Very quickly the whole hospital had heard of the miracle that nobody thought could be possible, except of course for a certain blond someone who was grinning from ear to ear seeing the proud mother holding her baby in her arms a few hours after she had woken up and the baby had responded.
"I see he's even better than a few hours ago." Chase commented as he stood at the end of the bed.
"Yeah." Cameron smiled as she looked down at her son sleeping in her arms. "He's still a little weak though."
"He would get his strength a lot faster if his mother would have him in her arms all the time." House snarked from the chair.
"Oh shut up. You're just saying that because you haven't had him for some time now." Cameron grinned at his eye rolling, proving her right.
"Actually I didn't have him at all. I just touched him lightly and then the whole mess began." he pouted recalling what had happened.
"Then come here." she offered him a space next to her on the bed. House rose from the seat he had been and limped towards the bed. Cameron smiled at him and made room for him to lay down down to her.
"So, did you find a name for him yet?" Chase asked, interrupting the first real family moment.
"Yes," Cameron said. "Chase, let me formally introduce this little buddy to you. Robert Chase this is Noah Evan House. Noah, this is uncle Chase."
House winced at the 'uncle' part which Chase noticed and which made him laugh.
"It's nice to meet you Noah." Chase whispered to the baby smiling as the baby opened his eyes to look at him. "I think he likes me."
"Or he just wanted to see what the shiny thing is in front of him. Now get your sparkles out of his face." House said. Cameron smacked him playfully across the arm and mouthed 'be nice'. House sighed and got up taking the baby with him.
"Hey." Cameron protested. "I want him back."
"Mommy play time is over now. You need to rest." he said in an authoritative voice. "And so does he."
Cameron sighed but knew he was right. After placing the baby back in his incubator, House went to Allison and kissed her. "I'll be back later."
"Where are you going?" she asked.
"Getting something to eat."
"Wilson is in Cuddy's office." Chase said before House was out the door.
House abruptly stopped, looking at Chase. "Thanks." he answered after a moment.
Chase and Cameron laughed.

"So how is it being a dad?" Wilson asked smiling as he paid for his and House's lunch.
"Well the first hour was hell but right now it bearable." he said slowly thinking back at the horrible first hours since he'd been born.
"How's Allison doing?"
"She's fine. She's head over heals in love with Noah." he smiled remembering the perfect picture of his family. "I guess the 'You're the only one I love' doesn't count now."
Wilson laughed. "Jealous?"
"Don't be ridiculous." House snorted as they sat down on a table. "Everything is so new, and different."
"Yeah." Wilson said softly, barely audible, but House heard. He wondered if Cuddy had told him about the blood test but didn't want to ask bluntly so he did what he could best and tried another strategy.
"Changed your mind now about having your own kids after you saw mine?"
Wilson shook his head as House's question pulled him from his thoughts. "No, I mean yes." he sighed. "I don't know."
House noticed something different in Wilson's eyes, this isn't exactly what I thought would happen.
"You know." he stated.
Wilson's eyes shot up to House's. "No." he stammered. "Actually, I suspected but now I know."
House frowned. "No. You knew before."
Wilson looked serious, but nervous at the same time, and then laughed. "I don't know what you're talking about."
House narrowed his eyes. "You know exactly what I'm talking about."
Wilson held House's gaze until he sighed in defeat. No need to argue with him.
"Yes I knew. Because I did it."
"Well I hope you did it otherwise that'll mean she was unfaithful."
"I didn't mean it like that, idiot." Wilson snapped.
House was shocked. That was a first.
"I exchanged her birth control pills for placebos. Because I wanted her to get pregnant."
"So you waited until she would get pregnant without her pressuring you?"
"Something like that." Wilson whispered feeling ashamed. "But how did you know?" Wilson asked, now curious.
"Well you know me. I looked at her breast and then her mood swings." he lied.
"Could you please stop talking about staring at my wife's chest?" Wilson grimaced feeling jealous.
"I wouldn't be me then would I," he asked smugly as he stood up. "But don't worry. I've got a good pair of my own upstairs." he winked at his friend before limping away.
Wilson laughed and shook his head. Still, he didn't believe his friend and so he also stood up and went to look for his wife.

Hello =D
So, first of all, happy Birthday to me =P
Second of all, this is the last chapter for this year, I don't I'll be able to write another one this year. I wish you all a good start in the new year. I hope you liked this chapter, so if you did please review.
For hose who may want to know why I'm so horribly slow at writing lately, seeing as I have more time since there's no school. Well I got the whole Twilight saga for Christmas and I'm reading it, I actually can't stop ^^ but I did take a break because I'm reading 'New Moon' and it's just sad (I(m at the part where Edward left). Well anyway, happy new year to all of you. I love you guys.
