Hey everyone,
new chapter is up D I just want to apologize about something. I'm not sure if I had mentioned that Booth has a kid. If I did, I'm sorry for repeating it. Anyway, enjoy. )
"What a wonderful party. Thank you Lisa for doing this." Cameron smiled hugging her. The party had long ended and all the gifts were being taken to House's car by Taub, Kutner, Foreman and Wilson. Everyone had left after the boys except Cuddy, Laura, Brooke, Sara and Beth.
"You're welcome. That's the least I can do after you made me and James the Godparents of your baby." she smiled.
"Thank you also all for coming." she said to the others.
"My brother's right you're way to grateful." Laura laughs and hugs her soon-to-be sister-in-law. "But you're welcome."
At the sound of a knock at the glass door, everyone turned to watch Booth and a little boy enter the conference room.
"Hi everyone, I hope we're not interrupting anything." Booth smiled.
"No,no. You're right on time actually." Laura said walking over to him and giving him a kiss. "Hello Parker." she said sweetly to the boy. "Come here, I'd like you to meet some friends."
The boy looked unsure and waited for his dad's approval. Booth nodded and Parker took Laura's hand and walked with her to the group of women.
"Ladies, this is Parker. He's Booth's son." Laura introduced. "Parker this is Dr. Lisa Cuddy, Dr. Allison Cameron, Sara Scott and her daughter Beth. Brooke you've met before."
The little boy says a small hi and smiles.
"It's nice to finally meet you Parker." Cameron smiled. "How old are you?"
"I'm six." he says proudly.
"I'm six too." Beth exclaimed happily. "Maybe you could join me and Uncle Greg. We're going to the playground when he's back."
"What?" Cameron asked dumbfounded.
"I told her I'd take her to the playground with Brooke." House said from the doorway smirking at his niece as he and Wilson came back.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Cameron asked.
"I thought you wouldn't object if I bought you ice-cream." he winked as she glared at him.
"I'm not going with you!"Brooke finally protested, sensing her uncle knew something.
"Please Brooke." Beth begged.
"Please Brooke." Parker begged too. The little boy wanted to go so badly and he wanted Brooke with him.
Brooke looked at both kids and then at her uncle. This won't end well.
"Fine. But I'm not staying very long, I have homework to do." Brooke gave in. But only because of the kids.
"Great." House smiled triumphantly while the kids cheered. "Come on Big Mama, take a kids and I'll meet you at the car." he said limping out of the room.
Cameron rolled her eyes and took Beth's hand. "Is it okay if Parker comes with us?" she asked Booth.
"Sure. No problem at all, he likes playgrounds." he smiled at Cameron and then looked at his son. "Be nice okay?"
Parker smiled and hugged his dad goodbye before taking Cameron's other hand.
"I'll give you a call before picking him up." Booth said to Cameron.
"OK." she smiled at him before walking out with the kids, followed by a not so happy teen girl.
XX
"What exactly is your plan?" Brooke questioned her uncle as she watched Cameron paying for her and the kids ice-cream.
"I don't know what you're talking about." he said innocently.
"Right."she snorted. "So you suddenly decided to be nice and take the kids to the playground?"
"I was always nice." he feigned hurt.
Brooke laughed. "Now you're lying. I know you know something."
"I know that you know that I know something."
"And I know that you know that I know that you know something."
"I can keep this up longer than you do little brat."
"Try me old man." Brooke challenged.
Brooke noticed that something in House's eyes had changed when he stopped looking at her but looked behind her. Curious, Brooke turned around and froze. There he was, Peter. Brooke quickly turned around, hoping he hadn't seen her. House smirked at this and decided to have some fun.
"Someone you know here?" he smirked.
"No." she denied.
"Are you sure? I could swear I'm Peter over there." House practically yelled the last sentence.
"Pshhhh." Brooke hissed, ducking her head slightly. "How do you know his name anyway?"
"Oh, a little bird named Beth told me that." he smirked devilishly. Brooke glared at him, not really caring now that he knew about Peter. She just didn't want to talk to him. She still thought it was best for her to not talk to him, not after the scene at school with Cindy.
"Please, I don't want him to see me." she pleaded him.
House thought about it for a moment. "OK, I'll be quiet." Brooke furrowed her brow in confusion. Why did he gave up this easy? Peaking in Peter and Katy's direction she saw why. Beth had already spotted them and was pointing at them sitting on the bench. Dmn!
