Only the supremely wise and the abysmally ignorant do not change - Confucius
"Honestly, Harry, give it up already. Malfoy is smart, and maybe some day he will be different. It's possible. Once he realizes how rotten he is to everyone, he will see the error of his ways, and he will change. Just you wait," Hermione huffed as she tried to make it to Transfiguration on time.
"Hermion, come on. You know that that is bollocks. Utter bollocks. I've been reading that quote book of yours, and I've got one to counter all of yours. Only the supremely wise and the abysmally ignorant do not change. What do you think of that one, hmm, 'Mione? I think this one cancels all the other ones about that prick out. He is certainly not wise, so he must be abysmally ignorant," he retorted, proud of himself of for finally getting the better of his friend at something.
"Since when do you read, let alone a book of ancient quotes?" Hermione questioned, rolling her eyes. They had reached the tall wooden door, and she wasn't sure she could walk in and see Malfoy sitting there after they'd just been talking about him. Again.
"Since I know he is horrible and it's time you stop sticking up for that wanker!" Harry shouted the last word a little louder than he had intended, and a few third year Hufflepuffs jumped and let a giggle escape.
"I am just as sick of you doubting me, so I think we should just stop talking about all of this for good. I will talk to you later," she snarled, opening the door and walking quickly to a seat in the first row beside Neville.
