Digi12: Hello everyone. It's me. Nyoko. A.K.A. Digi12. Now you're probably wondering what's taking so long with the next chapter of 'Vampires Will Never Hurt You', 'Yami no Yaoi' and the other fics I've been planning on writing.
Justin: Continue.
Digi12: See the thing is, I've been in a major writing slump for quite some time. And whenever I wanted to write, it was really late. (For that part, I think it's all the RPing I'm doing on Puzzleshipping Haven myself. Takes up a lot of time and is way fun.) And so, I never really got around to it. And then one day while I was replying to one of my Uke-Atemu RP's...--sweatdrop-- The power went out.
Justin: --sighs--
Digi12: And down went my compy. Now during this time, i woudl like to inform to you all that I had about 74 viruses/infections on my computer one of those viruses being that dumb ContraVirusPro thingie that wouldn't leave me alone. Also, I never tutrned off my computer. Not even when I slept. So when i turned myu computer back on, a CMOS batter was corrupted. I tried getting around it but I couldn't and it wouldn't take me to my desktop because of said failure.
In other words, my computer wouldn't start up.
So, as a result, I had to do a System Restore on the computer. Now during a System Restore, what it does is, it deletes all the files on there (INCLUDING the stuff that mkes the compy run right) and reinstalls them through the recovery disk.
And guess what WASN'T on the recovery disk?
All my files, music, pictures, movies...everything.
I don't even have Microsoft office anymore. I'm typing this on Wordpad and I HATE WordPad.
So basically, the next chapter won't be out for a while. Thanks to the internet, I can easily retrieve what I had posted of Vampires and YnY and I sent a friend Hypnosis For Dummies so I can get that back too. Along with I Don't Love You, Snooze, and Ryou's Corpse Bride. Unfortunately I have lost Faust, My shcematics for my Quizilla stories All Alone and Song Of The Past, the Pre-Production layout for The Not Okay Kids, all of my pre-written crap fic stuff (A.K.A. Mocha Lady) along with my two failed books Hooliganda the Magical Clown and Little Guardian. I lost some other stuff but it wasn't as important. So it'll be taking me a bit longer due to this power failure.
Look, just be thankful this computer is even working at all.
And that I can get those files back. THAT'S lucky.
