SPOV:

I ran around and around not allowing Chad to catch me. I couldn't help but giggle the whole time.

"Alright Monroe! I give." Chad said as he stopped and folded to grab his knees.

"I used to run track in high school. It wasn't exactly hard." I said proudly.

"Gotta give you props, Sonny. Looks like you do have nice legs that can move."

"WHAT is this I'm hearing? 2 compliments? In one sentence? Do you feel that? I think the Earth just stopped spinning!"

"Ha-ha, very funny." He said as he threw a handful of sand in my direction.

"Oh, it's on!" I said as I grabbed 2 handfuls and started throwing them towards him.

This went on for almost 5 minutes. I bent over, my back facing him as I grabbed more sand. Right as I turned around I came in contact with a fistful of sand.

"OW!" I yelled as I held my eye and ran over to sit on the rock.

"Sonny! Are you alright?" Chad asked as he sprinted over and cupped my face with one of his hands.

"Yeah...I just got some sand in my eye, it really burns!"

"Sonny, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you." He said as the genuine concern grew in his eyes.

"Chad, it's ok. It was an accident. I just need to flush it out."

"Oh! I'll just run down to the shore!" He started to take off.

"Chad?"

"Huh?"

"...it's Saltwater."

"...rrigghhttt. Uhh...here's a bottled water."

"My vision is completely clouded. I can't see anything outta this eye!"

"Here." Chad said as he poured the water into his hands and gently started rubbing my eyes. He made small caressing circles as he got the grains out. I smiled at him as he wiped it for the final time. He put a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Does it look bad?" I asked.

"No."

"Chad."

"No."

"Chad."

"N-okay yes. A little."

"Well? Is it big? Red? Puffy? Swollen?"

"Along with bloodshot."

"Ugh. Great. I look like a disaster."

"You look beautiful, Sonny." Chad said as he looked into my eyes.

"Really?" I asked, watching the moon reflect off of his.

"Really." He said as a small, sweet smile played on his lips.

I looked at him. He looked at me. Our eyes locked. He closed his eyes and leaned in. I followed.

"Answer your phone, sucka! Answer your phone, sucka! Answer your phone, sucka!"

I sighed still inches away from Chad. Way to kill the mood. "REALLY. Chad? REALLY?"

He chuckled and grabbed his phone. "Lemme hear ya say heeeeyyyyy!"

"Oh hi Mommy." I started laughing. He still calls his Mom, Mommy.

"Ooo yes! And then, make me a sammich, and don't forget to cut off the crust."

He hung up the phone. I just stared at him. He looked at me.

"Chad! Don't speak to your Mom that way!" I said as I smaked his arm.

"And what is with that RIDICULOUS ringtone?"

"Hey, at least my ringtone isn't a cow." He shot back.

I sighed in defeat.

"Yeah, if mine had gone off, that would've been a real MOO'd killer, huh?" I said as I started laughing uncontrollably. "Get it? MOO'd killer?" I asked still laughing.

He just looked at me and chuckled. "And that is why "So Random!" is the number #2 most popular Tween show. Because of horrible jokes like that."

"Awwwww, c'mon!" I said nudging his arm. "You gotta admit it was clever!"

"Whatever puts you to sleep at night Monroe." He said as he walked over to the edge and sat down. I sat down next to him and put my head on his shoulder.

I let out a deep sigh. I looked up at the stars. "The stars sure are bright."

"Yes I am." Chad sighed happily. "Oh. You meant those. Eh. They're a'ight." He said as he turned to me and winked.

I nudged his arm once more. "You are the most self centered, conceited jerk throb I've ever met."

"But you love me." He said staring down at the dark water.

"Do not."

"Do too."

"Do not!"

"Please, EVERYONE loves Chad Dylan"

"Cooper. Yeah. I get it."

"Do you, Sonny? Do you really?"

I just let it go as he smirked. I snuggled closer into his shoulder and he put his arm around me. I closed my eyes and just took it all in.

A/N: Okay guys, so I know, this is kinda a pointless chapter, definitley not my best, but since I made you guys wait so long, I kinda just aimed for a "fluff" chapter as you FF's refer it as. Also, I know they're slightly OOC, but hey, if you want fluff, you want fluff. Please review!
