Atention: This episode is the whole crappy-detailed one where you find out things that will have a big role in my fiction. Chapter 7 will be as the others again. Here it is. Enjoy anyway. ^^

Chapter 6. Surprises

As predicted, the team got to Konoha's main gate two days later. The rest of the Konoha 12 were there waiting for them and as soon as they saw Naruto, they ran toward him. He received a pat on the back from Kiba, a nod from Shino, a hug from Ino and a smile from both Chouji and Shikamaru. Everyone was surprised at all this.

"Gee, guys. It's not that I'm not happy about this but why the nice homecoming?" Naruto asked giving them a big smile.

"We just came to see our hero and his teammates." Ino said hugging him again. Hinata was a bit jealous and felt boiling inside. Calm down, Hinata. It's just a friendly hug. She smiled at the blond Kunoichi, who received a puzzled look from Naruto.

"We heard about Kyuubi." Kiba explained, as he noticed his friend's expression. "Hey, pal, we owe you big for keeping the big guy safely locked away." Team Gai smiled. They had been told about the demon Kitsune.

Flashback

Everyone sat around the bonfire. It was eight o'clock in the evening. Naruto was receiving glares from Tenten and Lee, as soon as he noticed it, he put away his ramen bowl (Hinata and Sakura had decided to give him ramen as a reward) and started talking.

"I know you are curious to know what that was all about" He said looking at them seriously. "And I'm not going to make you wait any longer." He waited a minute thinking about how to start. "After I tell you this you'll possibly be afraid of me and I completely understand that, but honestly I doubt you would do that." Naruto looked at Hinata, who nodded.

"I'm sure you know about the history of Konoha." She said as Tenten and Lee stared into her Byakugan eyes. "Think about what happened seventeen years ago." She continued. Lee was the first to speak.

"I believe it was the year our honorable Yondaime passed away." Naruto nodded.

"Exactly. I suppose you know how he died." He said

"He died fighting against Kyuubi." Tenten replied. "It's odd, my father tells me that he didn't kill it. He told me he had to seal it inside a human vessel. I think it's all bull-crap, though."

Hinata and Naruto eyed each other.

"It isn't." Hinata confirmed. Tenten and Lee stared at them wide-eyed. "Do you know when Naruto's birthday is?" They shook their heads.

"October, Tenth." Naruto said looking at his feet as his friend's jaw dropped to the ground.

"That means…"

"I'm the vessel to Kyuubi. It was sealed in me the day I was born. That's why I never tell ANYONE when my birthday is. People would figure it out." That was followed by a long silence as both Tenten and Lee stared blankly at no place at all.

"YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!" Lee suddenly yelled out making everybody jump back in surprise. "You're a hero Naruto-kun. I knew your power of youth was big, but now I basically see you glowing with it!" He looked at his sensei, who gave him thumbs up as his teeth sparkled. Tenten smiled and hugged Naruto tightly making both Hinata and Neji stiffen.

Hyuuga jealousy.

"So, now I don't have to hide the truth anymore?" Naruto asked. Shino shook his head and smiled behind his coat's collar. The blond opened his mouth to talk and a: "Good for you, kid." Came out in a demonic voice. "Shut up fur-ball" Naruto replied out loud "You'll scare them with that lovely voice of yours." The Konoha 12 all started laughing, even Shino, who laughed for the second time in his life (the other one was on a mission with Naruto, I'm sure you remember it).

"It appears everyone's in a good mood." Tsunade said appearing behind Chouji, who was at the very back.

"Baa-chan!"

"Naruto, the next time you call me an old lady I swear I'll give you your beating of a lifetime." Everyone sweat-dropped, except for Shino and Shikamaru.

"How troublesome." He mumbled lazily looking at the clouds above him.

"Naruto?" an expressionless voice asked. Naruto moved away from Kiba, who was blocking the figure and saw before him a red haired Sand Shinobi and his two siblings.

"Gaara!" He held out his hand and the Kazekage shook it. "It's been a long time!"

"Indeed. I see you just got back from a mission, how did it go?"

"Well… I actually got rid of two Akatsuki members."

"Oh, really? It's nice to know someone is actually doing something about those freaks." Naruto only nodded.

"Okay, let's end the chat right there." Tsunade interrupted placing a hand on Naruto's shoulder. He had gotten two inches taller than her.

"I want all of you to meet me tonight at eight at the Golden Rice Restaurant (Weird name, but bear with me!), Kazekage-sama, you are welcome to join us there. I want to talk to all of you." Everyone's jaw dropped.

"But Tsunade-Ob--- Tsunade-neechan, that's the fanciest restaurant here in Konoha." Tsunade smiled.

"Don't worry, it's my treat. You better come with a tux guys!" She yelled out the second part as she turned away and left. Naruto took Hinata by the hand as everybody else went home.
"Come, Hina-chan, I'll take you home."

"Arigato, Naru-kun." She replied and started walking toward the Hyuuga mansion. At the gates he gave Hinata a peek on the cheek and left. She entered her home.

"Oh, Hinata!" A deep voice exclaimed. She turned and met her father. Hinata bowed and Hiashi nodded. "How was your mission?"

"A success." She answered, surprising her father by hugging him. She started running towards her room and yelled back at him: "Tonight the Konoha 12, Hokage-sama and the Sand Kazekage and his siblings have a meeting dinner at the Golden Rice, so I won't be home for dinner." She finished and entered her room, opening her closet and immediately starting to look for a nice evening-dress.

Temari and Gaara walked into a shop to get the Kazekage a tux.

"Temari, why can't I just wear my Kazekage outfit? It's formal" He asked obviously annoyed.

"Come on Gaara, don't be a party-pooper. Every other guy will be wearing a t---" She stopped staring at the figure in front of her. There was a lazy, black-haired jonin in front of her wearing a dark-blue smoking. He was leaning against a wall completely ignoring what Chouji said, and then he noticed Temari and her brother, but his attention was on the blonde Sand Kunoichi. Shikamaru walked away from Chouji, who was now talking to open air, and headed towards them.

"Hi." He said trying not to sound lazy

"Hey, Shika." Temari replied smiling, while Gaara only nodded.

"So, this is a men's tuxedo shop, what are you doing here?" Temari let go of Gaara's wrist.

"I was trying to find clothes for him." She said, pointing to an open space where her brother was supposed to be. "Damn he ran away, well gotta go find him, see you tonight." Temari waved at him leaving.

The rest of the day went flying by and before Naruto knew it, it was already 8 o'clock. Time to leave, kid. Kyuubi said. Naruto wore a normal black suit, with a white shirt and orange tie and so, he left home.

The girls had all gathered at Sakura's place. Each of them took the dress they wanted to wear by the hand. Tenten took a knee long white and lilac (Neji's favorite color) dress with no back and white boots with an 8 centimeter big heel.
Ino's dress was silver-blue and almost touched the ground and showed every curve of her body when worn. She took a silver necklace with a small heart-shaped ornament, which had an "I" marked on it. She brought with her light-blue high heels.
Hinata decided to bring a dark purple dress, which ended two inches below her knees. The right, lower side of it was opened and exposed her right leg. The dress was decorated with small, sparkling diamonds and was used with a black belt. She had also taken a diamond bracelet her mother had given to her before she died and black heels.
Sakura took a bright, pink dress out of her closet and laid it on her bed next to her friend's dresses. It was very similar to Ino's.

"NANI? Why do you have a dress so similar to mine, Ino-pig?!"

"What do you mean? You have tons of dresses in your closet and took out the one that looked exactly like mine. It's your fault, Billboard-brow."

"What did you call me?!"

"What you heard me call you." They continued arguing until Tenten took out one of her weapons and started swinging it around.

"If you don't shut up, you'll go see Tsunade-sama at the hospital and not at the restaurant." She yelled angrily. As the Kunoichi calmed themselves down and Tenten put her weapon away, they went back to the dresses.

"So…" Hinata said "How about we get dressed and then take care of make-up and stuff?" The rest nodded as they took their dresses and accessories and started getting dressed.

The Sand siblings were in their rented mansion getting dressed as well. Temari had finally convinced Gaara to wear a nice suit. He and Kankuro were already dressed and waiting for Temari to get out of the room.

"Oh, why do GIRLS have to take this long to get dressed?!" Kankuro commented impatiently. That's when they heard giggles inside the room.

"Gaaraaaaaa!" Temari called in a sing-song voice. "I have a surprise for you." She came out of the room dressed in a black and gold dress that touched the ground. She wore black high-heels and had a golden purse around her shoulder. Her hair remained as usual.

"And what's the big surprise?" Gaara asked in a monotone voice.

"Come out!" She yelled and instantly a brunette girl came out in a dark red, brownish dress that ended a few inches below her knees. Her hair, that used to be shoulder-long, was now shorter, because she had it curled up. Gaara just stood there in astonishment (OOC, I know).

"M-m-matsuri?" He asked and Matsuri giggled.

"That's right Gaara, I brought your girlfriend." Temari proudly said.

"Hello, Gaa-kun."

And after a short talk they headed out towards the Golden Rice.

Tsunade, Shizune, the sand Shinobi and the Senseis were already at the restaurant. Then Team Asuma, Team Gai, Team Kakashi and Sai (without Sakura) and Team Kurenai (arrived and took their seat. The girls hadn't arrived yet.

"So, Kazekage sama, how much long do you plan to stay?" Tsunade asked. She was wearing a green dress without back and a black night coat. She had black high heels.

"I'm trying to be away from the paperwork as much as possible." Gaara explained "So I'm not planning on getting home yet." Tsunade chuckled. Not him too. Shizune thought frowning.

"Where are the girls?" Chouji asked gobbling up bread and at that minute the six Kunoichi entered the restaurant looking around. As they spotted the table they started smiling. Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Gaara, Neji, Lee, Kiba, Chouji and Kankuro immediately stood up Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Neji and Kiba getting each a massive nosebleed, which they quickly got rid of. Everyone sat on their respective chairs, Naruto and Hinata remained in the same place looking each other in the eyes, receiving a weird look from everyone except Team Gai and Team Kakashi.

"Are you sure you're my girlfriend?" Naruto asked. "I knew she was beautiful but you look more like an angel." Hinata giggled, went over to him and peeked him on the cheek.

"You look good too." She replied. As they sat down they noticed everyone staring at them with a smirk.

"You're together?!" Kiba asked in disbelief.

"Pretty much." Naruto said encircling Hinata with his left arm. Everyone in the room chuckled. "What?" Sakura gave Naruto her small mirror, he looked into it and saw a red lipstick-mark on his cheek. He started laughing while Hinata whipped it away with a tissue. Naruto rubbed the back of his head, slightly embarrassed.

And so the evening went on, they ate their dishes and at the end Sakura and Sasuke shared a dessert.

"This has turned into a romantic dinner." Tsunade whispered to herself. "Okay, everyone!" She clanged her glass with her silver dessert spoon. Everyone's attention turned to the Hokage. "As you probably know, this whole evening wasn't just for fun and games. When we are done here, I want you all in my office. Of course Kazekage-sama and the Sand Shinobi may leave."

"We would rather go with you if that's okay." Temari said looking at Shikamaru, who blushed a shade of pink.

"You are highly welcome to join us." Gaara only nodded.

After dinner it was about ten o'clock in the evening and so they headed to the Hokage's tower.

"So, Gaara-san." Neji started "What's your relationship with Matsuri-san?"

"She's my girlfriend." Gaara replied emotionlessly.

"Is that right?" Naruto asked. "Good to see you finally found out what love is." He nodded. Then, they arrived at the tower, entered it and knelt down on the pillows in front of Tsunade's own pillow.

"Let's start. " She informed

Kakashi stood up putting his hand up.

"Are we going to talk about… him?" He asked looking the Godaime in the eyes.

"Hai. Naruto, we're going to talk about your family." Naruto's eyes widened, everyone stared at him as he stood up and pointed at Tsunade.

"Y-you know, who my family is? Are they alive? W-w-what happened?" The Sannin shook her head motioning him to sit down.

"Gomen, Naruto. They are not longer with us." A tear fell down her cheek. "Your mother was one of my closest friends and your father saved this village many times. Just like his son" She smiled weakly. "Your mother was Uzumaki Kushina and she originally came from the Whirlpool village. She was Jonin rank, one of the strongest Kunoichi of all times, feared by her enemies, here she is." Tsunade nodded to Shizune who turned on a projector and an image of a red-haired Kunoichi appeared on the wall. She wore a black outfit that showed a lot of her body. The boys in the room almost got a nosebleed.

"That's my mom?!" Naruto asked in astonishment, Tsunade only nodded.

"She was also a prankster, ramen-fan, but was serious when she needed to… Even though you don't look anything like her, the first time I saw you, I knew you were her son." She chuckled. "That was the easiest part." She sighed. "Your father…" Everyone in the room stiffened. "He met your mother while she was on a mission here in Konoha and they immediately fell in love with each other. He was a very well known man here in the village, so he had a fan-club, bigger than yours, since he was..." She nodded at Shizune again. The picture on the wall changed and in front of them they saw a man with blue eyes, spiky blond hair, he wore the Hokage hat and on his white cape was written: Konoha's Yellow Flash. "The Hokage." OH, yeah, he looked hot!

She finished. Everyone in the room just stared in shock at the man on the wall as their jaws fell to the ground. Naruto was shaking and a tear fell down his cheek, flowed past the whisker-marks and fell on top of Hinata's hand. She turned to him, noticed he was crying and, as instinct, jumped over to him to hold him in a tight hug as he sobbed into her shoulder. Everyone else turned to him and gave him a sympathetic look.

"His name was Minato Namikaze..." Tsunade continued and Naruto turned back to face her "and he was Konoha's Yellow Flash, aka our honorable Yondaime Hokage. Kushina died during childbirth and Minato while" She sighed "sealing Kyuubi inside of you." Naruto couldn't take it anymore and stood up.

"Why did he do it, why did he seal Kyuubi inside his own son?" He yelled.

"To protect you." Kakashi said, also standing up. "Minato-sensei knew he would die and he knew you would be left alone. So, to make you stronger he gave you Kyuubi. He said he wanted people to see you as a hero, of course you know what happened next. They did exactly the opposite." Naruto sat back down being comforting by Hinata's hand she had placed on his lap.

"We have a video from two weeks before you were born." Naruto's eyes brightened. "Shizune do you have it there?"

"I think so." She replied "Just give me two minutes or so until I find it." And so she began searching. Sakura stood up and went over to hug Naruto.

"I'm sorry." She said.

"Don't be." He said smiling. Sakura let go of him while the rest of Konoha 12 gathered around them. "I'm the son of the honorable Fourth Hokage, why should I be sad?" Hinata smiled and started playing with his hair. "Oi, that reminds me, Tsunade-neechan." Tsunade smiled at the suffix. "Why is my name Uzumaki, when it's supposed to be Namikaze?"

"Naruto, your true name is Namikaze Naruto and now that you know it, you'll be called that too, if you want to of course. You are the official heir to the Namikaze clan and you'll get everything your father and mother left for you." Tsunade explained. "You were called Uzumaki for a simple reason. Your father has a lot of enemies, including the entire Earth Country, can you imagine what they would do to you if they found out you were his son?" He just sat there for a few minutes thinking about it. When he opened his mouth to talk…

"FOUND IT!" Shizune yelled from behind the projector. "I'll put the video on." She messed with the video camera and cassette and soon the video was rolling on the office's wall.

"Hey, Jiraya." A female voice said teasingly and a younger Jiraya appeared on the wall.

"Lose the camera, Tsunade. It's annoying."

"Mister no-fun, life isn't all about peeping on girls."

"Whatever, ju—"

"Hey, hey, Ero-sennin!" A voice called and the camera turned to a blond figure next to the door with a book on his hand. Naruto stiffened at the nickname he gave his old sensei. Back to the video, Minato put the book on top of the table. "I just read your book." Shizune paused the video. Everyone in the room fell back anime-style except for the senseis and Tsunade

"My father read those perverted books?!" Naruto asked in disbelief.

"Jiraya's first book wasn't as the others are." Tsunade explained "It was a story about a ninja who… well, let's just watch the video." And so it continued.

"It's not that good of a book." Jiraya said.

"Are you kidding? This is gold!" A fifteen year-old Kakashi entered the room.

"Minato-sensei showed me your book; I think you should continue writing."

Back in real life Tsunade said this was where Kakashi got his passion for his books, making everyone chuckle.

Minato picked up the book and started searching for a page.

"Let's see… AHA! Here it is. 'I promised I would beat you and save my village and I never go back on my word, because that's my nindo, my ninja way.'" He read aloud. "That's my line!" He chuckled and continued reading. '"What's your name? How were you able to do that?" He asked

"My name is Naruto, from Konoha. The rest is a secret."'" Minato closed the book. "You know, me and Kushina-chan liked it so much, we decided to name our son after the main character." Jiraya froze.

"Are you sure? It's just a name I chose randomly." The same red-haired Kunoichi from before opened the door and slowly walked to her husband. She was obviously pregnant.

"Naruto…" she said in a soft, silky voice. "It's a beautiful name." Minato smiled while Jiraya just whispered her name.

"Ooooooh, what a cute family moment." Tsunade commented. Everyone in the room sweat-dropped.

"Whatever." Jiraya continued. "I guess that means I'm his… you know… godfather."

"Pretty much." Kushina answered rubbing her belly.

"One day, I'm gonna sell this video on E-Bay." Tsunade said. Kakashi, Kushina, Minato and Jiraya rushed towards her yelling: 'Give me the damn camera' and the video ended.

"So the Yondaime is Naruto's father, huh? Impressive." Kiba said. Naruto just sat there looking at the now white wall.

"Naruto?" Tsunade asked worriedly.

"Why?" He replied very quietly. "Why didn't you tell me before? And why the hell in front of the Konoha 12?" His voice rose a bit.

"I had a meeting with the clan leaders and told them. They said they would tell the whole village if I didn't." Naruto froze for a second.

"Lemme guess, they don't see me as Kyuubi anymore." Tsunade nodded.

"That's correct. Some people are looking for you all through the village to apologize, but since they couldn't find you, they left me letters. Here" she opened a drawer and took out a pile of about 20 letters. They were all apologies from clans like Inuzuka, Yamanaka, Akimichi, Haruno, Nara, Yuhi, Sarutobi (The list goes on) and the last one was Hyuuga. It was written and signed by Hiashi Hyuuga, which made Naruto's mind click. He held the paper in his hand.

"What's wrong Naruto?" Ino asked looking worriedly at him.

"Does Hiashi-sama know, Hina-chan?" He asked ignoring the blond Kunoichi.

"About wha—oh…" Suddenly Hinata remembered. "Not that I know of, but NEJI" She gave her cousin a death-glare as Neji turned his head away embarrassed. "Told Hanabi." She finished.
"Do you think he'll accept it?"

"Well, since you saved the village uncountable times and are the Namikaze clan leader, I think he will. I'll talk to him, he'll probably want to see you."

"That's fine. I just want him to accept it."

"So, what'll happen to Naruto now?" Shikamaru asked in a not-so-bored-as-usual tone.

"If he wants, he can form his own clan, the Namikaze clan." Everyone turned to Naruto, awaiting an answer. As he was about to talk Tsunade's voice was heard again. "But… the only person he would probably want to marry is Hinata." They both blushed. It was still weird for them. They just got together a few weeks ago and people are already starting to talk about their marriage. Of course it was a normal thing, but the couple couldn't help it. The Godaime continued. "So it wouldn't be an easy life for her. She had to be part of two clans and the heiress of one and that's impossible…" Hinata looked worried.

"What do you mean, Hokage-sama?"

"Either you give up on being the Hyuuga heiress, or Naruto gives up on being the Namikaze heir, you can only be part of one clan." Tsunade sighed. "It's your choice of course. If you decide on going to Hyuuga, Naruto, the Namikaze line ends right there. But if Hinata joins the Namikaze clan, she has to get a caged-bird seal, for she has the Byakugan and knows it's secrets. She won't get it if she leaves the clan completely. That would be a shame, so you have to think wisely and don't lose your temper."

"And what if they didn't get married?" Tenten asked, hope filling her eyes.

"Then they could never have children, because of the Hyuuga's 'honor'." Tenten sighed. She thought she would have gotten away with that idea. There was an awkward silence.

"Sooo…" Sasuke begun "What happens to the dobe now?"

"He's currently in the same status as you, the last of the clan." Tsunade answered "Naruto will receive the Namikaze mansion and everything there is inside."

"The mansion hasn't been used in 17 years." Kakashi informed. "It's exactly as sensei left it. Here!" He threw Naruto the house-keys. "He told me to give it to you when you were older."

"Arigato." Naruto said, nodding.

"Well, that's all to it, you may go. Have a good night." Tsunade finally said. It had been a long month.

"Tsunade-sama." Shizune said. "I don't think it was a good idea to tell it in front of the whole group."

"I think you're right... but you know that the council would tell them the worst way possible." She sighed looking out the window. "I just hope he understands."

"127, Konoha Main Street? Isn't that the fancy neighborhood?" Naruto asked with a small part of a paper from Tsunade's notebook in his hand.

"Well, he was the Hokage AND Clan head." Hinata, his only company at the moment replied. He had asked ever so sweetly for her to join him that she couldn't refuse. They were walking down the street Naruto counting the houses out loud.

"121, 123, 125… AHA! 127 Main—WOOOW! Look at the size of this place!" Naruto and Hinata both stared at the house, or rather mansion, in front of them. It was about the size of the Hyuugas' place, painted with a brick-red color, with a big wooden door that almost shined in glory. They walked toward it and Naruto slowly opened the door. He was actually scared. This was the place where his father and mother lived. Actually, it was the place where his whole Clan lived. It was the place he had walked past a few times while a kid. And it hasn't been touched for almost 18 years. The last one in it was his father. Naruto quickly started to feel weird, like he was breaking into a house that had nothing to do with him. Hinata noticed he was shaking, frozen in place, his hand still on the door-knob. She placed her soft hand on top of it making him relax a bit.

"It's okay Naru-kun." She comforted. Naruto nodded and opened the door. He had never seen anything like this. It looked even bigger on the inside. The hallway walls were a relaxing light gray. Just the hallway was about as big as a normal house nowadays and decorated with all sorts of things, like paintings, coin and seashell collections a big clock that occupied a corner in the room and there were also the wooden stairs that lead upstairs. There were three doors, one on the right, one on the left and one straight across the room.

They had a quick tour around the house and found a kitchen, two libraries, a dining-room, a sitting room, about twenty bathrooms, a playroom, a training room and of course the garden outside. This was all on the lower level; the upper-level was all rooms and some more bathrooms. Two rooms got his attention. Naruto and Hinata entered the biggest room of the house.

It had purple walls and a wooden floor. It was his parents' room. It was decorated with pictures of Minato and Kushina and some of when she was pregnant. Naruto smiled and moved to the last room. This one had blue walls, lots of toys were spread across the room and, against one of the walls, there was a baby-crib. Hinata smiled gently and hugged her boyfriend. It was his room. The room that would have belong to him if it wasn't for the Kyuubi. Naruto was also aware of this and his face brightened. Suddenly the house began to feel more warm and welcome. His room. It was meant for him! This was HIS house.

The couple went downstairs and sat on the couch in the living room.

"Have you decided where you're going to sleep?" Hinata asked, trying to hide the curiosity as much as possible.

"It would feel weird to sleep on any of the beds." He admitted "So I guess I'll take the couch" He lazily fell to the dark-red sofa and made himself comfortable, removing the tie he wore through evening. "What a day!" He said. Hinata nodded.

"Well, it's late. I should be getting home." Hinata replied, and he knew, as much as he hated it, that it was true. She bent down and planted a soft kiss on his forehead, turning away.

"Good night, Naruto-kun." He didn't respond. The Hyuuga thought he could be already sleeping and started walking towards the door… only to be stopped by something. Her sleeve was caught on something. She turned around and saw Naruto holding her sleeve tightly, not willing to let go.

"Naruto-kun?"

"Stay… please?" She did…
