There had been smirks and sly glances in the blond's direction when Toki turned up with his date for the awards ceremony. There was no doubt about it, the young woman bore a striking resemblance to the Swedish guitarist.
Skwissgaar gritted his teeth and ignored the playful teasing, he refused to rise to the bait. He feared if he did, it would show just how hurt he was by Toki's choice of girlfriend.
He felt as if he had been replaced, that he was somehow not good enough. He had spent many a night warring with himself since the awards ceramony. He was the fastest guitarist in the world, he could have anyone he wanted and anyone would be honoured to be with him! The thing that hurt the most was that it was obvious to everyone that Toki wanted to be with Skwisgaar.
Everyone, it seemed, but Toki.
