"Hello Vinny what's up?" I said as nick continued to stare at me

"Umm tell nick there out of orange sherbert "said Vinny

"Alright is that it?"

"Yeah and … I love you bye." he hung up before I could reply to what he had just said. Did he mean it in a friend's way or did he really love me.

"What's up Bethany" nick asked me causing me to lose my train of thought

"Oh umm there out of sherbert so he's getting u vanilla"

"Oh can I talk to you about something?" oh god here it comes. I nodded my head yes."I like you a lot and want to be more friends" before I could answer he kissed me. It sent electric shocks through me so I leaned in and kissed him. Longer this time we were interrupted because Vinny was back with the ice cream.

"I'm back sorry I…" said Vinny he dropped the ice cream and had a betrayed look on his face

"Vinny it's not what you think" I cried

"Really it's not what I think. I think I told you I loved you because I truly do. Then you go and make out with Nick! I thought u might have loved me back but I guess not. You could have just told me you didn't love me. You didn't have to rub it in my face!"

"Vinny please don't hate me I…I... I love you too!"

"You must be talking to nick because that's who you kissed." Then Vinny walked away I start breaking into tears I look over at nick he's standing up now not even looking at me

"Nick… I'm sorry"

"I can't believe I just humiliated myself and told you I wanted to be more than friends your just a whore"

"How am I whore that doesn't even make sense…?

"Okay your right it doesn't make sense but if you love Vinny then why did you kiss me?"

"I don't love him like that I was gonna say I love him as a friend"

"Aw come on Beth you have to tell him this stuff you know he's sensitive. He's probably crying into his nuetella right now!"

"Your right I need to call him I will later. So are we ok now?"

"Yeah, I'm sorry I got mad. How bout I make it up to you tomorrow and we go on a… well... you know…a date."

"Ok see you tomorrow." Then he leaves and I go home to call Emily to tell her about my date.
