Chapter 5

Hei was stealthic. He could sneak up on himself and not even know it. He was cautious, taking every step separately and expertly, until he snuck up behind and Sanji turned so suddenly he screamed and flung everything out of his arms and everyone could see them stretching their necks to have a better view.

"Damn you Hei. How many times have I told you not to do that?" Sanji bent over to pick up the stack of papers then sat down at the small diner table, Hei stood over him slightly grinning but barely. Sanji's thin dirty blond hair was cut unevenly in the front and flung everywhere as he picked up his missiled documents. Usually he would be yelling at him now to stop being a creeper and stop wearing black all the time but he only resembled the Sanji Hei new with the red and gold bracelet he always had on and khakis.

"You're in a bad mood." Hei noted monotone, still standing.

"Oh? What gave it away?" Sanji sighed looking down at his papers. He waited a few moments for his guest to say something but Hei never spoke. "Why are you still standing? Sit. Sit." Hei only looked at him. Sanji sighed again and slid the stack into a suitcase and placed it under the table. "What is it you want now, Black Reaper?"

That is when Hei took a seat. He slid his phone across the table, Sanji caught it. "I need all the files on everyone who works for the Irish Syndicate transferred and coded."

Sanji looked once at the phone then placed it upside down on the table. "You're not in Tokyo anymore. There is no Syndicate." Hei was visibly confused. "What you might be referring to is the Irish Sanctuary. They're like a Syndicate but with more hassle and bigger secrecy, so in the off run a lot more people go missing for sneaking through their stuff and you want me to get myself killed when you don't even know what your up against? I'm gonna need one hell of a payment Black Reaper."

"Salis Nadir. Can you get me that much?"

"Did you not hear what I just said?" Hei made no indication he was going to respond as he took up the menu. Sanji sighed drastically, "not to mention they completely compacted on with people with... powers like you."

That got Hei's attention. "What do you mean powers?" The waiter came by and he handed him the menu, Hei whispered his order quickly in his ear and the waiter paled considerably then walked away fast tripping a couple of steps.

"I mean they can do stuff. All of them, even the head honcho. They are all contractors but not either." Hei leaned forward, "what's that supposed to mean?"

"They can do things ordinary people, like me, can't do. There's no one in the world that can hack a computer system with great skills and grace as I," Sanji lifted his head and put his hand to his chest. He looked at Hei's unchanging face and got serious again, "but they could make the world come down on all of us if they wanted. Hell, they just did almost a week ago. But the really off part is that none of them have payment, unless they have a star credit card then I have never been able to find out a single contractors restriction."

"Can you or can you not get me Salis Nadir?" Hei responded.

"You're being souly stubborn about this. Should I even ask if I get legitimate payment after whatever crap you dig up is blown up, but not use the money in this country?"

Hei nodded and handed him a bulging envelope. "That's the first of four others." Sanji stuck the money in his shirt quickly then took out a data chip and placed it in the phone. A few minutes later the phone beeped and the screen was red.

"I don't know what kind of shit your doing but don't bring it to me. I already have to put up with a nosey wife." He handed Hei his phone. "Whatever I manage to pull out of their system will automatically be sent to you."

Hei stood from the table and nodded his thanks. Sanji thought Hei was heading toward the exit when he went to the front reservation counter. Fifteen take out boxes and two calls for the manager to help ring up the cashier later, Hei walked out with brunch. Sanji waited thirty minutes before grabbing his suitcase and leaving knowing sooner or later the Sanctuary would know he was there.
