Sonny's POV:

"Uhhhh...I can explain!"

"Uh-huh," Tawni said, "Then please do."

"Well, "I said as I started to stand up and brush myself off "I was just sitting on the beach...and I ran into Chad, and he sai-"

"Ugh. Forget it Sonny. I don't care. And to think we were just gonna invite you to get some Fro-Yo!" Tawni said angrily.

"What? You guys! What about our day at the beach?"

"All the people in the water are scaring away the sea creatures...so I have nothing to do!" Zora said.

"And whenever we ask if the ladies need help with sun tan lotion..." Nico started

"They just throw sand in our face." Grady ended.

"Plus it is just TOO hot out here, Sonny! And you know what heat leads to? Sweat! And Tawni Hart does NOT sweat!"

"So you guys were just gonna leave?"

"Yes, we came to see if you wanna get some Fro-Yo with us. But obviously you are already pre-occupied." Tawni said with an upset glare.

"You guys! It was nothing! I jus-"

"Oh zip it sister! We'll just go without you now!" Zora declared.

"Yeah!" Tawni said! "We did take the studio car, afterall. So any of us can take it."

"But you guys! I had a whole day planned! And how am I supposed to get back to the studio to get my car?"

"I guess Chip Drama Pants over there will have to take you!" Grady said.

I looked at Chad, who still hadn't moved.

"I...uh...yeah. Sure. Yeah." Chad said, awkwardly.

"Well, have fun, Sonny!" Tawni said as they all stormed off.

Chad's POV:

"What...just...happened" I thought to myself, still proccesing what was going on while they were still in mid argument.

"I guess Chip Drama Pants over there will just have to take you!" Grady said.

Without thinking, I said "I...uh...yeah. Sure. Yeah."

Then they stormed off.

"That went well." Sonny said sarcastically, turning to me.

"Yeah. It went superbly."

"...did you just say "superbly?" Sonny said, as she started giggling.

"No." I said smiling, as I made my way toward the water.

I turned around to see Sonny still standing there. "Monroe! You coming or what?"

"To do what?"

"Surf! Remember?"

Sonny's POV:

"Wow...after that akwardness he still wanted to teach me to surf? I really would've expected him to ditch me, or do something more Chad Dylan Cooper like, not sweet, caring Chad like." I thought to myself.

"Oh...right. Yeah let's go!" I said, running towards him.

I finally caught up to him. He had the surfboard ready to go.

"Alright..time to show off the "Chabs." He said under his breath, not aware I heard him.

I laughed.."Chabs?"

"Yes, Chabs. I already had to explain this to Rico and Gravy."

"It's Nico & Grady."

"Like I care. Anyway, "Chabs" are a pattented combination of Chad, Ha, that's me, and abs. Together, they make "Chabs." He said with a great big smirk on his face.

"Wow..."Chabs"...alrighty then."

Chad slowly made his way to the water, and began to take off his white t-shirt, leaving just his swim trunks. His blonde hair rustled in the wind. "Wow." I thought to myself "He really does have Chabs. He's so dreamy!" (I did NOT just say that!)

15 Minutes Later

"Alright now just stand up!"

"But...I'm..."

"You're what, Sonny?"

"Afraid ok! I'm afraid to stand up."

"*laughs* There's nothing to be afraid of. It's just water. It's not gonna eat you." Chad said with a smirk.

"Well...will you hold me?"

"Excuse me?" Chad said while a worried look grew on his face.

"I meant, hold me when I stand up. Just until I get the hang of it."

"Oh..*laughs* Yeah. Sure"

Chad placed his hands on my waist as I slowly started to stand. "Wow..he's so strong." (What is wrong with me!)

"Hey, I'm doing it! I'm standing! Now..let go!"

"Sonny I don't think that's a good ide-."

I pulled his hands off my waist.

"Look! I'm surfing! I'm reall-."

I fell off my board, disapearing underwater. I shot up, and took a breath. I looked over at Chad who looked like he had just seen a ghost.

"Sonny! Are you ok?"

"Relax, Chad. I'm fine. I just fell."

"Well you were practically swallowed by the water!"

"Ha. And you said it wouldn't eat me." I said as I grabbed the board and slowly started walking out of the water.

Chad's POV:

"Gosh...she really scared me for a second. She grabbed the board and slowly started walking out of the water. She looked up at me, her skin shining bright as the sun caused a reflection from the water. She flipped her hair from side to side. This is like one of those slow motion moments you see in really macho guy movies. Sonny looked HOT." (WHAT AM I SAYING?)

"Chad. CHAD!" I heard Sonny yell.

I must have been staring. Great.

"What?" I said, acting as nothing happened.

"You look like you've never seen a person before...you alright?"

"*scoffs* Yeah...I'm fine. Just spaced out for a second. Jeez what is this, "National Harass Chad Day!" I said in a defensive tone.

"Jeez Chad...defensive much?" She said, as she shot me a dirty look.
