Chapter 8: Shadow Devil
Days has passed and Cranial Shift has not shown himself. Which it is good for us. I do not want to deal with him and deal with my current problem that Terra and I are facing. The dark entity is planning something and we do not know what it want with both of us. We have to be prepared for anything that comes in our way. Terra and I have been training over the past few days. Kira and Lotus did not mind both of us train together but they do want us rotate. We have done that. However, Lotus tries to perfect a technique which keeps asking Kira's help. We all took our shares and the place started to become more and more relaxed. I hate that feeling when something might come out and get us at the end. I had that feeling so many times and thieves tend to be there. It started to make me worry. That guy Cranial Shift will show up. The dark entity that is inside of Terra also gets me worried. What it really wants? Why Terra? All these questions are inside of my head. Most of my weird occurrences deals with Terra and myself. I am started to think that the bells not only worried me about the capsules being stolen, but if any strange activity as well. I do not know the bells well and little by little.
"Priestess," said Terra as she breaks my train of thought. I looked at Terra as I know that it was both of our turn to rotate to the rounds as Kira and Lotus are going to switch as well. Kira will watch the monitor as Lotus will train. However, those two will train together for Lotus to perfect her ability she wanted to do.
"Priestess it is your turn to do rounds. I did agree to Lotus and Kira that I will watch the capsules while those two train together," said Terra.
"Very well, I will leave," I said. Another set of rounds and probably set up barriers this time. I know this laboratory like the back of my hand and these people only been here for few weeks started to be familiar the main grounds. However, I know grounds in this place that I never show and I tend to keep it that way. It is a last resort area where I can hid the capsules making sure that no will get them. The enemy watch us from every corner of this place. I keep walking in the main grounds as I know the enemy will go after us. Just by going to the hidden areas of the place I will exposed the entire laboratory and that is not what I want. I did my rounds and yet I was right. Everyone was too relaxed and Cranial Shift has come. He struck the first half of the building. I called Lotus and Kira over first. Then called Terra. I set up my barriers near the entry of the corridor that leads to the capsules.
"Well well, I haven't seen this for the past few days oh well, does not matter all of you are going to die by this," said Cranial Shift. I look at the huge mechanaloid. I never seen anything that big.
"Well what do you know, a huge mechanaloid for a tiny brain like you," said Terra with a smile.
"I should not be talking. You supposed to be dead," said Cranial Shift. Terra looks at him with a smile on her face.
"Well too bad I ruin that plan but you will be stopped now. I am not letting you touch those capsules and touch my friends," said Terra. Cranial Shift laughs. Then again I heard my bell went out. Terra and the rest heard it as well. I started to become immobile. So did Terra. The dark entity took over Terra and started to attack Cranial Shift. Kira and Lotus moved out of the way as they watched Terra killing everyone. I saw it too even though I am immobile.
"Priestess, move out of the way or Terra will kill you," said Kira. I could not move. Terra came after me in full force. Then the dark entity is once again engulfed me. I can see what the dark entity sees. I saw Cranial Shift. He tries to attack us and could not do so. The dark entity is hurting him and badly.
"It can't be!!" shouted Cranial Shift as I heard it. I do not know what is going on but something is happening out there and I do not know too well. I only see from the dark entity point of view. The dark entity is winning against Cranial Shift as the blonde hair reploid taking damage and heavily.
"Kira stand back we need to find out what are we against," I heard Lotus talking about.
"This is Shadow Devil. I thought the guy died from the crash of Eurasia. How it survived that?" asked Cranial Shift. Shadow Devil?? The dark entity that sucked both Terra and I is called Shadow Devil. I heard eerie thoughts and I tried to cover my sensors. I couldn't that thing is contacting us. We do not know what it wants but all we know that it is attacking everyone out there.
"I better do something I know I kill them all," the noise I heard. I wanted to cry as I do not want my two friends died by my hands. No the Shadow Devil's hands.
"I better regroup so have fun messing with it," said Cranial Shift as his mechanaloid and him tried to take off. Shadow Devil took the mechanaloid and torn it to shreds. The power it has. It is very huge. I cannot estimate how that power it has. I felt like I am entrapped something I do not want to be in.
"TERRA!! TERRA!! WAKE UP TERRA!!" I yelled as I know for the fact it was no use. I tried to put barriers around my friends and failed. The Shadow Devil negated my barriers.
"Please if anyone can help me save my friends," I said. I am now in the verge of pleading. Kira holds up a sword that she has on her back. Lotus is ready to fight. Please both of you free us from this mess but do not kill yourself. I only can watch what Shadow Devil is watching. I wanted Terra and myself out of this dark entity named Shadow Devil.
"Heheheh, these pathetic fools tried to kill me. However, those things that they are protecting two can kill me. This is the perfect opportunity to kill them before they can kill me," said the voice. I only can do is hold my sensors. Kira and Lotus please hurry. I can't stand that voice echoing in my sensors. I watch helplessly to see my two friends getting hurt. I couldn't do nothing. I am pleading to whatever god or goddess out there to help me out. Of course nothing had come to my rescue.
"KIRA!!" I shouted as I saw her getting knocked down by Shadow Devil. I saw Lotus saving her. I felt relieved, but knowing that this will not last very long. I know in my heart that something is about to give and what is about to give is my friends being dead.
"TERRA IF YOU CAN HEAR ME TRY TO HELP ME HALT THIS CREATURE BEFORE KIRA AND LOTUS IS DEAD!!" I shouted. I was hoping that Terra can help me out. I am waiting for her to respond to me. I know this guy can be stopped but I do not know how. I know somewhere Terra and I can stop him from killing our friends.
"Hehehehe…. Your friends?? They do not want you they want to hurt you. They know your past and willing to kill you because of that," said the eerie voice.
"Stop it," I said loudly. I do not know if anyone else hears me or even know that I am yelling.
"You know that is the truth once they know your past they will kill you," said the eerie voice.
"STOP IT!!" I shouted. I did not want to hear more of the nonsense. But what if that voice is right. What if they know my past and will kill me? Then again I have trusted those two this far and I do trust Terra as well. So then I have nothing to really worried about. The voice I know he is wrong. I watched again and both were going to die. I only looked in panic of seeing my friends died.
"STOP IT!!" I shouted. I yelled on top of my lungs if I have any. I may not know what happened but I heard my bells ring again. The Shadow Devil who used both Terra and myself heard it. It backed off Lotus and Kira. I listened to my bells again and the Shadow Devil also heard it went off.
"What is that sound," said the eerie voice. I know that something is going to happened.
"That is my bells," I said. Then it rings. All I saw was a red flash followed by a blue energy going to the Dark Entity.
"No how can both of you be free," shouted the Dark Entity. I could not see them. I know that the only way we can escaped here if Terra wakes up and cooperate with me.
"Terra, the dark entity has gotten us. If we do not do something we will die in here," I said. I do not know if that is going to work but something did. I felt the electrical surge went through my body. I passed out.
"Priestess, Terra," I heard. I started to open my eyes slowly. I saw Lotus and Kira in a blur. When my senses started to adjust I can see those two clearly. I turned around and saw Terra still out cold.
"What happened?" I asked. Kira and Lotus looked at me. Both looked at each other and sighed.
"What do you remember and probably we can fill it in," said Kira. I looked down and think back.
"Last time my bells went off the first time, Terra was being controlled by the dark entity. Later it engulfed me. After that I saw everything through its eyes and hear everything, even its voice. I do not know if you heard me screaming the entity to stop but it did not. When I thought you two were gone my bells ring again. I saw a flash of red and blue armor. I could not see it but I think the dark entity did. After that I tried to get Terra's attention and hopefully it worked. The next thing I blacked out before I can see who the mysterious people who saved Terra and myself," I said.
"Then you know more than what we expected," said Kira. Kira sighed as she looked at me.
"After we looked around after almost being hit and feeling every debris we waited until there is none. When we looked around we found both you and Terra on the ground out cold. We knew it will be temporarily. However, we now know that that creature Shadow Devil is inside of you. Whatever it wants it is not pleasant," said Lotus.
"I am also afraid that this dark entity will destroy the capsules. If so, everyone that is inside of those capsules are going to be destroyed," I said.
"Well then Cranial Shift knows about Shadow Devil we might need to worried about him. He won't attack us if he knows that both you and Terra can control it," said Kira.
"That is the thing we could not control that monstrosity. We barely can communicate with it," I said.
"It will take some practice on both of your scales but you both have some things still to train. If that creature can come during any time then we must find a way for both of you to learn anything that might help you not to summon him," said Lotus.
"It may take centuries or even few years, but Terra and I need to try if not we might killed something we are trying to guard," I said, "Not to mention both yours and Kira's lives."
