Today was different. Today, Tamaki was waking up.
But even so, it was still taking him an awfully long time. He had already gotten out of bed, and he still hadn't come around. He had already washed his face and brushed his teeth, and he still wasn't completely awake. Then he rushed downstairs and through the halls to the dining room, and it still didn't hit him.
"Shima? What can I have for breakfast that's quick and easy to eat? I'm going to be late."
"Well, Master Tamaki, there's quite a bit of the cake that the newlywed Hitachiins sent over from yesterday."
Suddenly, his eyes flew open.

Today was different. Today, Haruhi was waking up.
But even so, it was taking her an awfully long time. She had already yawned twice, and she still hadn't come around. She had already stretched her arms and blinked, and she still wasn't completely awake. Then she turned around to meet a shock of auburn hair, amber eyes and a sunny grin, and it still didn't hit her.
"What the—?!"
"Good morning. Did you sleep well, Mrs. Hitachiin?"
Suddenly her eyes flew open.

Today was different. It was different from all the rest. It marked the end of something for one person, and the start of something for another.
Because today, a man woke up and realized how much he loved a certain woman.
Because today, that same woman woke up next to someone who had realized it first.
A/N: I bet you thought different about this drabble because of my summary. Hahaha.
Okay, okay, I admit. This drabble was utter nonsense.
Lighter on the drama and shorter than my first drabble, but have you noticed that they both involve weddings? I just did.
(And no, I'm not telling you which Hitachiin twin Haruhi married. You tell me. xD )
