Chapter 2: The Problem
Everything is going bad. The viroids started to go through my shields and I ended up putting two barriers for the price of one. I have to leave and search for the three that I asked to look for the cure. I hope they find the answers. I found several mechanaloids somewhere outside going berserk. I tried to handle it. However, I do know that I needed help but I needed their help. Right now as the days going by these things are started to go through even my toughest barriers. I am in serious help.
"Priestess art, Flow of the spirits," I said as I make lots of energy waves hitting the mechanaloid. Then it went on attacking me. I thought I was going to die and I fail protecting the capsules. I closed my eyes and waited for the impact that comes from the mechanaloid. It never came. I open my eyes and find a ninja standing in front of me. I looked around and find the two people who travel with the ninja. Terra, Kira and Lotus have came to rescue me. The three handled the mechanaloid as I stood there. I stood up and looked at the group.
"I thank you this time," I said. Terra looks at me with a smile. She is the only one in the group that seems to speak to me.
"No problem. Though what do you mean that the viroids are not your problem," said Terra trying to get questions.
"My main concern is what I am guarding. However, I did entrust your group that tends to go outside of my reach to find the cure. If the cure is found then I surely am going to be relieved," I said.
"Well I am sorry. The schematics you gave us and the log has been in the enemy's hands. Someone does not want us to find a cure. All we are going to do is making sure that the activities of the viroids and berserk mechanaloids are taken care of.," said Terra.
"I am requesting you to follow me," I said. Terra, Kira, and Lotus looked shock and followed. I lead them to one of my double barriers which the group saw the viroids are trying to penetrate the barriers.
"I never thought they were this sneaky. Well time to kill them," said Terra. Lotus holds her back.
"Patients is a virtue. We might as well let Kira handle this," said Lotus. Terra smiled and nodded. The red reploid with purple hair went in and I release the first barrier. The virus start going into her and somehow Kira been infected by six of them then all six burst right open after few minutes. Kira has this red aura around that I did not like. Something about it just starts to put me on my defense. The viruses has been defeated and I am now worried. The purple hair reploid name Kira turns back to normal. I looked at her and that strong feeling has left. Something about that feeling reminds me of my powers I kept condensed. It is almost the same. The only difference that my condensed powers are shadow and this one felt like fire demonic fire. Terra smiles as the red armor reploid finally calms down. I walk towards her and the aura pass and the red armor purple hair reploid has now finally look back to normal.
"Are you ok?" I asked. The reploid looks at me and saw my concern and look at me.
"I am fine. I will be ok for a while pink," said the purple hair reploid. I look at her and sighs.
"Priestess. My name is Priestess," I said. The reploid then turn to me as she looks at me.
"I am Kira Wily. I am also known as 'Daughter of Zero.' You can call me either one," said Kira.
"Ah so that is your name," said Terra as she smiles, "Well at least it is a pretty name. Better than being called Terry Sky. But then again, it is a good name." I start walking and my two bells that are silent now rings. I froze. I know something is about to happen with my capsules.
"I am sorry I have to go. I do think something is after what have I been guarding," I said. I left in a hurry. I check and sure enough I found six reploids near the capsule area. I hide.
"Wow this is a nice laboratory of some sort. I wonder what we will find here," said one that is in green clothing and black hair. The others were same color of clothing but with different color of hair. The gender of all of them were males.
"Lets find out what was here so we can leave. We might find something valuable and something interesting. If we do we take it with us," said the orange hair who is leading the group. One runs toward the capsules.
"Captain sir. I find 16 capsules. Three of them are human by the looks of them. The rest look like they are reploids," said the blue hair person. The others follow him as I follow those trespassers. They all entered and saw the capsules.
"Oh boy what you look at that. Capsules with people inside. We can brainwash the reploids to do our bidding and the humans we can make a story up to get them work for us," said a brown hair person.
"And not only that but we can sell the capsules. We will make a fortune out of it," said a blonde hair color person.
"We will take the capsules along with its content with us. We can extract all the data in the computers," said the orange hair again.
"I will start on it," said a bald person who I can tell the sub armor is light complex. My bells start ringing loud as they are moving Mary's capsule first. I walked in and everyone looked at me. Now I saw their eyes. All were either light or tanned color shaded sub armor skin and all have brown eyes.
"Miss I ask you to leave this is a government's property," said the Brown hair person. I did not move.
"Hey did you hear what he said so buzz off," said a black hair person. The orange came towards me.
"Either move or I will kill you where you are standing," said the orange one. Now that is a threat.
"Who give you the right to burst into my home. This is a private lab and it is my lab. I have been watching all of you since I found you in that room. Now I am going to give you a chance to leave or I will take action," I said. The others laugh at me. Oh they are so going to regret this. The orange one tries to do a swoop with his sword. I caught it. I look at him and smile.
"Now it is my turn," I said as he felt something went through his armor. He did not have a chance to react or felt it coming. He look down and he was bleeding and sparking. I grabbed his sword and decapitate his head.
"Start shooting," said the bald guy as he tried to punch something on the computer. The others were pulling out their busters and try to go against me. I got close to the bald guy and did the same at the orange hair guy, decapitate. I the black hair pulled a device and again the viroids came.
"I got to thank Terra for having the information on her room where I lock picked her room and grabbed the information of the Viroid schematics," said the blonde guy. Now I know what happen. I am the one who gave it to her and these people not only violate my stuff but others as well.
"Priestess art, multi dragon spirit waves," I said. The dragon waves got the viroids, brown, black, and blue hair reploids. The blonde was left as he looks at me.
"I will get you for this. I will make sure that the capsules will be sold and the content will be under my control," said the blonde hair as he left in a warping speed. I felt exhausted. There were two viroids coming after me and try to attack me. I saw something flew and killed those two viroids. I looked at the direction where I saw it flies. It was two shurikens. The shurikens are energy based but I saw them. I turned around and saw the ninja and her comrades that she travels with. I fainted of exhaustion. In my shut down period. I heard my bell went off.
"Someone is touching Mary's capsule. Curse my exhaustion state," I said but really I did not speak. A mere thought. The bells kept ringing each time as I am getting annoyed. I tried to get myself up but even in my spirit I am not fully awake. The last time I heard the bell it was violently loud and I woke up. Both spirit and physical. I look around and I was in a table lying down. I shot up and looked around. The human named Terra looked at me.
"Well it seem you are well," said Terra. I tried to get up and she put be back down.
"I must," I said too softly. I looked down where I saw a blanket on me that I did not thought there was one.
"Easy there Priestess. Your functions are not too well. My friends and I manage to put one of the capsules back to where it was before," said Terra. I looked at her and still be silent.
"We finish moving the capsule back," said Kira then she looked at me surprised that I was awake.
"Nice job," said Terra as she finally lets go of me. I did not move at all as I felt motionless.
"Oh you are awake. Well then you can answer me this. Does the capsule contain something? From my eyes I saw a human on the one I moved back," said Kira. I did not answer.
"Priestess??" asked Terra. I still did not answer them back. The ninja looked at me.
"It is wise for us to leave. She might still be in shock from the people trying to rob them," said the ninja. Then I started to speak loud.
"You three supposed not to come here then again so were those six who were here earlier. One escaped out of my abilities range as for the others died along with the viroids. However, those same ones have the schematics I gave to all of you," I said, "The people in the capsules are a hibernation state. Three of the capsules are humans and their gender of all three are females. The rest are reploids. I was in strict order not to let anyone in here and guard these places. However, I would have failed if you three has not shown up."
"Why the humans are in those capsules?" asked Kira as I look at her. I did not thought she would ask me.
"They choose out of their free will to be in those capsules. They wanted to help the reploids out when necessary. I volunteer to help them out by guarding," I said.
"So the reploids know as well that they are in capsules?" asked Terra to me. I look down.
"Some do know and some do not know. Those that do not know would have been dead a long time ago. They have been repaired and put in the capsule. However, it is too early to tell what to do in this time," I said.
