absorbing their data before he right himself and jetted after his group.
"Don't let him get away!" The swim captain said.
"Man this is nuts!" Davis said looking back at the approaching group.
"If what he said about Ryoka letting all the level come for you after school were true then things are going to go from bad to worse." Yoiketsu said.
"Uh ya think!" Davis gripped.
"Davis this way!" Raidramon said stopping in front of a alley.
"Come on!" Nefertimon encouraged.
"Gotcha!" Davis said going into the alley.
"He went in the alley!"
"Get him!"
"We got him cornered!"
As the scuba grunts came in the alley all they saw was a dead end and no Davis.
"We got you guys cornered!" Orihime shouted as they gang appeared the the way the scuba grunts came in.
"Let em have it!" Kari said.
"Queen's Paw!" Nefertimon fired rubies from her gauntlet.
"Thunder Blast!" Raidramon fired blue lightning from his back.
The alley exploded as the scuba grunts flew up in the air, where it was they saw Davis standing on top of a building with his blood blade on his shoulder smirking at them.
"Say goodbye to your Kai Uniforms." Davis said readying his blade in both hands. "Yoi-Miracle-Thrasher!" He skyrocketed towards the helpless grunts and sliced up each and every last one of them making their clothes burst into data before it was all absorbed into Yoiketsu. "Now let's get out of here before anymore show up!" Davis said turning to the group.
"Not so fast!" Davis looked behind him to see the swim captain there with a lot of captain of level I's behind him. "You think this will be like all those other times, well you're dead wrong Motomiya! All of us want a piece of you and we're gonna get it!"
"Guys stand back and help me when needed. This is gonna get crazy!" Davis said as Kari, Raidramon, Nefertimon, and Orihime nodded their heads in understanding as Davis got ready to face the small army.
"GO!" The swim captain commanded as everyone charged.
"This is gonna be a long afternoon." Davis thought.
...Hours later...
*Huff* *Huff* *Huff* *Huff* *Huff*
Davis was panting very hard as he was lying against a street lamp all sweaty and tired and around him were the naked and beaten bodies off all those he defeated with the swim captian lying in the dumpster in a alley. Beside him were the others all looking at him in concern.
"You ok Davis?" Kari asked.
"I just *Huff* *Huff* have to catch *Huff* my breath." Davis huffed as his armor turned back into his clothes.
"This whole thing blows. We were barely able to help Davis." Gatomon said crossing her arms.
"And to think you gotta go back tommorrow and fight them by yourself." Veemon frowned clutching his fists tightly.
"Don't worry I'll fight along side Davis." Orihime puffed out her cheeks giving the old one two.
"How does she plan to help you fight?" Yoiketsu asked.
"Yoiketsu is right Orihime, how do you plan on fighting with me?" Davis asked.
"I don't know but I'll think of something! Davis is my best pal! And you don't leave your pal behind no matter what!" Orihime said with her fits to her chest still with her cheeks puffed out but had a determined look in her eyes.
Kari, Veemon, and Gatomon smiled while Davis chuckled shaking his head.
"Thanks Orihime." Davis smiled.
"You're welcome! That's what besties are for!" Orihime smiled goofly making everyone laugh.
Away from them standing on a building around a corner were Lira and BantyoLeomon watching over them.
"It would appear that Dragomon is making his move." BantyoLeomon said.
"Only part of it. And it would appear Davis will need a hand sooner than expected." Lira said pushing up her glasses.
"Are we going to involve the Digidestined?"
"We just might have to."
Lira turned around to leave but notice BantyoLeomon hasn't moved.
"Are you comming?" Lira asked.
"In a moment. I have something to take care of." BantyoLeomon said still looking at the group.
"Very well." Lira said before vanishing.
As BantyoLeomon saw the group of three teenagers and two digimon leave his eyes followed one person he made in mind for what he was going to do.
"I will help Davis and Lady Lilithmon by any means neccesary." BantyoLeomon thought.
...Davis' home...
Davis was laying around on the couch watching tv doing nothing in particular.
"So you're just going to watch tv after what happend today?" Yoiketsu asked.
"What else can I do except make sure I know how to handle that kind of situation better." Davis said flicking through the channels.
"Are you being cocky again?" Yoiketsu had to wonder.
"No. I can't be cocky again after today. From now on I need to procced with caution about my battles." Davis said.
"Spoken like a true fighter." Yoiketsu praised.
"Oh shush." Davis said embarrassed.
"I'm home." Jun said walking in.
"Hey." Davis said facing her.
"You the only one here?" Jun asked sitting down next to him.
"Yeah, mom and dad are out having dinner." Davis said waving his hand.
"Oh, well good for them." Jun said.
"I've been meaning to tell you this, but you're comming home late a lot lately." Davis said.
"Yeah I know. I've been busy with stuff and school work." Jun sighed.
"I understand that." Davis nodded.
"Hey do you want pizza tonight?" Jun asked.
"Sure why not." Davis said.
As they ordered pizza Jun and Davis spended the night laughing and enjoying each others company.
...Days laster...
"Back off!" Davis shouted in his armor rolling into the gym to dodge the yoga club that was after him.
You'd think going to school would be a simple think, right?
There's no such thing when your going to Son Goku Academy.
Just as that swim captain said clubs having been attacking Davis right after school adn though its hard Davis had managed to pull through even if barley sometimes. Today right as Davis entered school ground without Orihime for some reason he was surrounded by the book, track, and sewing clubs and engaged them all in fighting that lasted til it was time for class. Then when lunch came around he was sneak attacked by the tightrope walking club and that was a hassle, and right when he was heading back to class he gets attacked by the yoga club.
Which is right now.
"You can't escape the yoga club and their soothing power!" The captian of the yoga club exclaimed.
"I'll show you!" Davis said jetting out red energy and skyrocketing towards the club and began punching, kicking, and bashing them all asides trying to take them all down as quick as possible.
"Hiya!" The yoga grunts shouted swinging their poles at Davis who blocked it but pushed him back into the but he righted himself by making his feet touch the walls.
"Enough of this, Blood Blade! Decapitation Mode!" Davis kicked himself off the wall and spinned around in the air before raising his blood blade in the air with both hands. "Time for yoga to say oucha! Yoi-Miracle-Thrasher!" Davis sliced threw the yoga group dispersing their clothes into data and absorbing it. When that was done Davis' armor turned back into clothes and walked out the gym to head towards his class.
"Man this is starting to be a pain in the ass." Davis muttered rubbing the back of his neck.
"At least you're doing better than you were before." Yoiketsu said looking u at Davis.
"That's cause before was a surprise. I'm being ready for anything these days, but I do need something to lighten my day." Davis sighed as he got to class and sat in his seat.
"Speaken of lighten your day, Orihime has been absent the last three days." Yoikestu said.
"Yeah I wonder why." Davis mussed putting his head in his right hand.
As the day went on clubs kept gunning for Davis until the end of the day where Davis was walking the streets heading on home.
That was until rumbling was going on through the street making Davis turned around to see the sumo and wrestling club charging to him with the captain of the sumo looking like teenage Choji wearing only black pants with a red level II belt around the waist and sandles and the wresting captian look Broly in his legendary super saiyan form wearing red spandex with black combat boots wearing a level II headband.
"Damn." Davis muttered turning around and facing them.
"I'm Zuzu of the sumo club." The Choji look-a-like said grinning.
"And I'm Brock of the wresting club." The Broly look-a-like said smirking.
"And together we'll smash into nothingness!" They shouted slamming their fists together creating a shockwave that skidded Davis back from the force.
"Something tells me these guys are gonna be a problem." Davis said gripping the pin on his glove.
"Be ready Davis." Yoiketsu advised.
"Got it." Davis said pulling the pin. "Symbiotic Uniform Synchronize, Yoikestu!" Davis now donned in his armor pulled his blade in both hands got ready for the fight ahead of him.
"Get him!" Zuzu and Brock said as the sumos and wrestlers charged at Davis with him running towards them.
Davis punched a wrestler in the face and kicked a sumo in the gut but had to jump back as one sumo tried to drop kick him but he got punched in the gut by a wrestler and then another by a sumo making Daivs skid on his back into the rode before he backflipped himself back on his feet. Three sumos suddenly surrounded him and grabbed him squeezing him as four wrestlers started pounding him while Davis was bounded, getting tired of this Davis spun around and sliced them up with his blood blade absorbing their data before he got tackled by two more wrestlers.
Davis jumped up and kicked them in the chest making them stumble back before Davis sliced them up defeating them as well. Davis put his blade on his back and ran towards the upcomming group of sumo and wrestlers and engaged them in hand-to-hand combat fighting them off as hard as he can.
One wrestler got behind Davis and punched him from behind only for Davis to use his fists as a springboard and kicked him across the face, Davis then back punched a sumo behind him knocking him down before he used a sumo and a wrestlers face to jump back to gain some distance from them.
"Man these guys are a little difficult to deal with." Davis gritted.
"I think some of the hard hitters are starting to come after you." Yoiketsu said,
"Seems like it." Davis said taking his blade back out.
"You can't win against us Motomiya." Zuzu laughed.
"Yeah you're all alone." Brock smirked.
"No he's not!"
Everyone looked up to see Orihime standing on top of a streetlight before she jumped down standing right beside Davis.
"Orihime what are you doing here? It's not safe." Davis said.
"I'm here to help you Davis." Orihime pouted angrily at the people who were hurting her bestie.
"You? Help?" A wrestler asked.
"A little girl like you?" A sumo giggled.
"That's laughable!" Zuzu and Brock laughed making their clubs laugh too.
"Let's see you laugh after this!" Orihime shouted as pale yellow energy encase her before it became a tower of power.
"O-Orihime?!" Davis shouted shocked of what he was seeing.
"Davis I'm getting digimon data power comming from her!" Yoiketsu said.
"Seriously?!" Davis said.
"Kai Uniform BantyoLeomon power!" Orihime shouted as a black trenchcoat with a red interior came on her shoulder with bandage wrappins came on her forearms BantyoLeomon's head cap on her head with the wead in her mouth and a pink x necklace around her neck.
"What the hell?!" Zuzu shouted.
"Impossible! No level should'nt have this kind of power!" Brock growled.
"Orihime how did you get this power?" Davis asked.
"She got it from me, Davis." Davis turned around to see a GrapLeomon in a alley.
"BantyoLeomon?" Davis asked.
"I'm GrapLeomon now. I gave my power to Orihime cause she wanted to help fight with you, so I gave her the power to do so." GarpLeomon said.
"Thanks." Davis nodded before turning to Orihime. "Ready to fight?"
"You betcha I am!" Orihime smiled slamming her fists together.
"Get them!" Zuzu and Brock shouted as the sumo and wrestlers charged with Davis and Orihime doing the same.
Orihime jumped up and double kicked one sumo into three other knocking them all down two tried to sneak up behind her but she back punched them in the face knocking them down. She then jumped up and twirled around in a pale yellow tornado knocking some away into the road, buildings, or streetlight.
"You mess with my friend you mess with me! I am Orihime Oragame, Davis' Son Goku Academy's bestie! And while I'm around no one shall mess with said bestie! No one!" Orihime shouted bringing her arms to her sides as she glowed pale yellow in power with a BantyoLeomon behind her. "With the power and courage of BantyoLeomon, I will defeat you all!"
"That's my Orihime!" Davis shouted grinning as he plowed through the wrestlers one by one as if they were pickings.
"Surround them!" Zuzu shouted.
"Pin them in and corner them!" Brock yelled.
Davis and Orihime stood back to back as they were surrounded by sumos and wrestlers.
"Hey this is unfair!" Orihime pouted puffing out her cheeks and stomping her foot.
"Yeah well with guys like these they don't care about fairness Orihime." Davis said.
"Then let us even the odds!"
Everyone turned their heads to see Kari there with Nefertimon and Veemon but behind them was a shocker.
There were was Tai, Matt, Sora, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, Ken, Tk, Yolie, and Cody with Greymon, Garurumon, Birdramon, Kabuterimon, Togemon, Ikkakumon, Stingmon, Angemon, Aquilamon, and Ankylomon standing there grinning at them.
"Kari?" Davis asked.
"Hey Davis hope you don't mind but I told Tai and Ken you situation and they gave a stern talking to guys. And so where here to help." Kari smirked.
That's right the other two beind who were upset with how Davis has been treated were Tai and Ken.
"Hope you don't us getting in on this Davis." Veemon grinned.
"I don't think he will mind." Nefertimon laughed.
"You're not alone anymore Davis." Tai said.
"Not with us here." Ken said.
"Yeah!" The rest agreed.
"Alright! Friend power!" Orihime cheered raising her fist up in the air.
"Got that right." Davis breathed seeing everyone be here for him.
"Charge!" Kari commanded acting like a general as all the digidestined charge at the sumos and wrestlers.
"Attack!" Zuzu and Brock said.
"Orihime lets get in on this!" Davis smirked.
"Okey doky!" Orihime smiled.
"Bring them all in so Davis can take care of them!" Veemon said.
"Rosetta Stone!"
"Nova Blast!"
"Holwing Blaster!"
"Meteor Wing!"
"Electro Shocker!"
"Needle Spray!"
"Harpoon Torpedo!"
"Spiking Strike!"
"Hand of Fate!"
"Blast Rings!"
"Tail Hammer!"
All the digimon's attack was backing up the sumos and wrestlers into one large group was they were the ones that were now surrounded.
"Davis now!" Neferimon said.
"You got it!" Davis said jumping high in the air. "Yoi-Miracle-Thrasher!"

Davis sliced up the sumos and wrestlers uniforms to pieces as they turned into data and was absorbed into Yoiketsu.
"That takes care of them." Yoiketsu said.
"Yep. And only two more to go." Davis said turning to Zuzu and Brock putting his blade on his back.
"We're ready for you Motomiya." Zuzu said.
"We're gonna bash you up good." Brock said.
"Let's do this Davis!" Orihime shouted doing the old one two punches.
"Okay everyone stand back." Tai said,
"This is Davis and Orihime's battle now." Ken said.
The other agreed as the digimon dedigivolved back to their previous forms.
"Go Davis!" Sora, Matt, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, Tk, Yolie, and Cody said.
"Kick their asses!" Agumon, Biyomon, Gabumon, Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Wormmon, Patamon, Hawkmon, and Armadillomon said.
Davis and Brock ran towards each other and their hands meet trying to overpower the other with their strength before they raise their knees kneeing each other trying to push the other back til Davis jumped up and kicked him in the chest making him stagger back. Davis then charged at him and socked him across the face knocking him into a streetlight.
Brock got back up and double punched Davis in the chest before he then kicked him back as Davis skidded across the ground before he bakcflipped to his feet before they charge at each other again.
Orihime and Zuzu were trading blow for blows punching, kicking, and slamming into each other to try and get over the other until Orihime spinned around and kicked Zuzu in the gut kicking him in the air where Orihime jumped after and threw a barrage of punches all over his body.
When she was done Orihime rolled him around before throwing Zuzu down into the streets where Davis knocked Brock back and they collided knocking them both down.
"Ok Davis finish them!" Orihime shouted with her burning with intense fire.
"Rodger that!" Davis said running towards them and pulling his blade out. "Yoi-Miracle-Thrasher!" Davis sliced them defeated them leaving them naked as Davis' armor turned back to clothes and shrunk his sword back down before sticking it in his pocket.
"Alright Davis!" Everyone shouted.
"That's my bestie!" Orihime sqealed turning back to normal and flying towards Davis hugging him.
"Haha thanks!" Davis laughed.
"Just so you know this will be a regular thing." Veemon said as everyone walked up to him.
"And Davis, everyone has something they would like to say." Kari said looking at everyone except Tai and Ken expectivilly.
"We're sorry for the way we treated you! Please forgive us!" They all shouted bowing down on the ground in front of Davis surprising him.
"W-Well I uh..." Davis stunned not knowing what to say til he saw Kari, Gatomon, Veemon, Tai, Ken, and Orihime smiling at him making him smile too before he frown down at the group. "Just don't screw me over like that again!" Davis said pointing at them like a teacher would to their students.
"We promise!" They all said with Davis smiling down at them.
"Good." Davis said.
"Yeah! We're all friends!" Orihime shouted. "I call a group hug!"
Not seeing the problem everyone decided on a group hug showing they all cared for one another.
"Things are starting to look up." GraoLeomon smiled.
"That they are." Lira said appearing beside him looking at him. "And what you did was very king GrapLeomon. Thank you." Lira smiled.
"It was my plessure milady." GrapLeomon bowed before they both vanished.
Away from the group on top of a building was Ryoka looking down at the them.
