Chapter 7: The Risks
I have been watching for a long while the surveillance cameras. Terra is training for the longest. Kira is doing some rounds of walking as well as Lotus. I kept thinking and remembering the warning that Mary have given me. All I can think of right now that something bad may happen with Terra if I am not already worried about Kira. The power energy that she emits. It feels like I know that energy. Yet we only met few weeks ago. It is her energy and all the events that was odd. I heard voices, my bells ringing without the capsules being in danger. I wonder what happen that I do not know that Mary wants to warn me. I got up and went to see Terra to make sure that she is ok with her new body. I went to check on her and found everything looks ok.
"Is there something on your mind Priestess," said Terra. I do not know if I want to warn her or not.
"There is something I have to tell you. I do not know if you are aware of it but I was left with warnings about the reploid body I have given you," I said.
"I see. Whatever the risk is I have to face it now. When it comes to any type of power there is a type of responsibility. Whether it is life-threatening or just a simple set back. I am ready for it. When you tell me that you can give me a reploid body but I have to be willing to have it, I have thought all the risk I might have from not knowing what to do to any type of setbacks. When I decided to have you start the reploid process, I know what I might get myself into. My dad always told me that you have to take risks if you want to get anything done. I know either way I might have died. Though I do thought that if I can overcome any risks that I might have gotten myself into, then I am determine to be alive as a reploid," said Terra.
"So even if I told you that I am not too sure about the warning but I am worried about your safety," I said.
"Then I will overcome it whatever it is. I am not going to let anything stop me. I do promise to myself that I won't let my friends be in trouble. I had lost two people that I value so much. I do not want to lose any more people," said Terra.
"So you are planning to use it no matter what," I said. Terra nodded to me and have a smile on her.
"Yes I am. If it means helping Kira and Lotus. Or helping you," said Terra. I looked at her in shock.
"You… think me as a friend?" I asked. Terra had a huge smile on her face and looked at me.
"Of course. If I didn't I wouldn't be here. And so will Kira and Lotus. We would have been wondering around by now. Somewhere we would be in the same place we are now. The only difference is that I wouldn't be here very long," Terra said.
"In some way I did help you out then," I said. Terra looked at me with the smile again.
"Of course. Though do not worry about me I will handle any risk and I will over come it. Just do not worry about it," said Terra.
"Ok I won't," I said. Then my bells ring. Terra and I froze still. Then something blacked us out.
"Where are we?" said Terra. I looked around it was the same black space I felt my spirit floating.
"Not again. I have been here before," I said. Terra looked at me and saw my face with a serious look.
"You have?" asked Terra. I nodded as I am hoping that I do not hear any voices this time.
"In here I was hearing voices. Like someone was talking to you and yet you cannot answer back. The voices kept calling me a human. Then called me Crystal Silver," I said. Terra looked at me in shocked.
"I had my memories running when I was unable to move my reploid body or open my eyes. I have every memory going. I did not expect you heard them as well. That is odd," said Terra.
"I think that is the warning that was given to me. I not only will assembled to the person but I can hear all of the memories and life experience they had. Regardless if it is good or bad," I said.
"If so then what I may think you will know. And probably the vice versa," said Terra.
"How is that possible?" I asked. Terra cannot explain it but looked at me and smiled.
"Try to think of something. It may prove that it work," said Terra. I did try to think of something, but what I kept on thinking was Eugene Scorpio's last words and what instructions he gave me. I started to cry and what I did not expect that Terra is crying along with me.
"I can say it is a success and I am right. We are linked. Though your memories is just makes me sad. It is the worst feeling sad," said Terra. I looked at Terra.
"I do believe what you said is true. Somehow we are linked together," I said as I have a worried look.
"I try to figure out what it is though do not worry about me. I will handle any risk and I will over come it. Just do not worry about it," said Terra.
"Ok then I won't," I said. I looked at Terra and sighs. Terra looked at me and sighs.
"This means we have to be more cautious of what we are doing if not we might hurt someone," said Terra.
"I do advise that we both start training together. If not we might do ended up hurting someone that we do not want," I said.
"Yes we do need that as well then from now on we will train together instead just one of us," said Terra. Just then a dark entity engulfed me and Terra.
"PRIESTESS!!" shouted Terra as the entity separate the two of us. I was alone for a while.
"TERRA!!" I shouted. I could not see what was in front of me. All I saw something that looks like a light. I tried to reach it and hopefully find Terra there. I finally reach to the light. Then the dark entity that I was in along with Terra started to dissipate. The entity is being engulfed by Terra. My bells ring again as I heard them. Both Terra and I started to fall and I blacked out. I do not know what happen after that.
"Priestess," I heard my name calling. I heard two name being called. Terra's and mines. I slowly open mines and saw Lotus who is trying to get me up.
"Priestess are you ok?" asked Lotus. I looked at her and still feel dizzy from the event that happen.
"I think so. Is Terra is ok?" I asked. Kira looked at me since I am up. Lotus nodded and try to wake up Terra.
"So far I have no luck. She is out of my calling," said Kira. I looked at her as I do not know how to explain the situation.
"So she is not ok," I said starting to worry. Kira looked at me and sighed. I looked at her again.
"Terra is fine physically however, I do not know what happened and yet she is not getting up. I think she is hibernation mode for a long while," said Kira.
"How is it that when my bells pulled off false alarms something else happens?" I asked.
"I noticed that it happens again. Now I am getting worried. I do not know what those bells do but it is worrying me," said Kira.
"It worries me as well. The first time Terra and I found out that when it went off the first time that is false alarm, I somehow tapped into her memories. I could not explain it. Terra had a theory which it proves that somehow we are linked. She finds that to be true statement. However, since we are linked, our thought and memories are linked in a way," I said.
"Well I do suggest that both of you must be cautious," said Kira. Then my bells ring again. Lotus stepped back and Terra is up. The dark entity controlled Terra for a minute then Terra collapsed.
"What was that," said Kira as I looked at her face. I cannot explain it myself since I have the light part of that entity.
"I do not know. But I think that entity is what connects Terra and myself. If we are not cautious then we are not only risking ourselves but risking everyone around us," I said.
"Well then I advise both of you to train. We both accepted what might happen on the outside but I do think it is wise for both of you accepted the risks you might take," said Lotus.
"I am," I said. Then my bells again rings then I passed out. I heard giggles and I woke up.
"Oh Priestess, you finally awake," said Terra. I looked at her as she was the one giggling.
"What happened?" I asked. Terra looked at me with a smile on her face. I looked at Terra as she did something to Kira.
"I do not think that is wise," I said. Terra looked at me with a smile still. I know the consequences of pranks.
"Anyways, when you are done with any punishment she might give you, I would like for both of us started to train," I said. Terra nodded. I walked off and heard Kira yelling. Those two are odd people. Terra especially. However, she has her mischievous side as well.
