Lines of code scrolled quickly down multiple screens—too quickly for most mechs to be able to read. Tarantulas, of course, caught all of it. It helps to have several optics and a lightning-quick processor.
He could hear Blackarachnia poking around in the lab behind him. He tensed a little—that was her operating code on the screen, after all, and she, out of all the others, might have been able to notice.
Finally she left, miffed that he was ignoring her. Tarantulas shook his head in disgust. "Free will should have been the first thing I got rid of."
