Chapter 5: Terra's Decision
Days has passed and Terra is almost dead from the viroid infection. Kira and Lotus had decided to leave her with me for the rest of the time. Those two kept guarding while I am in the part of the laboratory that I was created in. It is separated from the capsule room. However this is where I was instructed to save a human's life by transforming them into a reploid. Mainly the human name Gwen who is also called Magician. I keep extra guard on Mary until the 200 years are up. Terra lied there waiting for death.
"Terra," I asked. Terra looked at me. I do not know if she wanted this or not but there is no harm asking her.
"Yes, priestess," said Terra as she sounded sad. I swallow my nervousness and sighed.
"Terra, I do not know if you know this but. I am instructed a long time ago if any of the human capsules were broken in anyway shape or form and the humans that is inside is going to die. I am instructed to transfer their memories and everything in a chip and create them into a reploid. However, in this case I am giving you this offer. Only thing is if you do so. It will be on your free will. Not by force," I said. Terra looked at me and looked at the screen.
"I do not know how much longer until the viroid will kill me. It may be a day or two. But I will have my decision before my time is up," said Terra. I nodded.
"Though I won't be surprised that everything that viroid do is part of a plan for someone when it is controlled," I said.
"I have a feeling that the viroid wars will continue on. It is wiping several humanoids, humans, and reploids already. Cyber Elves also felt that it is taking a toll on them. However, there is a huge group of them that hides within the Earth's core to under the earth's surface. Those that can go there," said Terra.
"I think there is no end to any wars. When one ended, a new one begins. It has been in the history of this world. Things like this question one's actions," I said, "Even holy people like me."
"Priestess. I know the world will have wars. Humans have it for centuries. When humans first build machines we used them for the art of war. Then the robot age. Humans used them for the same reason. Weapons of war. When we as humans make reploids, both races humans and reploids have the same mentality. And go to war against each other. No matter what war it being fought a war is a war. Nothing else. Most has to face that fact that we can deny one thing but we cannot deny that this world will continue to fight in a war that is caused by our own selves. Not by an outside source. Each war brings new mentality to each person. From stereotypes to racial remarks. Human and reploids went through this even humanoids," said Terra. I knew that point she was saying something truthful. It is odd. I believed that humans were the ones denying anything that they know is the truth.
"So life itself is not a product of wars we are. Though we are also have the ability to bring peace. However, Peace does not last forever as well wars are. I just hope that there isn't many people who died from the wars we had created," I said. Then both of us heard noises. My bells went violently.
"I better get going the capsules might be in danger," I said. Terra nodded and sighs. I warped out of there. The first thing I found was Kira and Lotus attacking the intruder. This time the same intruder has back up of several. Kira is down. Lotus managed to use her full potential ability.
"Secret Ninja Art. Secrets of the Dark Lotus," said Lotus as the room went dark. My bells shake so hard that I am on defense. After the darkness went to light, all I saw was a bunch of pieces on the floor. The intruder guy smiles as he looked at Lotus. He left and I think Kira was right that she had been scanned. Lotus now had been scanned.
"He is scanning both of you. He probably will go after me later on," I said. Kira and Lotus looked at me.
"He knows us two well that we don't go down without a fight. However, he knows Terra is going to die and she can't do anything right now," said Kira.
"Like I said it will be in the matter of time until he kills us all and use the people in the capsules. I am afraid that we might lose them all," I said.
"Then we has to be more careful. We might have to combine our attacks and we might have to alternate every turn," said Lotus.
"I do hope you are right. I better check on Terra once more. I will keep both of you informed if she is gone," I said. The two knows that it is not time to worried about their soon to be fallen comrade. Though I can tell emotionally they are not prepared for guarding the capsules and knowing their friend is dead. I went where Terra was at and try not to look sad.
"I see what happened from the surveillance. He did scanned Lotus. I have a feeling that he already scanned Kira. All he needs is you and me," said Terra. I looked at her puzzled.
"Wh," I said as she interrupted me with her coughs and she looked like she wants to speak.
"I have made my decision. The instructions that you were supposed to do when a human is dying. Turning them into reploid. I decided that I want to be the first person for that," said Terra. I looked at the human in shock.
"Are you sure? Once you are a reploid there is no turning back," I said. She looked at me.
"I know it is a one shot deal, but I am willing to take the risk and also all three of you needed me. Like this I can offer my help to guard the capsules and plus the thief will not know what to do. He can't have all four potentials and plus he has to see me fight in the reploid form," said Terra.
"Ok I must do this quickly. Remember there is no going back on your word if you want this," I said.
"I made up my mind and it is clear I want to do this," said Terra. I nodded and started to get the chip. I pulled several cords in a helmet that I attach the chip to. The chip is the super chip that can hold all of the humans thoughts, emotions, personalities, and memories.
"This process will take an hour or so. I will get starting building the body," I said. Terra nodded. I went to go find the parts that I dismantled 40 years ago. I started to assembled all the parts. However, I make the sub armor color the same tone as her skin color. Her hair is green color like how her eyes were and her eyes are this orange color.
"You can add the armor I am wearing to the reploid body," said Terra. I nodded and picked out some clothes.
"Well if I am going to do that then I suggest you picked the clothes for the human body to be buried on," I replied.
"The yellow with a tint of black shirt with the pants to match it. That is the color of my armor and that is the color of the clothes that this body will be buried on," said Terra.
"Also there is something I want to tell you. Do you mind if the reploid hair color is green and the eyes are orange, or do you prefer your own eye and hair color," I said.
"No. That is fine. I do not care for eye color and hair color. I died my hair millions of time to be green before. You can tell that I have tints of green in my hair. The orange color reminds me of my dad visor in the light. Although his visor is really red. Which it is fine," said Terra.
"Ok I am waiting then for the chip to be done now," I said. Terra nodded as she closed her eyes.
"I never thought that it is possible for a human to become a reploid," said a voice. I turned everywhere and found Lotus in the ceiling. I looked at her.
"It is possible. It is a long process for it to happen. As long as she is breathing there is time for me to help her out to become a reploid. However, she has to wear that helmet until her brain stop functioning," I said.
"Does she wanted this?" asked Lotus. I nodded and Terra looked like she woke up when she heard that.
"Yes Lotus I did wanted this. I can't die yet not now. I need to help all of you when I still have a mind. I know this may upset either you and Kira but I wanted to do something that may change the outcome if not the world," said Terra.
"I would be more upset if you have died. Probably do something that my father never taught me to do. Revenge," said Kira. I turned to the door and Kira stood there looking at us.
"That is something my mother would have done. Though I do wanted to be alive again and help both of you out so if this is the only way I can think of then so be it," said Terra.
"We will be around when that time comes for you to be awaken in the reploid body. Terra you may have to change your name. Terra Sky will die in the name," said Kira.
"No. Crystal Silver will die with the human body. Terra is what you all know me. Remember when you called me Terra and few people looked at you crazy. Well because in record Terra Sky is considered the daughter of Illumina Sky who adopted me. They did say that name is not a legal name since my name has never changed. They think Terra is more of my nickname. Now I am going to bury Crystal Silver and become Terra Sky," said Terra.
"I see. Like how my last name of Wily did not count but then again they did not care since I am a reploid and reploid last names do not count at all. We know our last names even if we are reploids. We still have that thing called a last name so that people can tell all of us apart," said Kira.
"Kira Millsberg or Kira Wily it does not matter in the human world. I am both," said Kira.
"I see. Like you said that you are both Kira Millsberg and Kira Wily. I am Crystal Silver and Terra Sky. However Crystal Silver will be buried as a human. It will confused if both Terra Sky and Crystal Silver is dead. I am going to keep Terra Sky as the Reploid name and Crystal Silver as the human. But I am still going to be the same person. I am going to change the world if not change something small," said Terra.
"You will and I know it," said Lotus, "We will see you in battle when the time comes for now Kira and I have to be guarding. We be up there waiting for you." Terra nodded as Lotus disappears in the cloud of smoke. Kira runs out the door. I looked at them both.
"I am going to wait here until the preparations is complete," I said. Terra nodded as she looked like she is sleeping again.
"Sweet dreams Crystal Silver," I said. I do not understand what is importance for a human to have a last name until now. I fully understand what is the meaning of a last name. It is a difference to tell who is who. I looked at a desktop where the name says Eugene Scorpio. I picked that up.
"Priestess Scorpio. That is my name isn't it. Mary did tell you that I shall be your offspring and her guardian. Though if that is true then you are my father. Dr. Eugene Scorpio," I said softly as tears running down my face. I only know the guy few days after I was activated and still I am calling him father.
