Smiling Pasta

Course 1: Removing the love curse by being in love for 90 years (Part 4)

Sasuke had his arm around Sakura. "Our relationship will definitely surpass three months." Sakura looked worried even though Sasuke seemed confident. He faced the girl in his arms. "Let's go. Come with me to get the car."

Sakura struggled to look back at Sai, who was just staring ahead, clenching his teeth. Ino watched them leave, Sakura wriggling in Sasuke's grasp.

Once they were gone, Sai called out, "Come out, you guys."

Two "nerdy" looking boys trotted up to him and bowed in respect. "Sai-san."

Sai handed the parchment he got before to them. "The money that was extorted from you…"

"Thank you, Sai-san."

Ino looked oddly to Sai, clearly not expecting this. He looked towards her and signaled to go to the car. "Let's go."

Sasuke was speeding down the street.

"Help! Stop the car! The way you're driving is very dangerous! I'm going to die! Stop the car! Stop the car!"

The convertible did a sharp U-turn and parked on the opposite side of the street and squealed to a stop.

Sakura was breathing heavily. When she calmed down a bit, she started yelling. "Why did you stop the car so abruptly?"

"You're very noisy!"

A manicured finger pointed to her face. "I'm very noisy? You handle your car like a roller coaster, and I didn't even protest, do you know that?"

Sasuke thought it would be best to just go along with whatever she said. "I don't know."

Sakura huffed, then something popped into her brain. "I remember now! How could you kiss me on the street? Did you know that that was my first kiss?"

"I didn't know."

"Also," Sakura continued, "what right do you have to say that I am your girlfriend? I am not a casual person, did you know that?"

"I didn't know!" Sasuke had a hint of irritation in his voice. He rubbed his head.

Sakura got mad. "You act cool. I can't take it! I'm getting out of the car!" She opened the door and stepped out.

"This girl is really ugly," some guy off the street commented. A group of guys surrounded her.

"Her hair is messy and there's even a hole in her skirt."

"I think they must've had a lover's quarrel."

"What are you guys looking at?"

Sakura decided to stick up for herself. "What's there to look at?" She stepped back and adjusted Sasuke's jacket so it would completely cover the hole in her skirt.

"This girl is so pitiful."

"Should we help her out?"

All this talk was making Sasuke feel bad. "Get in the car, okay?" He didn't have to tell Sakura twice. She quickly got into the car. "I'll take you home."

She thought about it for a second. "No way. I can't go home yet."

"Why?"

"Okay, I'll tell you."

Sasuke parked in a nice, lush area, where no one would overhear their conversation. Sakura folded a piece of her pink hair behind her ear.

"The worst case scenario is that you'll have to wear the Italian Pasta Superman costume and do a belly dance." Sasuke was looking out while admiring the beauty of the place they were in. "What's so bad about that?"

"But I'm a girl. That would be very embarrassing." Sasuke looked back at her. "Anyway, if I go home alone today, I lose. I don't want to." Sasuke smirked. "Just now, what were you arguing about with Sai-san and Ino? Do you know them?"

Sasuke's good mood turned sour. "This doesn't concern you."

Sakura's cell phone rang. She looked at the caller ID and it read "PASTA". She thought about answering it, but… She talked to herself. "What are you afraid of? Why don't you dare answer? Just laugh it off and there's nothing that won't pass over." She picked up the phone. "Hello? Brother! Why are you calling now? Are you trying to ruin the mood?"

At the restaurant:

"How's it going? You got dumped, right?

"What do you mean I've been dumped? I'm telling you that everything's going extremely well. Someone's going to be the Italian Pasta Superman."

At the restaurant:

"Okay, if you want to see me be the Italian Pasta Superman, then bring him home. Everybody is waiting. Yeah, yeah!"

Sakura stammered. "Oh… uh… Today probably isn't good… uh… I might not go home to sleep tonight… because we're going to a 6-star restaurant for dinner." Sasuke stared at her in disbelief. "Also, we might stay over there for a night. So tell Mom and Dad that I might not come home today. Then that's it. Bye-bye! Don't bother us. We're very busy. Bye-bye…"

At the restaurant:

"Wait a minute… Hello? Hello?"

Sakura flipped her cell phone shut. She looked to Sasuke. He looked back. With nothing more to do, she sat on a nearby bench. Sasuke boldly walked her way. "I'm truly an idiot. Now I really can't go home today." Sasuke hit her head lightly. It seemed to clear her of those troubling thoughts. "What do you want?"

"You're not leaving? Didn't you say that you were going to a 6-star restaurant? You're a really good liar."

"Why were you eavesdropping on my conversation?"

Sasuke adorned a smirk on his face. "You were over here putting on a show. I couldn't help overhearing it."

The pink-haired girl groaned. "Stop joking with me. Lies have already been told. I really don't know what to do now."

The raven-haired boy didn't know either. "Anyway, you're on your own. I'm leaving." He turned around and headed back to his car.

"Hey! Wait!" She waited for Sasuke to stop walking. "Can you take me in for just one night?" Sasuke turned around with an expression on his face that said, "Are you crazy?" "Please. I'm begging you."

Sasuke shook his head and got in his car.

"Hey…" Sakura pouted.

Sasuke started his car when he noticed something. A cloth doll. He picked it up and read the shirt it had on. 'Not happy? Then hit me. I'll always stay by your side forever.'

Flashback:

"You knew all along since we were young, I liked Sai," Ino snapped. "I don't want to lie to you anymore. Sorry, I can't accompany you anymore."

End Flashback

Sakura went right up to the front of the car and pouted. "Can you really leave a helpless girl all alone?"

Sasuke put the doll down and started to go in reverse, then tried to drive away.

"Hey!" Sakura ran right in front of the car. Luckily, Sasuke stopped in time, even though Sakura was leaning on the hood.

"Do you want to die?"

"If you're not willing to take me in for a night, whether I die or not does not matter to you."

He didn't know what to do. After a moment's pause he concluded. "Do whatever you want." He backed up, letting Sakura fall to the ground with a "thump". He stopped and looked over his hood to see if she was alright.

Sakura sat up, with a sad expression on her face. Sasuke felt bad, so he got out of the car and went to her side. "Get in the car."

She smiled a broad smile. "Okay! Wait for me." She hopped in right next to Sasuke and he drove off.

Sunrise Villa:

Sasuke pulled into the driveway of the Sunrise Villa. The two got out of the car. "Let's go up."

"This is his home? Isn't it a little too stylish?" Sakura looked around in curiosity. "Can it be that he's a wealthy family's child?"

"Do you want to come up or not? Hurry up."

She raced through the gate and up the stairs to catch up with Sasuke.

The gorgeous man opened the door. "Come in." He closed it behind Sakura. "Shizune."

A black-haired woman appeared out from the living room. "Sasuke-sama, you're back."

Sakura walked into the living room. "Wow! Your home is really big."

Shizune looked confused and then faced Sasuke. "Um… This is?"

"She is my friend." He leaned in close to the maid. "Don't let Father and Mother know.

She bowed in response. "Yes."

Sakura put the stuff she was carrying on the table. "Let me put this here." Shizune nodded.

Soon, a blue sports car honked and pulled into the driveway. "Sasuke-sama, Fugaku-sama and Mikoto-sama are back."

Sasuke turned and, sure enough, he saw their blue sports car in the driveway. He spun around. "Hurry, go up." He took Sakura by the arm, heading anywhere else.

"Wait! My bag…" She headed back to pick up her things.

Shizune was worried as she looked in the driveway. "Hurry, go up."

Sasuke and Sakura went through the dining room just as Fugaku and Mikoto entered just down the hall, taking their jackets off. The worried pair went the other way, so they wouldn't be seen.

The maid tried her best to keep her masters busy. "Mikoto-sama, Fugaku-sama."

Mikoto searched the room. "Honey, you're back."

"Father, Mother." Sasuke nodded in acknowledgement. He looked casual, sitting on the couch with his legs crossed and an arm draped over a pillow. A pink head popped up from behind the couch, but Sasuke pushed it back down.

"Honey, you're back." Mikoto sat by her son. "Mommy went to your new single showcase today." Sakura peered out the side of the couch.

"You went?"

Mikoto nodded. "It was very successful." Sakura saw a tall figure with black hair that looked sort of similar to Sasuke, Fugaku. "Very, very good. I really couldn't tell…" Sakura hid behind the couch once more.

'His father is the Minister, Uchiha Fugaku? Could he be that big celebrity?'
