Rouge's Pov:
I walked to his house the next day. I hoped Shade wasn't there. I knocked.
Knuckles opened the door.
"Rouge?" He asked confused.
"Hi," I said.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, his face red.
"I wanted to see you.
"See me?" Knuckles asked.
"Yes. I've been wondering when you're going to brake up with Shade?" I asked.
"What makes you think I'll brake up with her?" Asked Knuckles.
"I saw her with someone else this morning. Some black hedgehog," I said.
"She's seeing Shadow!" He gasped.
"No. it was a different guy. This guy had blue stripes instead of red. I saw her kiss him. Knuckles face it, she's moved on to someone better," I said.
Knuckles looked away.
My plan was working perfectly, until she came.
"Knuckles?" she asked.
"Go away form me you cheater!" he snapped.
"Cheater? I love you Knuckles I'd never cheat in you!" Shade cried.
"Then why did Rouge say she saw you with a black hedgehog with blue stripes?" Asked Knuckles.
Shade looked at me with anger in her eyes.
"She obviously wants you back," Shade said.
He pulled Shade close to him.
"we'll she isn't even close to getting me back so she can back off my love life," He growled.
Knuckles' Pov:
I sighed.
"Shade… I'm sorry, for letting Rouge get to me," I said.
She moved closer to me.
"I forgive you, I always will," she whispered.
I nuzzled her cheek.
"Are you sure you're okay?" She asked.
"I' fine when I'm with you, Shade. I always will be."
