House was sitting next to Cameron on the bench in the playground watching Brooke and Peter talk.
After the boy had walked over to them, Brooke stood up and went with Peter a bit further away so her uncle wouldn't hear their conversation.
"Was that really necessary?" Cameron asked as she took another spoonful of her ice-cream she had gotten earlier.
"I didn't do anything." he feigned innocence and continued watching the young pair.
"Yeah right-AH!" Cameron suddenly gasped and holding her stomach.
"What's wrong?" House asked concerned, placing his hands on her stomach and trying to feel something.
"I'm sure it's nothing. The pain's gone now anyway. Maybe he didn't like the ice-cream." she tried joking but House clearly wasn't convinced.
"Don't worry honey." she smiled at him.
"You're 8 months now and you know that..."
"No." she interrupted him. "I'm not having him now. It's too soon."
"I know it is but.."
"No Greg. Trust me, everything is fine." she reassured him.
"OK, but please tell me if this happens again."
Cameron was moved to tears. Even though the pregnancy and House had had his difficulties in the beginning, she now knew for sure he'd be there for her and the baby. Leaning towards him, she cupped his cheek and kissed him.
"I promise." she smiled. "I love you"
"Ditto."

"Why have you been avoiding me?" Peter asked, as he and Laura sat down on a bench.
"No, I haven't." she denied, sitting a bit farther away from him.
"Yeah right."
"I'm sorry."
"For what?" Peter asked confused not knowing about what she could possibly apologizing. He was the one who felt he should apologize for whatever wrong he had done for her to avoid him.
"For being so childish."
"What? I don't even know why you were avoiding me in the first place. Now you're apologizing for being childish? What wrong?"
"It's Cindy. I...I didn't want to get in the middle of you two." she admitted softly.
Peter bursted out laughing and Brooke glared at him. It had already been hard feeling childish but now being laughed at for that was just mean.
"I'm sorry Brooke." Peter said apologetic, trying to calm down. "It's just that the thought of me and Cindy is ridiculous. I would never date her. She's just annoying and not my type."
Brooke smiled but blushed, feeling ashamed.
"So what is your type?" Brooke smiled innocently, trying her luck.
Peter smiled too and slowly scotched over to her, kissing her lightly, thinking that this kiss would answer her question. Brooke closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling of his lips on hers. Pulling away, he took a deep breath and took her hand in his.
"There's something I've been trying to ask you for awhile." he began. "Do you want to go out with me? Maybe catch a movie or something."
"I'd love too." she smiled and kissed him again.
Suddenly out of nowhere two little girls began to sing.
"Brooke and Peter sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G."

"I'm so glad we finally found a room for the wedding." Cameron said exhausted as she let herself fall onto House's couch in his office.
"I know I can't believe we spend our whole day looking for one. I thought it would be a lot quicker." Laura said as she sat down on a chair in front of House's desk.
"I'm so tired. I feel like I could sleep for days." Cameron yawned tiredly closing her eyes.
Laura smiled at Cameron. "Well you're allowed now to sleep since we're finally done planning the wedding."
"We are?" Cameron asked opening her tired eyes.
"Yes. Now that we have a room, the wedding can start."
"Good." Cameron smiled. "And here I thought we wouldn't make it since the wedding is in a week."
"Well, you did have a lot of help." Laura smiled back. "I think no one ever organized a wedding in three weeks."
Cameron laughed. "Yes, thank you and all the others for your help."
"You're welcome." Laura grinned as Cameron closed her eyes again. Moments later, Laura was sure that Cameron had finally fallen asleep. Deciding that she needed a cup of coffee, Laura stood up and walked into the empty conference room.
"They must have a case." Laura mused to herself as she looked at the full written white board. Taking the red mug that was on the counter, she poured herself coffee in it.
"You better be pouring that coffee for me 'cause no one is allowed to drink out of my mug;" said a gruff voice from behind.
"You wish." Laura said turning around and taking a sip of it.
"Eww. Now I need to sterilize it." House feigned a teenage girl. Laura rolled her eyes and sat down at the table. "So, were you successful today," he asked, sitting at the table with her.
"Yes, actually we were." Laura smiled. "The wedding is ready."
House nodded and glanced into his office. He smiled seeing Cameron asleep.
"So, are you excited about it?" Laura asked watching her brother.
"I guess she's more excited than I am. I mean she's finally going to be able to show that she's got her man in chains."
Laura laughed and shook her head. "I think most women do. But that's not what I meant. Are you excited about the whole fatherhood thing?"
House turned his head back to his sister and looked at her. "I'm scared as hell." he admitted. "..and everyone keeps telling me that I'll do fine but...I just can't stop thinking about screwing everything up."
"You're not dad." Laura said. "And I'm pretty sure you already heard that too, but it's true."
"But I'm still scared."
"I know." she smiled, placing a hand on his. "I was too. I mean, I was only 16 and mostly all by myself but I did it. I raised Brooke all alone and she turned out pretty good."
"She turned into you. You think that good?" House joked.
"She turned out pretty good," she continued, ignoring her brother. "Because I refused to be like dad was. And I know you will too." she said squeezing his hand softly. "Plus, you have Allison by your side. I know for sure she'll kick your ass if you even try to screw something up." she laughed and then turned serious again. "Both of you will be great parents."
House turned back around to look at Cameron. He knew his sister was right but the fear was still there. He just hoped as hell that everyone was right.
