A/N: I decided to challenge myself. I chose random pairings (literally random-I had no idea in advance which two characters would get together) and wrote a little baby story. The first couple is...Jesse and Terri! *gasp* I know.

Disclaimer: No, I do not own Glee. If I did...chaos!

Jesse knocks on the door he knows to be Mr. Schuester's. He expects the curly-haired Spanish teacher and Glee club director. He expects the teacher to greet him with a surprised "Jesse!" and ask what he's doing at his apartment in the crappy complex with the mildew-covered garage and rotting wood.

He doesn't expect a beautiful young woman with curly blond hair falling gently over her shoulders. He doesn't expect her to jerk back in surprise, but then cover it up with a welcoming facade. He doesn't expect her to say, "Welcome!" and open the door wide and let him into her apartment.

He walks through the door, almost warily. It's not every day a woman he doesn't know invites him into his home, but he knows that it must be every day for Noah Puckerman.

The woman closes the door behind her. "Sit." She gestures towards an empty chair. "I haven't seen any nice boys since Will left me." She sends a slight glance Jesse's way. "You are one of...of Mr. Schuester's students, right? From the damn glee club?"

He sits down on the couch where she has just perched precariously. He leans close to the woman, Mrs. Schuester. He recalls her being named...Terri, is it? "Yes. I am."

His breath is warm on her neck. She turns her head. Their mouths are, at most, an inch apart. Later, neither will know who made the first move, but they share a passionate kiss. It is interrupted by a knock on the door and it opens before the two can break apart.

Will stops in the doorway, knuckles white against the door frame. His face is red, a vein bulging on his forehead. "What the hell?" His voice is oddly calm, despite the scene he just witnessed.

"Oh, hi, Will." Terri plasters a fake smile on her face. "Your student came looking for you."

"And you welcome my students by sticking your tongue down their throats?" Will counters.

Jesse steps forward, speaking for the first time. "This is all just a big misunderstanding," he says. "I was coming to ask for the sheet music for Rachel. 'Popular,' from Wicked. Her copy got slushied."

He isn't lying-that was the actual reason why he came.

"I'll give it to her tomorrow," Will says. "I gotta go."

He backs away and leaves Terri and Jesse alone. Terri shifts on the couch, fidgeting with something akin to nervousness, except Terri doesn't get nervous.

"Shall we get back to what we were doing before we got interrupted?" she suggests.

A feral grin lights Jesse's face. "I'd very much enjoy that."

And that's how their relationship begins. They meet every so often, and have some fun. Jesse understands why Puck likes the cougars, and Terri is empathetic for the cougars themselves.

All in all, they have lots of fun with each other.

Well, what do you think? Should I continue? Please review!
