Haku sat down slowly on his bed, having returned home to the missed her so much and all he could think about was the first time he met her, and all the times they'd spent together. She'd saved his life before, so why couldn't he save hers?
Feeling weak, and weary from his trek to Murky Village, he lay down, and slowly shut his eyes.
All of his dreams that day were of his little tenshi.
Opening her eyes, she found herself laid on a bed in a quaint little house. There were cobwebs in nearly every corner and a large, traditional grandfather clock, which chimed around eight resounding chimes.
As Chihiro stretched her weary bones, she caught a glimpse of her hands. They were covered in fur! Soft, white fur that felt warm and snug, but it was still fur.
She pounced off of the table and leapt up onto a desk. Staring in the mirror, she couldn't understand the white rabbit she could see staring back at her. She had no idea what had happened, and presumed she must be dreaming. She blinked a few times, but couldn't pinch herself, as she didn't have any fingers. What on earth was going on?
Haku awoke with a start from the strangest dream he'd ever had. He was in a dark corridor and was being followed by an army of millions of white rabbits. They had razor-sharp teeth and long claws, and they could jump three times what a normal rabbit could. He was running, his heart pounding wildly and then...
A flash of red light and he awoke.
He presumed it was down to the shock of everything that had happened recently but it was still extremely bizarre. Who was frightened of bunny rabbits? Haku got up out of bed and decided that the only way to understand his dream would be to go and visit Ashikaga once more.
He was magical enough, Haku believed, to be able to understand the psychology behind the killer rabbits.
