Chapter 6: Terra's New Body
I started to check on Terra since all it is missing on the reploid is the new chip. I know that the chip won't work in its max if there is not the mind of the human there completely and the human is still alive. Terra can learn more things. I do have a small program I think I wanted to add to her. It is the only defense skill I thought might come in handy. I looked at Terra and saw her eyes closed. I do not know if she is asleep or dead.
"Terra," I said. I had no reply. I truly wonder if she is dead. I check her pulse and there was none. I have my eyes wide open. Terra Sky is dead. No Crystal Silver is dead. I did what I can do at this time. I take the chip so it cannot be tampered at all. I put it through the computer so it can do the rest of the program even add the Scythe using ability. Since it was going to take long I quickly take off the armor off of the human and put on some clothing that Terra picked out. I manage to make a coffin and a tombstone. It read 'Crystal Silver Sunrise May 12, 28XX Sunset August 18, 28XX.' I took the corpse into the coffin and head for the human cemetery. The cemetery is not far. From the laboratory I made it in good 30 minutes walking distance. I dug a hole good 8 feet. I did my traditional priestess chant and rituals. I set the coffin into the grave and buried it. Then I set the tombstone as of now people will know that Crystal Silver is dead. I did my last prayer respects and left.
"Rest in Peace, Crystal Silver," I said as I left. On my way back, I am wondering few things what might happen and what will happen. I had gone back to the laboratory and the stupid computer was not finished. No matter, I start dressing the reploid up and fitted the armor. I am surprised that the armor makes the reploid body look more better than what I was intended to do. Then I heard the computer went off. I checked to see and the chip was ready. I smiled and took the chip out of the computer. I started to install into the reploid. Once I installed it, I closed the hatch and now there is no way anyone can get it now. The only way anyone can get it is if they destroy the head that hatched is tightly sealed from the inside. Now it is the hard part wait for her to wake up. I know if I did my chant spell for her to hear my bells if anyone is near the capsules she will be in furious rage at me. I walked to the capsules and sighed.
"Is Terra is Ok?" asked Kira. I looked at the red reploid and know that she is not going to like what I say.
"I have buried the human's body that Terra told me to do. I even put the name she told me. Right now as her new reploid body, all we have to do is wait," I said.
"So as of now we are waiting for the reploid Terra Sky to wake up," said Kira, "How long does that take?"
"I do not know. It varies. Some are up on the first sight of things while others takes some time," I said.
"Well you did what you can do. Now you can continue to guard these capsule with us," said Lotus.
"Yes I guess so," I said. I heard a noise and Lotus did as well. I sighed and looked at the rest.
"I am going to train a while. I haven't done that for days. I need to do that so I do not feel harsh," I said.
"Very well Priestess. You may do so. Us two will alternate on rounds and capsules," said Lotus. I nodded and left. I went to a certain part of the room and sat there. I sat there thinking of all the things that happened.
"My world is a mess. A mess that I cannot cleaned up. Mary you have warned me about the reploid body that a spell caster like Magician can work on it. How about a non magic user like Ceil and Terra. Is it going to damage them," I said softly. I cannot help but wonder what dangers I might put Terra in and is she going to handle it. I start hearing voices.
"What good you are if you are not really a reploid? What you think you are a super heroine? Hah! You are nothing but a human in reploid armor," I heard the voices.
"Who are you?" I asked as I keep hearing all these voices that is starting to disturb me.
"Hah! You are like your father, childish. I am giving you one last chance tell me where they are. Why are you trying to be so much like a reploid when the fact you are human? How come you dress like you are a reploid for? Hey look we can make a play called 'imposter'. What is the liking of you being like that?" I heard the voices again. I opened my eyes and looked around. No ones there but me.
"What was that? Who was all of those voices?" I asked. Then I heard my bells ringing. I started to feel dizzy and odd. I passed out on the floor as I was still sitting.
"Tell me why do you dressed like that?" said a voice. I heard that loud and clear. I could not see anyone but I can hear them.
"Well, I dressed like this because this is what I like. Is there is a problem me dressing like this," a familiar voice. This one sounds more like she is in her early 20's.
"Well you know that reploid armor are for reploids and not for humans. Humanoids have the exception. However, you are neither humanoid or a reploid so that is what is concerning people.
"Well I am sorry what can I say. I like being in reploid armor," said the voice as I can recognize it.
"Terra," I said. Though I know somewhere she probably can hear me. Then I heard the voice again.
"Well miss Crystal Silver," said the guy and I heard Terra interrupted the guy's voice.
"Crystal?? My name is Terra. Terra Sky not this Crystal," said Terra. I know that voice is Terra.
"Miss Crystal. I have in your records of date of birth that you were born in May 12, 28XX. So what makes you think that is not your date of birth," said the voice.
"First of all I am not denying my birth date. Second of all my name is Terra. T-E-R-R-A. Terra. Third of all who can say that I have to dress a certain way. Lastly, what type of person are you trying to say that I am someone else," said Terra.
"Miss Crystal Silver. We have your records. I do not know who you are trying to fool but in your records show that you are Crystal Silver. Your parents are Davis and Martha Silver. Now I do not know how two human parents let their child to look like a reploid," said the voice.
"They are not my parents," shouted Terra. There was a silent then Terra sighed and spoke again.
"They are not the parents that raised me. Illumina and Dynamo Sky have raised me. I do not know where you get your information but you need to re-fix it. I have been called Terra Sky because they raised me," said Terra. There was a silent treatment.
"Miss Silver, thank you for your time. Now we can get to the next step of the program," said the voice. My bells rings again and I finally got up. I looked around and again there is nothing. I got up and went to the capsules.
"Your bells ring twice can you tell me what is going on?" asked Lotus. I looked at the ninja.
"I have no clue either. The first time I was in a come like state only hearing voices and cannot move. Then the second time I am back up. Something is not right and I am getting the feeling that my creator Mary is telling me something," I said. I went to the surveillance cameras and found out my hunch is right.
"Dang does he ever quit," said Kira. I sighed as all three left to go against the same thief who tries to take the capsules away. He sends the mechanaloids but this time it is harder. I have a hard time as well as the others. Then Kira is hit with something like a chainsaw.
"Kira Millsberg. I have your father's weapon. The chainsaw. I can cut you down to size," said the guy. Lotus manage to get behind the guy but a mechanaloid met her badly. I started to handle the Viroids that is out. I managed to get rid of them all but I got hit by a huge laser. I looked at the guy.
"Oh I am sorry is there a doctor in the house. Oh well I am going to make sure that those capsules are sold and your friends here will be destroyed like the human is. Too bad Kira and Lotus that Terra will not know my true name. Since it is the best name you can ever have. Cranial Shift. Yes I can change my mood and thought with a blink of an eye. With that I can be emperor of an entire nation," said Cranial Shift the thief.
"Priestess Art Barriers of light," I said. The mechanaloids got hit by them. The guy who is Cranial Shift looked at me.
"Oh a barrier. So that is how you work here. Nice. I like to break them down," said Cranial Shift. He did with one blow. I could not hold them up. I know that if those barriers are gone the capsules are unprotected. This time we all fail. Lotus, Kira, and myself.
"Oh well time for all of you to die," said Cranial Shift. We waited for the impact of the sword he had. It never came. The sword flew out and the green hair reploid stood in front of us. I knew in that moment Terra has awaken.
"Well well this is a surprised a new friend. Lotus, Kira, tell your new friend that it is not nice to stand in my way," said Cranial Shift.
"Terra," I said. Cranial Shift squinted in one eye to check and the profile is exactly the same as Terra.
"You are not dead? Drat then that means I did a horrible job then. Oh well that means I have to get your parents parts," said Cranial Shift.
"If you touch either my friends you will die," said Terra. Cranial Shift looks at Terra.
"Now where is the smiling hot human chick that I wanted to ring that pretty neck of," said Cranial Shift.
"You want to know," said Terra as she gives little time for Cranial Shift to react. He couldn't dodge the scythe that she has and she is winning. Cranial Shift then move.
"Well well. Terra Sky is still alive and kicking. That is bad and she is stronger and faster too. Not good that means she is close to be a reploid. Oh well then that means I have to pull my scanner for you Terra. Tell your guardian friend that she is next. Ta. Ta," said the guy. Terra kept on staring as she waits for him to completely leave.
