"I can't believe Ms. Delbrassine gave me a bad mark in French." Sophie moaned as she put her tray on the table next to Brooke's.

"Did you review your grammar before the test?" Brooke asked taking the paper from her hands and reading through it.

Sophie didn't answer and looked down at her plate. Brooke rolled her eyes.

"No wonder you got this mark?" she said giving the paper back to her.

"You almost sound like my mother."

"Sorry." Brooke laughed.

After lunch, both girls got up and made their way to the schoolyard. They spotted Geoffrey sitting at a tree and decided to join him.

"Brooke." someone called from behind the girls.

Both girls turned around and saw Peter walking over to them.

"I'm going to sit over there with Geoffrey." Sophie whispered and smiled.

"I...ehm." he laughed nervously. "Hi."

Brooke smiled at how nervous he seemed. "Hi."

"How are you?"

"I'm fine." she replied.

"I wanted to ask you something yesterday but you had to leave so.." he trailed off thinking of a way to ask her already.

"I...I was wondering if you'd like to.."

"Peter." A girl cut him off. Brooke didn't know the girl and was surprised to see the girl entwine her arm around his. "I've been looking for you." she told him, ignoring Brooke.

"I've been busy." he said coldly removing her arm from his. The girl seemed stunned and looked at Brooke as if she was the cause for his behavior. As she walked away, she looked once at the two of them and fixating her gaze on Brooke. 'He's mine'

Brooke caught her stare and felt awkward. Was she in between the two of them without knowing it?

Peter sighed a sigh of relief at the girl's departure. "Where was I? Oh yes, I was wondering..."

"Listen," Brooke cut him off. "I have to go. I need to discuss something with some classmates before the next lesson starts." she lied.

"Oh." Peter's smile faded. Brooke quickly turned around to walk over Geoffrey and Sophie.

"See you this afternoon at the same place?" Peter asked, but got no answer.

Cameron got home late that night, having to work later because there had been a bus crash. She wasn't sure what she would find at home. Would house be in there bed or on the couch? Would he be at home at all or maybe drinking away his sorrow in a bar?

Entering their home, Cameron wasn't surprised to find it silent. She walked into the kitchen and switched on the light. Placing her bag on the table, she noticed take out boxes on the counter with a note attached to it.

Please feed our boy. I'm sure he's starving.

And get your stunning little ass into bed when you're finished. Don't worry I'm on the couch.

Cameron smiled again and started to heat up her meal. Having a few minutes, Cameron decided to talk to House. Both needed to clear things up. She may have overreacted last night but she had to know if he was happy with the pregnancy and if he proposed for other reason than loving her.

Walking into the living room, she saw him lying on the couch on his back with an arm behind his head and the other across his stomach. She walked over to him and sat down next to his hip, running her hand over his stubble jaw.

House stirred in his sleep, unconsciously moving into her touch.

"Greg." she whispered trying to wake him up. "Wake up"

House didn't so she shook him lightly awake saying his name a little louder. He finally opened his eyes slowly remembering where he was.

"We need to talk." Cameron said as she watched him sit upright. Taking his Vicodin bottle from his left-hand trouser pocket, he shoot two pills out and swallowed them dry. Cameron noticed this and thought he did that every time they had to discuss something.

"Are you happy about the baby?" she blurted out and waited for a reaction.

"Yes." he whispered so quietly that Cameron thought it would have been her dreaming it. "When I decided I wanted you in my life, I thought we'd be alone for a few years before having a child. H3ll, I didn't even know I was capable of conceiving someone." he exclaimed. "I never saw myself as a father figure. But you know all that. We had this conversation before." he said, sounding angry.

"So, you don't have a problem with our child, you just have a problem how he happened?"

"You should know me. I don't like changes. I..I...I hate quick changes. I just have to get used to the idea of me being a father." he admitted. "But don't you ever, don't you ever think I might have a problem with our son. I'm just afraid I might screw him up."

"You won't."

"Your faith in me sometimes makes this whole life seem surreal."

Cameron laughed and hugged him. "I'll always believe in you." she said kissing his cheek. "And I'm sorry I kind of overreacted but I just thought you regretted the baby and because of my dmn hormones, I started to link some stupid doubts about our engagement."

"Why?" was all he asked for her amazement.

"If you want to know the truth I can't even remember;" she sighed. "It..I..I just want to forget about everything. I'm glad we talked and that I know how you feel about the baby." Cameron yawned and put her head on his shoulder. House turned and placed a kiss on the top of her head.

"Have you eaten?"

"No, dinner is in the microwave." she replied suppressing another yawn.

"Come on." he urged her up. "Dinner time" he winked at her leading her back into the kitchen.
