Hello my amazing readers. Today I will be introducing a new story. Not involving My Hero Academia this time, but instead involving two different animes.
The two of them being complete legends that are referenced to this day.
Dragon Ball and Naruto.
This story was inspired from another story created by a wattpad creator of JungleFurious. Of course they were not the first to create this story, but I did get inspired by them. Sadly it hasn't been updated for quite a while.
Seeing that it hasn't been updated for a while, I decided to take my shot at it for two reasons. Naruto deserves an easy time in his life, and as many of you know, I Love Crossovers!
Now similarly to JungleFurious's story, this will be a sorta harem story, with only 3 members. If this is something you do not like, then I apologize for this.
And like his story, it will start after their encounter with Orochimaru and the sound ninja attacking the group. After that though is when the similarities will end.
I reccomend checking JungleFurious. While he hasn't updated his version of Ultra Instinct Naruto in a while, he still has other amazing stories to check out.
Anywho, let's get on with the story!
Naruto was angry and confused. He didn't know whether he should be mad at that weird ninja who attacked his friends, or if he should be mad that Sasuke, with all his take about the sharingan, just stood there scared.
Granted that guy was powerful and somehow had a weird giant snake on his side, but at least he fought him before that sneaky bastard did something to his stomach.
That ninja may have looked like a girl, but he is assuming that it's a guy with how they acted and talk. After Haku, he was sure not making that mistake again.
Once he was sent flying and knocked out, Naruto woke up in a weird sewer like place. He looked around once getting here and saw that he was in some kind of corridor. The reason why that sewer place was so weird to him was because of two things that made it pop out of his mind.
It looked like a regular sewer, except it look like it had been created for giant people.
It shared many characteristics of a regular sewer, but the size of the it was massive. If Naruto had to guess just how big it was, he could only make a guess that it would be as big if not bigger than the Hokage mountain.
The second thing he felt was a sense of restriction. It felt like this place was holding him back slightly. It felt like there were pieces of rope tied around his body that were slightly tugging him back.
Being the curious child that Naruto is, he decided to walk forward into the corridor, to explore what could be here and why he was here.
He would continue to walk for a minute, before reaching the end of the corridor. It would lead to an opening of a giant room. Across the opening, was what seemed like a massive cage.
Naruto stopped in his tracks his eyes widening, as if his body was warning him not to take a step forward or else he might die.
Looking at the cage, Naruto couldnt see what was inside it completely. The area being mostly black, so whatever was in there, was hidden very well.
As he looks closer into the cage, his eyes widen even further than before. He sees movement in the darkness of the cage and the blonde can tell that whatever is in that cage, it was massive.
Suddenly from the darkness, Naruto hears shifting. Whatever it was, it moved closer to the cages bars. While Naruto still couldnt make out what exactly it was, he can see the details of whatever creature this was.
It had long pointy ears, and had what looked to be a massive tail, so whatever it was, it definitely wasnt human.
Behind the bars, an eye suddenly opens up to reveal a pupil with a large red slit. Naruto takes a step back, terrified of just seeing the eye alone.
The eyes looks around the room, as if searching for something, until it sets its sites on Naruto.
The eye stares at the boy, as if examining him. Naruto stays frozen, not sure if he should run for his life, or stay so he might not get hurt.
The eye then closes and Naruto sees the creature shifts its head, slinking back into the darkness. As it moves, it let's out a small gruff, as if disappointed in what he saw.
Naruto felt a little offended by that noise. Before he could shout at the creature though, he feels a warm feeling behind him.
Turning he sees a figure floating behind him wielding a staff.
He couldnt see many details of the figure due to brightness of the light, however he was able to tell a few things. It had a shape of an adult man and it had spiky hair.
The figure turned around and started floating away in the direction Naruto had just come from.
The blonde was left with a choice, either stay in the large room, with a large creature, that sounded a little disrespectful to him, and could potentially kill him. Or follow the floating figure that gave him the first feeling of safety since waking up in this weird place.
Naruto was many things. He was dumb, lonely, determined, strong (in his eyes), clever, and even a ramen lover (which he will defend to his dying breath). But he wasnt suicidal. Quickly he turned around and ran after the figure.
Had he stayed a little longer, he would have seen the giant creature opens its eyes once more, seeing the retreating backsides of both figures.
He then closes them once more "That man shares some wisdom like the old man. Although he's still an idiot."
"Slow Down Will Ya!!" Naruto shouts, but the figure continues to float towards without stop.
The two had been continuing down the same corridor for the last 10 minutes. Naruto was able to catch to the figure, however he wasn't able to touch him.
In fact the figure didnt even respond to him. Ever since their interaction by the giant cage, the figure has shown no reaction to his words. It just simply kept floating in a general direction.
Naruto started getting frustrated "Hello?!?! Are you deaf for something?!?!" He shouted.
Once again, like the last time he shouted at the figure, no responds.
Naruto began to mutter to himself "Jeez this thing is even more stubborn than Shikamaru when it comes to making him actually do something."
In truth Naruto wasnt made because he was getting tired. God knows that he has plenty of stamina, with him outrunning Chunin and the occasional Jonin when it came down to his pranks.
The issue came to the fact that Naruto wasn't getting any answers. Naruto didn't like the fact that secrets were a common thing in his life.
True, being a ninja is all about keeping secrets and what not, but that's not his style. He's a loud shinobi who is clever with tricks. But secrets were all that were involved in his life.
He had the Nine Tailed Fox sealed inside of him, but he only found out because a traitor wanted to kill him. He also doesnt know anything about his parents. No names, no close friends of theirs, nothing. Plus no one besides his academy teacher and the Hokage knew the true nature of how he truly became a genin, with him only passing because Iruka saw what he could truly do.
Needless to say, he was tired of being left in the dark, and he wanted to know where he was now.
Up ahead, the corridor begins to turn left. As the figure makes the turn, Naruto speeds up to catch up to him.
As Naruto goes around the corner, he suddenly stops as the glowing figure had just disappeared. Naruto slows down and walks, looking around to see if he could see him again.
"And he's pulling off disappearing tricks like Kakashi? This sucks!" He yells outloud as if there was someone else with him.
A warm feeling once again comes behind him. Naurto turns to come face to face with the bright being.
Like last time, all Naruto can see due to the brightness of the being is that they look male and that they had spiky hair.
The being takes their staff and point it at Naruto. The blonde takes a instinctive step back, but stops himself. He didnt feel in danger. This felt soothing to him, as he suddenly relax.
The staff, which Naruto noticed had a ball on the top with a weird ring surrounding it, touch Naruto's forehead.
The being moves its head, as if it was speaking.
"Ruoy efil lliw eb dellif htiw spihsdrah. Niap lliw wollof. I lliw ton tel siht neppah. I evig siht tfig ot ouy. Egnach Etaf!" Naruto hears, but could not make out due to not understanding this weird language.
It was the last thing he heard, before a bright white light suddenly comes from the staff and suddenly engulfs his entire vision.
Sakura could only watch in fear at the site in front of her. She was currently injured and on her legs in a W formation. Sure it would hurt anyone, but with what she's dealing with, she had other kind of pain to worry about. Everything went downhill since the start of the second test of the Chunin Exam.
After that weird snake shinobi had attacked her team, she was left the only one standing after the "fight", if she could call it that, both Naruto and Sasuke had been put out of commission.
Naruto suffered some kind of attack to his stomach, making some kind of weird seal, around another seal, which she will have to ask about later. Whatever that snake guy did, he was able to knock Naruto out of the fight, then Sasuke fought back and managed to do some damage.
Or so they thought until that guy appeared out of nowhere and bit Sasuke on the neck, doing something to Sasuke which knocked him out. After that, the ninja left them alone.
After he left, Sakura grabbed both males of her team and brought them to a hiding spot to try and recover from what just happened.
Only to be suddenly attack by another team of shinobis who then attacked her, but was stopped by Rock Lee. Unfortunately that rescue wasn't perfect as while he did fight and keep them away for a bit, he ultimately lost when one of the ninja attacked Lee's senses knocking the teen out.
Inspired by his bravery, Sakura than goes on the offensive, attacking the enemy shinobi, even stabbing one of them in their arms, but was eventually overpowered by them.
Just when she thought it was over, Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino come in to assists and while it looked good at first, even they started to get take down. Ino even changed body's with the female member of the enemy group, hoping to use this as leverage to back off.
Whoever taught them must have been cruel as they showed no hesitation in attacking her, not only hurting their teammate's, but also hurting Ino's body in the process.
Their last opportunity to turn this tide around was quickly snatched away with by these ninjas.
One of them, who was wearing bandages that covered most of his face, spoke "So this is the best that the leaf has to offer. Such pathetic ninjas here. Most of you are out for the count and the only one that proved to be some kind of challenge is currently knocked out over there." he jerks his thumb over to an unconscious Lee.
Sakura grits her teeth in anger. Sure, he was weird when they first met earlier on, but Lee risked his life to protect her when he didnt need to. That earned some respect points from her.
He then shrugs disappointedly "Enough of this though, it's time to be rid of all of you..."
He then starts running towards Sakura, his arm, which had some sort of contraption on it, thrusted forward to grab her face.
"STARTING WITH YOU!!!!"
Sakura clenches her eyes in fear, trying to brace herself to whatever pain awaited her. Choji rolls into a ball and tries to reach Sakura in time, but Shikamaru knew that he wasn't going to make it.
"Damn it! Even with Choji's speed in that form, he won't make it in time!"
Everything slows down for everyone. The enemy shinobi waiting for the first death of this battle, Choji trying desperately to reach and save Sakura, and Shikamaru and Ino watching as Choji tries to reach their old classmate.
Suddenly a large beam of white light shines from where Naruto and Sasuke were laying.
The force of it pushes everyone back slightly, pushing the ninja away from Sakura, forcing Choji out of his ball form and making him roll to Shikamaru and Ino's uninhabited body, it forces the other enemy ninja and Ino, who is in the enemy female's body, to cover their eyes due to how bright it was, and it forced Sakura onto her stomach as the force surprised her.
Shikamaru, using his arm to cover his eyes, looks at the bright light and sees that not only is it coming from where Naruto and Sasuke where, but the light beam was going towards the sky, effectively making a beacon for anyone that sees it.
Neji and Tenten continue to leap towards the direction where Neji had seen mutiple chakra signatures meet up. Using his Byakugan, Neji was able to make out that one of those Chakra signatures was Lee.
Despite Lee's inability to use ninjutsu, he still had a chakra signature. With how often both have sparred with each other, Neji can tell Lee's signature like the back of his hand.
As the two continued, they are suddenly blinded by a bright beam of light shooting into the sky. Because Neji had his Byakugan activated, he quickly had to shut it off as the beam and the source of it was too painful for him to try to look at it.
Tenten covered her eyes "Damn! That's too bright!"
Neji can only grunt in agreement to her statement, although both silently agreed of one thing.
If they weren't sure if Lee was there before, they were definitely sure now.
"Damn, what is this feeling?!" Kiba states out loud, looking in the direction of the beam of light. With him being an Inuzuka, this gave him enhanced senses than your average person and a sorta sixth sense when fighting opponents.
Right now that sixth sense was blaring off warning signs all his body.
His other two teammates, Hinata and Shino watch the light in awe and in curiosity as to what could create such a light source.
Shino could feel his bugs react to the presence of it "My bugs are terrified of that light. What could be the cause of it?"
He then turns to Hinata "Can you use to Byakugan to see what is going on?"
Hinata turns to him and responds in a low tone "I'll try, but it's far, so I may not have luck."
The girl then brings her hand to her face, while having both her index and middle finger extended.
"Byakugan!" She states outloud, activating her bloodline ability.
Not even a second later, she covers her eyes and yelps in pain as she deactivates her ability.
Kiba rushes next to her "Hinata! Are you ok?"
The girls rubs her eyes "I'm fine, but that light is too bright for me to see."
Shino walks over to the pair "I apologize for what happened. That was not my intention for you when I asked for your sight."
Hinata slightly blushes in embarrassment, being the shy girl that she is "N...No it's fine, you had a go...good idea." she stutters out.
Inside Kiba's shirt, a small white pup comes out and whimpers.
The dog man than pets his companion "Its ok boy. We're going to avoid that as much as possible."
The trio look back at the beam of light as they notice it slowly get smaller.
"Just what the hell is going on in this place?" Kiba thinks to himself.
Gaara watches the beam of light as he uses his sand to crush an opponent to death. The blood oozing down the side of the grains of sand.
His eyes focus as the beam continues to shine brightly.
His brother and sister suddenly appear behind them.
"That's the last of them. Good work Gaara." the girl spoke, but the redhead didn't respond.
The girl let out a disappointed sigh. She loved her brother, but she can be terrified of him. She wanted her baby brother back, when he was happy and joyful, despite the hate he had recieved. She is willing to do anything to get more happy memories with him.
The brother spoke "I think he's focus on that light Temari. Jeez that thing is bright though. Wonder what's causing it."
The girl, now known as Temari, look at her brother and let out a small teasing smirk "In your eyes, anything can be bright Kankuro, since you're not exactly the smartest tool in the shop."
The boy known as Kankuro blushed hard and yell at his sister "What was that?!?! Do you want me to beat you up?!?!"
Temari laughs "Please, like you could do anything. If anything it would be like the time I caught you using my makeup."
"I needed it for my War Paint!"
"There's no shame in admitting you into crossdressing. I always wanted a little sister."
"Why I Outta-"
The small redhead speaks "Quiet, or the both of you will die."
This quiet up the bickering siblings as they were afraid that their brother would make true on that threat. With how brutal he is on mission, they did not want to cross the line of no return.
Gaara continues to watch the light as it begins to die down, as it was not a high in the sky as it used to be.
Even with it gone though, Gaara got an itch that needed to be scratch.
"Soon mother...you will get all the blood you want."
As Sakura sees the light slowly dim out completely, she uncovers her eyes and sees the source of it.
Standing there was Naruto looking down at Sasuke, only something was different.
Around the blonde's body, was an flame like aura that was blueish white. His hair was gently flowing as the aura moved around him. His jack was on the floor, where the zipper area was busted open, most likely due to the force of the light, revealing a regular black shirt underneath his jacket.
Sakura felt tears of happiness slide down her face "N...Naruto." she mutters out, as if scared that she was seeing things. Naruto kneels down next to Sasuke and looks at his body.
He turns his head seeing some kind of mark on his neck. After a minute Naruto stands back up.
Sakura, happy to see her teammate awake, yells at him "Naruto! You're okay!!"
She needed to hear his loud voice shouting how he was always ok or how he wasnt going down without a fight or even just to say something stupid like normal.
Naruto doesnt respond though. No sound was made, but hearing Sakura, the blond turns to the pink haired girl and walks towards her.
Sakura slowly rises to sit, but was nervous due to how Naruto was acting.
The blonde was Never silent.
"N...Naruto?" She asks worryingly as he blonde got closer. No response still. Sakura got even more worried when the blonde reached her, he squated down to her level.
The others looking on didnt know what to make of this.
The enemy shinobi had their orders, which was to target the Uchiha, they knew nothing of the blonde boy or what that light was all about.
Shikamaru was probably the most surprised. In all of his years of knowing the blonde, he did not know him to ever be quiet, look serious unless he was upset, or even be calm in an awkward situation, let alone a deadly situation like now.
Ino, still in the enemy's body couldn't recognize him. With the family she came from, she knew some basics about being a sensory ninja, this was natural for her to learn. Yet despite the years of Naruto being the dead last in school, the idiot prankster, or the troublemaker, she never knew that he would be capable of producing this feeling from her sensory abilities.
A feeling of warmth and power.
Quickly Ino ended her mind transfer justu and returned to her original body, which was next to Shikamaru.
The smart child looked at her "Ino. You're back."
Ino slowly readjusted herself after being in another person body as she slowly sat up "Yeah, something told me that whatever happened to Naruto, I did not want to be on the receiving end of it."
Shikamaru only nodded as he look over to Choji who, just like everyone else, was also surprised of the latest development.
Choji, like Shikamaru, had known Naruto for a long time, so to see him in this state was different.
Naruto continued to stare at Sakura, but not at her features, but instead her injuries. The girl had bruises, scratches, and cuts all over her body, and even noticed that her hair was shorter, as if someone forcefully cut off a large part of it.
As the blonde was looking over her, Sakura noticed two more details about her teammate. His eyes. Gone was the bright blue, and in its place was a sparkling silver. Another thing she noticed was that his pupils were no longer an innocent round shape. They had become slits, similar to when he fought that snake guy earlier, only they felt calmer.
Sakura didn't know why, but looking into his eyes, she felt safe.
Naruto stand up after looking her over, taking Sakura out of her thoughts. Sakura then noticed his hands. They were clenching very tightly.
The blonde turns to Lee and sees the boy's condition. His fist clenches harder.
He then turns to Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji. He sees that two of his oldest friends were bruised and scratched up. He then notices the blood trail leaving Ino's lip.
His fist clenches hard enough to where blood begins to leak from in between the gaps of his fingers.
Sakura sees this "Naruto..." She thinks to herself, wanting to comfort the boy, tell him that they'll be fine, but knowing now isnt the best time.
Naruto then turns to the enemy shinobi.
He notices the girl in the group looking groggy, and confused. She notices the surroundings and wipes some blood from her lip "Did you assholes hit me?"
One of them, wearing some kind of helmet, responds "Relax Kin. We had to call their bluff after you got yourself stuck in your own body."
Kin snarls "Doesn't mean you try to kill me Zaku!"
The one with bandages over his face yells at the two "Enough Both Of You! We have bigger fish to fry."
Unknown to everyone, Neji and Tenten arrive at the scene.
Tenten surveys the scenario until her eyes land on Lee's body "There he is!" She whispers loudly to Neji.
Before she can jump in, she is stop by Neji's hand. She wanted to protest by is interrupted when Neji speaks "Take a look at the blonde."
She turns to see just how different Naruto looks, both teens surprised that he had this kind of power in him.
The two watch silently as the enemy shinobi argue with each other.
"Come on Dosu, look at what they threw at us and we're still standing all right. Sure they got a few lucky hits in, but against us sound ninja, they dont stand a chance." Zaku speaks arrogantly.
Naruto closes his eyes and relaxes his hand. Everyone stares in silent as they wait for Naruto's move.
The blonde then begins to walk to the sound ninja, his eyes still close.
Sakura watches in shock. Why was he just going in there without a plan?
Zaku laughs "See! This one is suicidal!"
Dosu narrows his eyes "Something isn't right. No one causes a light show that large and bright without some kind of trick."
Zaku rolls his eyes "Whatever Dosu! Let me show you why we are the best ninja in this damn exam."
Kin looks at Zaku "Don't just rush in you idiot. Dosu is in charge, as much as I disagree. If he sees something you don't, then just stay put!"
Zaku growls at them "You two are just cowards, let me show you there is nothing to be afraid of."
He then reaches into his pouch and pulls out 4 Kunai. Quickly scanning to see where to aim, Zaku then throws the Kunais in 4 different spots and using the tubes in his arms, he quickly uses compressed air to push the Kunai with more force, making them faster.
"This will end it. With how the Kunai are thrown at that speed, he does not have the speed to think of a plan to dodge. Combine with the air force from my enhancements, I've limited his movement. If he dodges to the left he gets hit, the same if he goes right. If he tries to duck, he'll get hit, same if he jumps! We win!" Zaku mentally glees to himself.
Naruto stands there as the Kunai get closer and closer.
Sakura eyes widen in fear "NARUTO!!"
The blond jumps in the air and smacks the Kunai into the ground. Quickly he lands on the second one stopping that one. He then reaches his hand out and grabs the two kunais flying in his left and right side.
Grabbing them by the blade, he then proceeds to crush the weapons, shattering the metal as if it was glass.
Zaku eyes widen in shock.
His plan was completely thwarted in less than 10 seconds by a guy, who still had his eyes close!
While Kin laughs to herself, Dosu eyes Zaku, who was shaking in rage "This is why you listen to my orders."
Zaku turns his head back in anger "Oh Shut It! He just got lucky that's all!"
He then turns back to the blonde "I'll simply get him when he isn't read-"
His sentence was never finished as suddenly a hand gripped Zaku's face. Quickly following the hand, he notices that Naruto was the one that grabbed him, his eyes still closed while doing this.
Zaku is then lifted off the ground, before being slammed into the ground with so much forces, the ground beneath it cracks.
As Naruto let's go, Zaku's face shows his eyes being completely white, an indication that he was not going to get up for a while.
Quickly Dosu and Kin jump in the air
"Kin start throwing your sebons, I'll hit him with my glo-" Dosu began to order, but couldn't finish as Naruto in a flash of silver, appears behind him and kicks him towards Kin. Not being to dodge, Kin is sent to the ground by an upcoming Dosu, they crash into the ground causing a small smoke screen.
The rest of the Konoha 9 couldn't believe what they were witnessing. Here was Naruto, who was the dead last in class not that long ago, beating up 3 shinobi who gave them all trouble like it was nothing.
Sakura's worried feeling disappeared when he dodge Zaku's attack with his eyes close. One would assume this was him trying to show off, but the look that she saw in his eyes told her that what was going on was not that at all.
As Naruto lands, he is suddenly bombarded with dozens of sebon needles, which he responds by simply dodging them all.
Kin runs out of the smoke throwing mutiple throwing weapons at the blonde. However Naruto's speed was making it hard for her to land a single hit.
Taking a Kunai, she decided to fight up close.
Quickly jumping in the air, she tries to land a flying roundhouse on Naruto. The blonde ducks underneath the attack, making Kin miss and giving him an opening.
He raises his fist up, landing an uppercut on the girl, sending her back.
She lands on her back, she uses the momentum to rotate herself up right, and rushes him Kunai in hand.
She starts swinging at Naruto, aiming for his neck first which he moves to dodge effortlessly. She then aims for his chest, which he dodges once again, and she aims diagonally, which Naruto dodges once again.
Kin starts to lose her temper, due to the blonde's speed and the fact that his eyes were still close. She starts swinging wildly, trying to land a single hit on Naruto.
"Just Die Already You Stupid Bastard!" She snarls in anger, as she aims at his ribs
The blonde deflects a swing for his side, causing her to drop her weapon. Before she could dodge, Naruto aims a palm strike into the girl's stomach, sending her flying into a tree, making Kin get embedded into it.
Neji stares in shock, even with his Byakugan actived, it still didnt make sense to him. His Chakra coils were different. Normally a regular person's coils would be blue, but looking at the blonde's, not only were they white, but it was moving as if it was alive.
The group watches in amazement, that Naruto was taking the sound shinobi down like it was child's play. Unbeknownst to them, Sasuke's body begins to leak purple smoke.
Naruto then quickly ducks as Dosu appears from behind him. Dosu smirks as he watches his chakra enhanced sounds go straight for Naruto's body, but before they could reach him, Naruto dodges away by jumping away from Dosu.
Naruto flips his body over landing so he faces Dosu.
Sakura looks confused for a moment "Why did Naruto move like that. He wasn't being attack?"
She thinks for a moment until suddenly she remember what happened to Lee.
"That guy was able to attack Lee's senses using the sound emanating from his glove whether or not it made contact. Did Naruto know where it was coming from? Naruto what happened to you?"
The bandaged man looks in shock "Normally only I can see and control where the sound is going. Yet he was able to dodge it. His movements also seem weird."
He recalls to how he was dodging Zaku's and Kin's attacks earlier.
"It's like he knows how and where to dodge before any of us do. He's reading us like a book!"
Dosu then pulls out a small knife "Ok tough guy, you wanna run all day long. THEN RUN FROM THIS!!!" Activating his gauntlet, he runs the blade near the holes of it, causing a large chakra trail of sound to come out and go after Naruto.
The blonde jump, as the sound follows him. He lands on a tree and bounces off it, the sound continuing to follow him. He lands on another tree and continues to bounce of them with the continuing to follow him.
Dosu growls "Is he seeing my attacks? No, his eyes are closed, meaning that he has to be sensing it, but it doesn't make sense. How can his body react to something it can't see with those kind of movements?!?!"
Naruto leaps off one tree and lands on the ground, sliding across it as he once again positions himself in front of Dosu. The chakra enhanced sound still following him.
Putting energy into his fist, Naruto, for the first time since this battle begun, opens his eyes and punches forward, causing a force of compress air to not only force the sound backwards, but also the force hitting Dosu, hitting him with his own attack and Naruto's.
Dosu is sent flying, his body slowly turning so his front side is aimed at a tree. However before he could regain his bearing, Naruto appears behind him. Dosu only has enough time to make eye contact with Naruto and realizes a startling conclusion.
Naruto jumps at the sound ninja, leg pulled back, and collides his knee into Dosu chest, sending both of them right back to where Naruto was before. Naruto releases his knee, still making Dosu move across the ground causing the ninja to slide across the floor in defeat, not making him completely uncouncious, but weak enough to not cause anymore issues.
In less than 3 minutes, Naruto had defeated the group of shinobi that had given his group of friends trouble. He stared down at the defeated bodys of the opposing team, before walking back to Sakura.
Ino was the first to react to his win "Way A Go Naruto!" she shouted happily.
She will not lie, with how Naruto had bested the sound ninja, she couldn't help but be joyful with how quickly he overpowered and humiliated them.
Shikamaru and Choji let out a shocked chuckle. They was happy that Naruto had come in to help out. While unexpected, they were happy to see just how strong he gotten.
Sakura let out tears, both of joy and sadness. Joy because Naruto was ok and better than ever. Sadness because despite all she tried, she couldnt be the one to protect them. It was once again Naruto or Sasuke that had to save the day.
Nonetheless, she was happy that he was ok.
Naruto suddenly stops, his vision focused on what was behind Sakura. Ino freezes in place as well, feeling such malicious chakra near Sakura. Ino looks in the same direction that Naruto was look and saw the same thing. Everyone turn to see Sasuke was back up, only something with different.
Sasuke was surrounded by a purple aura, his body covered in glowing reddish orange. Both of his eyes having the sharingan activated.
Sasuke looks down at a injured Sakura "Sakura tell me...who did this?"
The pink haired girl should feel glad that Sasuke had gotten back up. That her teammates were finally awake but something was off.
The way Sasuke looked, the way he spoke. It scared her. She got up quickly. "Sasuke you're awake! You don't...don't need to worry, Naruto took care of it." She tried to reason with him.
The Uchiha looked around the battle scene. The bodies of Lee on the floor unconscious, He then notices that Shikamaru's team was also here, but also beaten and bruised. His eyes land on the bodies of the sound ninja, noticing that Dosu was moving, but from what his Sharingan can tell, he is no longer a threat. He looks at the other two and notices that they're still alive. That'll have to change.
His eyes then land in Naruto, seeing just how different the idiot that he has spend months with looked. The series look in his eyes, the calm demeanor on his face, and the fact that he didn't look ready to brag.
Something had definitely happened while he was unconscious.
"I see you also awakened something moron. And it looks like you had all the fun." Sasuke tells his teammate, who was still silent throughout this entire exchange.
Sasuke then begins to walk towards the body of Zaku "Now if you don't mind, I'm going to finish the job."
Ino didn't like the sound of that "Sasuke wait! It's done, Naruto already beat them, you dont need to do this!"
The black haired boy turned to her "This is the chunin exams, we all knew what we signed up for when we started it. Besides these guy could attack again when we least expect it. Plus..."
Sasuke let's out a malicious smirk "...it's only fair that I also test out my power as well."
Ino feels a chill go down her spine. This was not the Sasuke she knew. That smile was from someone that was evil and twisted. Where was the Sasuke from the academy? The quiet brooding boy, not this sick monster.
Sasuke turns back to Zaku's body. He takes a step forward, however in a silver flash, faster than anyone else can see, Naruto appeared in front of him, slightly to right.
Sasuke stops "Dobe, you really don't want to test me right now. Get out of the way."
Naruto doesn't reply. Sasuke tries to take another step, when Naruto hand suddenly appears on Sasuke's chest.
"You only get one more chance Naruto. Get. Out. Of. My.Way." Sasuke growls out.
As if to test his temper, Naruto puts a little force into his arm, and pushes Sasuke back, making him take a step backwards.
The tension in the air grows thicker. The teens surprised by not only Sasuke's new attitude, but also Naruto's stubbornness to Sasuke's goal.
Sakura watches in nervousness. They had just survived an attack from enemy shinobi. They shouldnt be arguing at a moment like this.
Her eyes widen further as she sees Sasuke reach in his pouch and pulls out a shuriken.
"Fine, have it your way." Sasuke says as he slightly turns. Then he suddenly turns right back and throws his shuriken, aimed at Zaku's unconscious body.
Before it could hit, in another flash of silver, Naruto appears deflecting it to a random branch, which landed near to where Neji and Tenten were observing. However it was as Sasuke predicted he would do, as he goes straight at him, aiming a punch to his face.
Naruto dodges to left, making Sasuke close in again to aim a kick at his chest, causing the blond to do a backflip back, forcing Sasuke to chase after him.
Naruto stops and stays in place as he continuously dodges Sasuke's attacks.
"It's not just he speed that has increased. His reaction time has also improved dramatically." Sasuke thinks as Naruto dodges a uppercut from him.
Sasuke smirks "All I see is that you've gotten quicker, but you're still costantly dodging. What wrong? Too scared to land a hit on me?!?!"
Naruto stays silent, but Sasuke notices his gaze harden.
Sasuke jumps and aims a flying axe at Naruto's shoulder. Unfortunately for him, the blonde counters this by grabbing back of his ankle and calf.
Naruto proceeds to spin Sasuke until he is thrown into a large tree.
The Uchiha twist his body so he was facing Naruto. He then proceeds to do a series of hand signs.
Sakura notices the hands signs and while some of it is different, he knows what kind of jutsu was making "Sasuke Stop! You're taking it too far."
Her pleas fall on deaf ears as Sasuke finishes the signs.
"Fire Style: Phoenix Fire Jutsu!"
Sasuke proceeds to shoot out 4 balls of flame as they all aim for Naruto. Seeing this the blonde jumps towards the attack bringing his fist back.
Naruto grits his teeth as he let's out a roar "GROAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" He yells.
Anyone around could tell that this wasn't a normal tell. It sounded demonic and deep. They could hear Naruto's voice in it. but it was being overlapped by another voice, one that they didn't recognize.
The blonde extend his fist forward, his fast colliding with Sasuke's justu, only for Naruto to completely overwhelm it and go straight through. Sasuke eyes widen in shock as Naruto fist connects to Sasuke jaw, sending him flying faster than he already was to the tree.
Sasuke crashes into the tree, nearly breaking the trunk of it, but it holds, still intact. Sasuke slides down the side, before landing on one of his knees.
He looks up at Naruto who landed with his fist still extending, smoke coming off of his body. Sasuke rubs his jaw as he watches Naruto lower his fist.
"Weird, that punch just now. Everything of his skills and abilities have been amplified, his speed, strength, and reflexes. Yet despite that, his punch just now, was not as strong as it should be if his dodging is anything to go on. It can only mean one thing."
Sasuke stands smirking "I'll admit Dobe, this power you have definitely rivals my speed. Hell you probably exceeded me by a good bit. However your attack just now..."
The marks on his body grow a bit as they nearly cover his entire skin "...was weaker than it should be. If I had to guess, that state of yours enhances your entire body, but from what it seems, your strength was not as nearly as enhanced as your reflexes."
Sasuke cracks his neck "I'll admit, you win this first bout. Let's commence with round 2!"
Ino pays close attention to Naruto, that steam that coming off his body, something didn't feel right to her. She turns to Shikamaru "Hey, is it me or is Naruto..."
Shikamaru answers her "No, you're right. Naruto's body is letting off a lot of steam. If it was from Sasuke attack, it should only be on his hand. This is something else."
Their fears are confirm when for a split second that only they and Sasuke notice, the blue aura around him disappears and his eyes return to normal.
Sakura runs up to Sasuke, blocking him "Stop It! Sasuke it's ok now. It's over. The threat is gone. You don't need to kill them."
She then hugs him "Please don't fight Naruto anymore. It's done."
Naruto watches the scene, still tense in case his teammate tried something.
He feels a hand in his shoulder as he turns and looks to see Shikamaru and his team behind him "You can relax now Naruto. It's ok."
Suddenly he is hugged from behind by Ino, which causes his eyes to soften, the few times that he has shown emotion since awakening this power.
"You saved us Naruto, you don't need to fight anymore. Just calm down for us please." She whispers hugging him tighter.
Naruto and Sasuke stay frozen as they are both hugged.
Sasuke is the first to respond as he sighs "Fine. You win Sakura."
Slowly the marks disappear off of Sasuke body as they are seen retracting into the mark on his neck. He then winces in pain, as he grabs his neck.
Sakura gently sets him down onto the floor, his back leaning against the tree trunk.
A noise alerts everyone as they see Neji and Tenten appear next to Lee's body. Naruto tenses up as gently moves out of Ino's hug.
Neji notices this and puts his hand up as he gestures to Lee "Relax. We're this idiot's teammates. He ran earlier and we were looking for him."
He points at Naruto "Your little light show helped us guess where he was and we were right."
Another noise grabs everyone's attention as they turn to see Dosu grab Zaku's hand, with Kin's body being put over his shoulder.
"We know when we've been outmatched, as a sign of defeat, we give you this." He drops an earth scroll to a ground.
Lifting Zaku's body, Dosu speaks "We will retreat, but just know that this will not be the last you see of us. Rest assure, we will come back to finish the job." He then glares at Naruto.
"And for payback." Dosu finishes, as he disappears along with his teammates.
Everyone but Neji stays a little tense. After a minute, Neji speaks "They're actually gone. You can all relax."
Naruto relaxes as he looks around for something. He then sees his jacket as he begins to walk towards it.
As he reaches it, he kneels down and grabs it.
Sakura notices how Naruto is acting "He...Hey Naruto. Are you Ok?" she asks her teammate.
Naruto stays quiet as the blue aura around his body dissipates and his eyes return to their normal blue color.
"...M...my...jack...jacket." Naruto mutters before falling forward, the last thing he hears was someone calling out for his name as he loses consciousness.
Ok that's was a fun to write a bit. Considering my knowledge of DBZ lore, it made writing about something that I knew more about much for comforting.
