6. The Big 4 Part 1

Chapter 6 The Big 4 Part 1

"Take this bozos! Yoi-Miracle-Thrasher!" Davis said slicing through another club defeating them.

"Statis report." Ryoka said as they were watching a recording of Davis' last battle.

"It would appear he is getting stronger and has defeated 85% of our forces." Jermey said looking over the data.

"It seems like he's been getting some help from his friends as they back him uo in thise fights." Sai smirked seeing all the fight Davis has been through with the digidestined helping in a few. "I'm telling you, I'm itching to fight him."

"We cannot engage in battle with Motomiya unless Ladt Ryoka said so!" Bruce said scowling at the foorage of Davis.

"When will we have a crack of him Ryoka?" Viper asked swinging her band stick.

"Soon. Phase 3 is about to commence." Ryoka said seeing as Davis looked back at his defeated foes with a smirk on his face. "Either way Motomiya is falling into our hands."

...With Davis...

"Can someone pass the peas?"

"This food is great!"

"Hey, settle down."

"Hey! That was mine!"

These were the sounds of people having a good time as Davis invited the digidestined and Orihime with her family to have dinner at his house. And needless to say...

Everyone is having the time of their lives.

"Now this is how things should be!" Tai laughed.

"You got that right Tai." Sora giggled leaning on his shoulder.

"We agree!" Agumon and Biyomon said as the digimon were sitting on the floor.

"Hey where's Jun?" Tk asked.

"Oh she said she had to stay after school to help a teacher with some papers. She said she'll be by soon." Matt said.

"She acts like a secretary at school doesn't she?" Mimi asked.

"Not every so often." Izzy said.

"Which is surprising in a way." Tentomon said.

"Yeah with how Jun use to act back in the day." Palmon said only to get bopped on the head by Gabumon.

"Watch it. I wont have you talk about Matt's girlfriend like that." Gabumon grumbled.

"Haha! He's got you there!" Patamon laughed.

"Gomamon don't eat so much!" Joe said.

"Oh don't worry Joe there's plenty to go around." Gomamon assured as he continued to stuff his face with food.

"Everyone sure is lively." Alice giggled.

"Your food is the bomb Ms Motomiya!" Ruby said.

"Almost as good as out moms." Sapphire grinned.

"Oh well thank you." Ms Motomiya laughed.

"My wife sure does know how to cook." Mr Motomiya chuckled.

"You got that right!" Yolie yelled.

"It really is dilecious." Cody nodded.

"So dilecious you'd want seconds!" Armadillomon shouted.

"Indeed." Hawkmon agreed.

"No doubt." Wormmon said.

"In that case I'll take seconds." Ken grinned.

"Better hurry cause Veemon's taking thirds." Gatomon giggled.

"Not my fault the food's good." Veemon smiled.

Davis was smiling as everything was going around him watching everyone have a good time and laughing.

"Hey mom I'm done. I'm gonna go take a bath." Davis said.

"Ok sweety." Ms Motomiya said.

Davis got and headed on over to the bathroom missing how Ruby and Sapphire stopped eating and looked at him.

As the bath was getting ready Davis was removing the blazer and the shirt but he stopped at the pants chuckling a bit.

"What's so funny?" Yoiketsu asked.

"It's just that my life seems to back to the way I wanted to be." Davis smiled.

"How do you mean?" Yoiketsu wondered.

"I mean surrounded my friends, family, and people that really care for me. I mean Jun got me to talk to mom and dad about how I've been feeling and look at them, we're all happy again." Davis chuckled.

"It seems that life for you is finally turning around for the better." Yoiketsu said.

"Yeah it is." Davis smiled softly. "The only down side.." Davis frowned as he opened the bathroom door to see Ruby and Sapphire bended down smiling pervertedly with blood dripping down to nose. "IS ALL THE PEEPING TOMS!" Davis shouted kicking Ruby and Sapphire away as they bounced on the walls and into the living room.

After that was settled Davis relaxed into the tub enjoying the hot water on his skin washing his troubles away. Just then the door opened up making Davis turn his head to see Kari walk in with just a towel around her body smiling at Davis.

"Mind if I join in?" Kari asked.

"Not at all, but what would everyone else think?" Davis asked.

"Everyone else is sleep so it's just you and me that's up." Kari said taking the towel off and sitting in the tub with Davis. "But on the side not you seem to taking it ok seeing me naked."

"Yeah well when your fighting a evil school and stripping students of their data clothes you get use to seeing a naked body." Davis said before smirking. "Though if I'm honest with myself your body really takes the cake."

"Oh really?" Kari smirked as she crawled over to Davis. "So you like my body huh?"

"Not just your body, but you as well." Davis smiled softly.

"Well maybe I like you too." Kari smiled lovingly.

Davis and Kari neared their faces closer to each other before they kissed passionatly wrapping their arms around each other hugging one another tightly.

While this was happening Yoiketsu was hanging on the wall watching them and he couldn't be any happeir for Davis.

"I can feel the darkness in Davis' heart getting warmer and warmer. I'm happy that your life is getting back to normal Davis." Yoiketsu thought and if he could he would be smiling.

...The next day...

Davis was skateboarding his way to school with a big grin on his face.

"Life is so good to me right now!" Davis yelled throwing his hands in the air.

"You sure seem happy." Yoiketsu pointed out.

"Of course I'm happy! Me and Kari are finally together after eveything I've been through. Nothing could possibly making this grin on my face vanish." Davis said.

Just then a pole was thrown in Davis' path making him screech to a stop least he ride into it. Upon closer expection he saw a note was taped to it adressed to him.

Davis Motomiya

Your are hereby challenge to fight against the Elite 4 meet us at the academy ground after school were an arena will be put up for us to have our fight.

Signed the Elite 4

Davis frowned clentching his fists tightly.

"Looks like I'm gonna be taking on the big 4." Davis muttered.

"You should be careful Davis. There's a reason why they're called the Elite 4, they're on a whole other level from the ones you've been fighting for months." Yoiketsu advised.

"I know." Davis said making his way to school.

When he got there he saw every student looking at him and whispering to themselves about him.

"Did you hear?"

"Yeah, Motomiya's gonna take on the Elite 4."

"With all the fighting he's been doing how do you think he'll do?"

"The Elite 4's gonna own him."

"I can't wait to see this fight."

Davis decided to ignore the rest cause he had to get himself pumped up for the battle ahead of himself as he walked into the emtpy classroom.

"Davis!" Davis turned his head to see Orihime flying at him so stepping back he grabbed Orihime and twirled her around before setting her down on the floor. "Davis I just heard you're gonna be taking on the Elite 4. I'm so excited!" She beamed raising her fist in the air.

"How come?" Davis asked.

"Because I know you're gonna kick some major butt!" Orihime said jumping in place and throwing her fists around.

"Thanks Orihime." Davis chuckled.

"Oh I see you two are the first ones in the class." Lira smiled walking in the room.

"Ms. Lira did you hear that Davis is going to take on the Elite 4?!" Orihime said.

"Yes, I did it'll be a fight to remember." Lira nodded her head.

"You bet it is and I'm going to che.." Orihime said before Lira poked Orihime's forehead as she glowed purple and froze in place.

"What did you do to Orihime?" Davis asked Lira.

"I froze her so we could talk." Lira said looking at Davis. "Davis I don't think you should fight the Elite 4 today."

"What? Why?" Davis asked.

"Because they're in a whole other league then the level I's and II's you're used to fighting against." Lira said.

"I know that, but I'm so close to bringing down Dragomon's army. I defeat the Elite 4 then I fight Ryoka and when I beat her all pf Dragomon's froxes are down."

"I'm not so sure about that Davis."

"What do you mean?"

"Last week all of the digimon working for Dragomon suddenly stopped battling our forces and have gone off the grid. We have'nt been able to find any of them so we used that oppertunity to take back some of the lands they've taken."

"I don't understand, isn't that a good thing?"

"It should be, but for it to suddenly happen so fast at the same time you're making a dent in Dragomon's army here in Son Goku Academy, something seems off."

That had Davis thinking that maybe what Lira was saying was true.

"And you're thinking that Ryoka and Dragomon are up to something big, don't you?" Davis theroized.

"Yes, which is why I don't want you to fight the Elite 4." Lira said.

"But look Lira even if something is going on we can't stop now that we're so close. I have to fight the Elite 4 to put a real dent in their forces. I promise to be careful, but I have to do this." Davis said with conviction.

Lira looked into Davis' eyes to see he is bent on doing this if it'll give them an edge making her sigh.

"Alright I trust you Davis." Lira smiled making Davis smile too.

"Thanks Lira. I promise I wont let you down." Davis said.

"I know you wont. And I'll message the others to come here so they can see you fight." Lira said.

"Ok." Davis nodded. "Now can you please unfreeze Orihime. For some reason hearing her babble always puts me at ease."

"No problem." Lira giggled poking Orihime and unfreezing her.

"..ering for Davis all the way! To give him encouragement and confidence to win the battle ahead of him!" Orihime finished as she cheered.

"Yes, yes I will be cheering for him too. After all I am his teacher." Lira nodded.

"Great!" Orihime smiled.

Once all the other students got in the classroom Lira began her lesson as everyone payed attention while some were anxious about the fight that was going to happen between Davis and the Elite 4.

...With the digidestined...

Kari was humming a happy tune as she and the other left the school building as class was over meaning they can all go home.

"Man Kari you've been in a good mood all morning." Tk chuckled.

"I wonder why?" Cody asked.

"It's cause she and Davis are now going out." Veemon smirked.

"No way!" The other shouted smiling their faces off.

"It's true I saw Kari sleeping in Davis' bed this morning." Gatomon giggled.

"Oh you have got to tell us everything girl!" Yolie said shaking Kari.

"O-Ok, take it e-easy Yolie." Kari chuckled.

But before she could her D-Terminal went off.

"You got a message Kari." Ken said.

Opening her D-Terminal Kari read the message before narroing her eyes.

"Everything ok Kari?" Wormmon asked.

"No I just got a message from Lira that's saying that Davis got challenged to take on the Elite 4 today." Kari said surprising everyone.

"Who's Lira again?" Armadillomon asked.

"Lilithmon in disguise." Hawkmon said.

"We need to get Tai and the others." Kari said as everyone nodded their heads.

...At Son Goku Academy...

Davis was standing before a arena that looked like the one from the Cell games on DBZ except it was 50 stories high up with screens under the arena so people could watch the fight and on the spike were the Elite 4 as all four were looking down on him. Around them were bleachers that was filled with people and students here to watch the match. On top of the building of the academy stood Ryoka looking down on everything looking like some queen using her sword as a cane like always.

"So am I suppose to fight all four of you at the same time or what?" Davis asked frowning at the Elite 4.

"Negative Motomiya. You will be facing each of us on one-on-one battles. Starting with me." Bruce said jumping in the middle of the arena as Davis walked in the middle meeting him. "I am Lady Ryoka indestructable shield, if you want to get to her you have to go through me!" Bruce delared looking down on Davis.

"Then that's what I'll do!" Davis shouted pulling the pin off his glove. "Symbiotic Uniform Synchronize, Yoikestu!" After he transformed Davis got his blade out ready for a fight.

"My turn!" Bruce smirked as his uniform glowed green. "Level III Kai Uniform!" His uniform flashed blinding everyone from the view, when the light went down it showed Bruce was wearing MegaGargomon armor and helmet as he pounded his fists together. "MegaGargo Regalia!"

"That's big armor." Davis muttered.

In the stands the digidestined were sitting with Orihime preparing to watch the fight about to commence.

"That Bruce guy is big." Mimi said.

"Tell me about it." Palmon agreed.

"What I can't believe is that a whole arena was made in a afternoon." Tentomon said.

"Well according to Davis the people here are ignorant to everything around them as long as they get paid well and the education is good." Izzy said.

"Sound like the ideal school to be in." Biyomon said.

"Sadly this school is being used into making a army for Dragomon." Gabumon.

"Anyway we should be cheering Davis on for his fights." Matt said.

"Right on." Sora agreed.

"But the Bruce guy looked like he'll be a challenge." Agumon said.

"Don't worry I bet Davis can handle him." Tai assured.

"That's what I'm hopping for." Kari prayed.

"Let's go Davis! Show em who's boss!" Orihime shouted.

"Come on Davis." Veemon encouraged.

"Show him what your made of." Gatomon said.

In a different classroom near the windows was Lira looking out at the arena.

"Good luck Davis, you need it." Lira muttered.

"The first match between Davis Motomiya and Bruce Igama, will now begin!" Ryoka said.

As soon as that was declared Davis and Bruce speeded at each other and they clashed with Davis using his blade and Bruce using his gauntlets trying to push the other back. Bruce lifted up his left leg and kicked Davis in the gut making him stumble back.

"Mega Power Pummel!" Bruce's arms glowed green and jabs his fists at Davis who either dodged or blocked a few hit while nicked him here and there.

"Dawn Fist!" Davis put his sword on his back and jumped up with his fists turning into shadowy fogs and matched Bruce's blow for blow.

"You're drive is weak Motomiya!" Bruce shouted slamming his knee into Davis' gut but he blocked it with his arms only to have Bruce hit him in the face with his left elbow and uppercutted him in the air.

"My drive is plenty strong pal." Davis growled righting himself up and swifted kicked his right leg at Bruce's face only for him to block it with his forearms, but then Davis twirled the other direction and managed to kick Bruce along the face making him stagger back. "Now to finish this quickly! Yoi-Miracle-Thrasher!"

When Davis slashed at Bruce nothing happened.

"Nothing happend!" Davis shouted.

"It's his armor." Yoiketsu said.

"You can't get through my armor with you finishing move alone. It's as hard as diamonds! Ha! If that is all you can manage then you'll never even lay a finger on Lady Ryoka!" Bruce declared as gun compartments opened on his armor. "I am the Disciplinary Chair Bruce Igama! It is my job to straighten out punks like you in to fine students! Mega Barrage!" Bruce fired missles, energy bullets, everything in his arsenal at Davis.

"I'm a fine student in my own right! Blade Slash Barrage!" Davis pulled out his blade and slashed away at the air making red slashes go and meet Bruce's attacks creating smoke and booms noises everywhere.

"You say that now, but no student would come school and dress in the same revealing matter you have!" Bruce ran up to Davis and raised his arms and slammed his forearms to Davis who blocked it with his blade and made the two part take in a struggle. "It's shameful! A total disrespect to Son Goku Academy AND Lady Ryoka!"

"What about your precious Lady Ryoka?! She dresses in the same matter when she uses her Symbiotic Uniform!" Davis shouted slashing his sword away, jumped up and double kicked Bruce in the chest gaining himself some distance. "Blade Slash Barrage!" He fired his blade slashes again at Bruce.

"Lady Ryoka is an acceptation! Mega Barrage!" Bruce fired his missles again at Davis' attack snuffling them out as the rest fired everywhere and at Davis.

"What?!" Davis yelled as he ran around the arena jumping and rolling around to not get hit by the barrages.

"Lady Ryoka's visions are purest of point! Everything she does and says has valid meaning with her iron will! Everything Lady Ryoka is ideal and acceptable!" Bruce said not leading up on his barrage as he fired off more ammo.

"Oh blow it out of your ass! That's so hipocrital!" Davis shouted as he stopped and began slashing away at the barrage destroying them around him.

"Be that as it may, that does not dismiss the fact you are a threat to Lady Ryoka's vision!" Bruce shouted.

"My my it seems like the new boy is having trouble with Bruce." Viper smiled leaned her head to the side as a missle passed her head.

"No surprise there after all the rabbit's performing in front of his queen." Jeremy said pushing up his glasses and jumped up to have a missle miss him.

"This is turning out to be a good match!" Sai grinned ducking under a missle.

Davis missed a food step and had a missle hit him in the chest and that set off a chain reaction as the other missles collided into Davis pushing him towards the edge of the ring.

"Known fact Motomiya! If you're pushed off the edge of the ring you automatically lose!" Bruce shouted.

"Don't spout out shit like that at the last second asshole!" Davis yelled stabbing his blade into the ground and jumped over the rest of the barrage flipping until he landed in front of Bruce huffing and puffing. "I'm so gonna kick your ass."

"We'll see about that after I lose some weight." Bruce smirked.

"Huh?" Davis wondered.

"Level III Kai Uniform! Mass Armor Off!" Bruce said as his armor fell off with a green light blinding everything, when it went down all the MegaGargomon armor as laying down on the floor and Bruce was standing in Rapid armor instead. "Rapid Regalia!"

"What the hell?!" Davis shouted.

"No way!" The digidestined yelled.

"Igama change his armor for another!" Orihime wailed moving her arms in a comical fashion.

"A second transformation?" Yoiketsu asked intrigued.

"This isn't the time to be impressed Yoiketsu." Davis growled.

"I'm just thinking of something." Yoiketsu said.

"My second form Rapid Regalia is built for speed were my MegaGargo Regalia is built for power! I can't use it for long as I only use it to cool off my MegaGargo armor." Bruce smirked slamming his fists together. "Let's see if you can keep up with me Motomiya!"

Bruce disappeared and reappeared behind Davis kicking him up in the air. Davis righted himself up and looked down the arena to see Bruce gone, feeling something on the side Davis looked to see Bruce right there before he punched him and sent him flying. Bruce appeared before Davis and hit him again, and the process turned into Davis being whacked around like a pinball machine.

"Davis!" Kari, Orhime, Veemon, and Gatomon shouted.

"Oh man he's getting pummeled out there!" Gomamon said.

"We see that Gomamon!" Tai seethed.

"You sure can take the punishment Motomiya!" Bruce said uppercutting Davis in the air as he landed near his armor and put it back on into MegaGargo Regalia. "Lets see you take it when I mold you into a Son Goku Academy student!"

"L-Like hell!" Davis said rightning himself up and dived at Bruce raising his blade up.

Only for Bruce to swing his left arm knocking it out of Davis' hand and stick into the arena.

"Shit!" Davis growled.

"And now to mold you!" Bruce shouted as his gauntlets turned into large squares with a hold of a male wearing the school uniform for boys. "A proper spirit starts with a proper shape! Have a taste of this mold and reflect on your wicked ways!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAARRRGGHH!" Bruce slam the molds into Davis crushing him as he screamed in pain.

"He's crushing Davis like a pancake!" Orihime said worridly.

"Come on Davis. I know you can do it." Kari said bringing her hands together.

"I won't give up! I'll keep at it and relentlessly try to straighten you out! Into a proper student!" Bruce shouted crushing Davis harder.

"Do you want to win, Davis?" Yoiketsu asked looking up at Davis.

"What kind of question is that of course I want to win!" Davis snapped.

"If you do, I have an idea." Yoiketsu said.

"Was it that thing you were thinking about earlier?" Davis asked.

"Yes. Will you let me handle this?" Yoiketsu asked.

"You got it!" Davis said as he spun around getting him out of the mold but he transformed back into his clothes trying to catch his breath.

"Ah, he used the power of his transformation disengaging to break free of the mold. Nice work." Lira mussed. "But he doesn't have a hope of winning like that."

"Oh, so my words finally got through to you huh?" Bruce smirked. "I see that you returned to a more proper appearance!"

"Bite it out my ass you clown!" Davis shouted. "Like I would ever listen to you!"

"In that case, taste the ultimate whip of discipline!" Bruce shouted as he fired a barrage of missled at Davis that this time had whipe attached to them.

"Look out!" The group shouted.

Davis jumped up as some whip missles missed him while he grabbed a few of them.

"Foolish Motomiya!" Bruce said pulling his whips towards him wrapping Davis up in it, his gauntlets morphing into molds and crushing Davis again."This is the end for you Motomiya! It's over! Without your Blood Blade you have no way to fight back!"

Davis only grunted trying to move.

"Uh oh. I guess it's over." Viper grinned.

"A shame, I wanted to gather more Symbiotic Uniform data." Jeremy sighed.

Sai noticed red energy comming out of the molds getting his attention.

"Wait, what's going on?" Sai asked getting Jeremy and Viper's attention.

"You're a fool Bruce." Ryoka said closing her eyes.

"Symbiotic Uniform Synchronize...!" Davis growled pulling the pin from glove using his teeth as his body flashed red.

That were the sounds that everyone heard as hot slash marks were all over Bruce's armor leaving majority of skin out in the open.

"W-What the?!" Bruce asked stumbling back in shock.

"Yoiketsu Heat Blade!" Davis roared showing everyone he claws that looked Flamedramon's comming out him gauntlets, feet, shoulder pads, chestplate, and the horns but they were all blood red with a yellow tint looking like lava.

"H-He turned his Symbiotic Uniform into a blade?!" Bruce shouted.

Davis back flipped away from Bruce grabbing his blood blade.

"Most of your armor's gone now so you're weakend!" Davis shouted as Bruce tried to get up. "Too late!" Red energy jetted out of Davis' waist armor and shoulder pads jetting towards Bruce. "Now your data is mine! Finishing Move: Yoi-Miracle-Thrasher!" Davis sliced what remained of Bruce armor as it dispersed into data.

"I-Impossible!" Bruce muttered as Davis stood tall absorbing the data from Bruce's uniform as Bruce fell on the ground knocked out.

"Even with dedication and resolve it turned into arrogance. What a shame. Winner of round 1: Davis Motomiya!" Ryoka declared as eveyone erupted in cheers.

"You did it, Davis!" Kari and Orihime shouted.

"Alright!" The rest shouted.

"Just like you planned, Yoiketsu!" Davis smiled at him as he turn back into his clothes.

"If a Kai Unifrom can have a second transform, then why can't I?" Yoiketsu said in a voice that sounded please with himself.

"It's that kind of thinking I love about you, Yoiketsu!" Davis grinned patting the blazer.

"Yoiketsu learned to alter his configuration based on the battlefield conditions. I'm impressed, Davis." Lira smiled softly before frowning. "Still I wish I could be happy for you, but you still have trouble ahead of you."

"That's one down, Kuchiki!" Davis smirked resting his blade on his shoulders.

"I suppose that means..." Davis looked to see Jermey jump down and landed down on the arena pushing up his glasses. "...that I will be your next opponent, Motomiya."

Davis just humped as it didn't matter to him.

"You are free to rest, Motomiya!" Ryoka said.

"Yeah right! Get real!" Davis shouted pointing his blade at Ryoka. "I gotta waste your chumps and then come after you!"

"Davis..." Orihime whispered.

"Be careful." Kari breathed.

"Okay then four-eyes, let's do this." Davis said resting his blade on his shoulders again.

"So impatient..." Jermey sighed shaking his head before lookin at Davis smiling. "Still, I hate to waste time too."

With that they looked at each other as round 2 was about to begin.

Davis managed to defeat Bruce and gain a new mode. But will it be enough to help him in the next fight? Find out on the next Digimon: The Dark Fighter!
