Cuddy was really stressed. It seemed like every time she didn't look, her paperwork duplicated. She sighed in exasperation and let her head drop over her crossed arms.

"You look like you could use a break." said a voice from the doorway. Cuddy looked up and smiled at her husband.

"Yes I do, but I still have plenty of paperwork to do."

"Oh come on. I'm sure you can spare a few minutes?" Wilson tried. "There's something I need to tell you."

"Can that wait until tonight?" Cuddy asked, rubbing her sore.

Wilson frowned. " You okay?"

"Yes, my back has been sore lately and I haven't been feeling really well too but I'm sure it's just stress."

"OK." Wilson replied, not really convinced. He really wanted to talk to her about something important, but he could clearly see now wasn't the right time. "Well we'll talk later then."

Cuddy nodded, resuming her work. Once she knew he was out of sight, she sighed deeply and put her pen back down. She wasn't 'okay' like she told her husband a few seconds ago. She had been feeling really sick these past few days and now the sore back? She suspected something but didn't want to get her hopes up too soon. Making up her mind, she decided it was time for some answers. She stood up and went to the fourth floor.

"You morons." House yelled at his team. "You gave the patient a dose of responsibility? Now we can't use her stupidity to run pointless test on her."

"She needs to know what's happening." Foreman argued.

"So you scare her out of what will possible save her?"

"You just said yourself. Pointless tests..."

"...which may or may not save her. Like it always ends up." House interrupted.

Kutner, Taub and Thirteen looked at each other unsure of what to do or say. They still weren't used to House and Foreman fighting each other for the right diagnosis. All three of them sighed in relief seeing Cuddy head towards the room.

"What do you want?" House asked annoyed turning towards her. "Did you tell them to talk to the patient about the risks of..."

"I don't even want to know." Cuddy spoke up. "Need you."

"Uh-uh. Am I in trouble again?"

"Just follow me please." Cuddy said before walking out the room again. House wondered what she would want from him and followed her out.

"Planning another quickie in the janitor's closet?" he smirked. "I need to warn you though. I'm an almost married man and father. I don't think my love would ever forgive me if she'd find out."

"Shut up and keep walking."

Normally, House would just ignore her but his curiosity was getting the best of him.

"Hello James" Cameron greeted him as she found him in the cafeteria sitting at a table.

"Allison, how are you?" he asked excited to see her. "Please take a seat."

"Thank you." she smiled, sitting on a chair across from him.

"So, what are you doing here?"

"Well." Cameron began. "I just woke up from a nap. Greg let me sleep in his office after Laura and I came back from hunting a room. Now I was about to go home when the little one reminded me that it was time to eat again." she laughed.

"Like father like son huh? Always eating." he grinned.

Cameron nodded and was about to stand up to get something to eat when Wilson stopped her.

"Stay there. I'll get you something."

"Thank you Wilson. Wait let me give you some money."

"No, I'll pay." he smiled. "It's my obligation to look for my God son's well-being"

Cameron laughed but suddenly gasped as she clung to her stomach. Wilson noticed this and rushed to her side. "Allison, are you okay?"

Cameron didn't answer and passed out.

House had followed Cuddy into an exam room and was now curious than ever about what she wanted from him. Leaning against the wall, House watched as she paced up and down in front of him. Finally after a moment, as if she'd just realized he had indeed followed her, she sighed and blurted out.

"I need you to draw some of my blood."

"Because...?"House frowned.

"I need to know if I'm pregnant." she admitted nervously.

"I can't afford another kid." he joked but quickly shut up because Cuddy clearly wasn't in the mood to joke. "Does Wilson know?"

"No." she sighed deeply. "He knows I want kids but I'm not sure about him."

"Have you tried, I don't know, talking to him?" Seeing Cuddy's glare he knew he better shut up. Pushing himself of the wall he walked towards the counter and took a needle out of the drawer.

"Roll up your sleeve." he instructed. Cuddy did as she was told, glad he wouldn't ask anymore questions or pester her more. Moments later, the blood was in the tube and House was getting rid of the needle.

"Greg, one more thing." she said before he could reach the door, as he was getting out. "Not one word to Wilson!"

House stared at her, contemplating if it were smart to keep this from Wilson. From a previous talk, House knew Wilson wasn't ready at all to have a kid and he knew that if Cuddy would keep this from him, that Wilson would get really angry, argue with his wife and then sleep on House's couch.

On the other hand, Cuddy was his friend too and it wasn't even sure she was pregnant.

Nodding once, House turned around as suddenly both pagers went off. Both looked confused at glanced at their beepers. Cuddy gasped while House hurried out the door, soon followed by Cuddy.
