I see her. She's on the beach playing with her daughter and son. I 'm glad she's happy. We haven't seen each other in over thirty years. The last time I saw her she was four and I was eight.
FLASHBACK: 1979
"Eli, come play." Sydney calls from the back yard with her dolls in hand. I always play with her so I join her. My doll is Sparkle and Sydney's is Jewel. We play outside for two hours running around the back yard. We have tea parties, climb mountains, and go to the beach all in the back yard.
"Time for dinner Eli, Sydney." "Coming mommy," replies Sydney. We clean everything up and put it all away then we go inside to have dinner.
END FLASHBACK
I watch her children play. Isabelle Irina is six now with her mother's brown hair and her father's green eyes. Jonathan 'Jack' Noah is two with his mother's brown hair and brown eyes. They remind so much of when I was younger except reversed. In this case the girl is older.
I remember the night they took me. I was eight and asleep in my room. They came and grabbed me, I was so scared. I thought they were going to kill me and when I realized they weren't going to do that I thought that I'd never get to see my family ever again.
Four years later I was in a house in Moscow. My guardians were part of the group responsible for kidnapping me. They weren't home but I knew better than to try and escape. I heard someone opening the door so I grabbed the gun but when I saw who it was I dropped it. It was my mom. She quickly got me out of that house and I spent the rest of my childhood, the last six years, living with my mom in Paris after she explained everything to me. She even told me that I had another little sister that she was trying to find, just like me.
I look at the beach again, at Sydney. Thinking about all of my memories, the ones that I know she'll never remember. I know that if she catches me here she won't believe the truth. I walk away while watching Sydney as long as I can until she disappears from my sight.
I'm glad I finally got to see her. My little sister, Sydney Anne Bristow. Of course she'll never remember me, her big brother, Elijah Adrian Bristow.
I wish we could have had a chance to be a family, the three of us, me Elijah Adrian Bristow, Sydney Anne Bristow, and Nadia Eliza-Anne Bristow. But I know that it will never happen, all I'll ever have is my memoires. I take one last look at my little sister before I walk away.
