The chamber was dark and eerie, as I looked around the atmosphere seemed to slip away. Nothing stirred, for a second I thought maybe I wasn't in GLaDOS's chamber after all. Suddenly I saw her massive optic gleam that canary yellow that let me know I wasn't mistaken about my where abouts. I was waiting until she started spewing insults at me but her head just hung motionless and quiet. My mind started wondering in a million different directions, I contemplated whether or not she was going to kill me right there after all this time, or if I was actually going to get that cake I was promised long ago. That last part about the cake I knew was a long shot. Not even joking she had promised me cake from day one and it never came. Just fat jokes about how I don't need the extra calories anyway. It was just another one of GLaDOS's tall tails. God I hated that compulsive liar of a robot. It was then she broke the silence.
