Charlotte eats dinner with Violet and Pete. "We should talk about how long you plan on staying here." Violet eats her meatballs.
"I don't know if we'll have enough rooms for the twins." Pete jokes.
"I'll find my own place before then." Charlotte tells him.
"You're welcome to stay here as long as you like Charlotte but you need to give Cooper a break. He didn't do any of this on purpose."
"I can't deal with him right now."
"He's going to talk to Jen about setting up a visitation schedule. He'll have set days to see Ethan so he's not canceling with you."
"So, Ethan will have him most of the week and what will I get? Two days a week to spend with my husband?"
"No. You should discuss it with him and tell him how many days you think is fair. But it's hard to do if you're not speaking. Now he's going to have to work it out with Jen."
Charlotte throws her napkin down. "One weekend a month is all I'm willing to compromise. That's enough."
"Maybe that will be okay with Cooper. But you need to talk to him first."
Cooper decided to stay for dinner at Jen and Ethan's apartment. Ethan runs back in the door. "Sean's mom said he could stay here for dinner and then we go back to her house for a sleepover. Is that okay, mom?"
"Fine with me. Dinner's ready." Jen scoops the hot dogs onto the buns.
"They're not the big wieners you get at the ball park, but those are too expensive for us." Jen tells Cooper.
Cooper takes the hot dog. "This is fine." She hands him another beer to wash down his hot dog with. "What have you two boys been up to?" Cooper asks Ethan.
"Just playing with our DS's. Sean's going to show me how to beat the next level of Zelda at his house later."
"I can probably show you. I'm a pro at video games."
"Did you beat the last level of Zelda the Street Warrior yet?"
Cooper furrows his brow. "I never played that one."
"Seans' older brother finished the game and he has cheats to show us how to beat the levels."
"What fun is it if you cheat?" Cooper asks.
Jen laughs. "They wouldn't get anywhere without cheating. They're only seven and Zelda is meant for ten and up."
"Maybe he shouldn't be playing it then." Cooper suggests.
"We can play it good." Ethan tells Cooper. "We're good at it."
"How many hours a day is he playing these video games?" Cooper asks Jen.
"I haven't counted, besides they're playing games meant for older kids; it's got to be stimulating their brains." Jen tells Cooper, handing him another beer.
"He should only be playing video games an hour a day, the max." Cooper tells her.
"I'm full. Let's go to your house now, Sean." Ethan tells his friend.
"You only took two bites of your hot dog." Cooper looks at the kids' plates.
"I'm full." Ethan gets up from the table. "Me too." His friend Sean says "By mom." Ethan yells as he runs out the door.
"Bye, Eth. Have fun."
"You do know he's wasting his mind playing those video games all day?" Cooper tells Jen.
"Come on, his friends are all playing them too."
"It doesn't make it right." Cooper sips his beer.
"Please don't tell me how to raise my son. I've been doing fine on my own for the past seven years."
"You're doing fine with him, but he could be doing even better if he was reading books instead of playing video games." Cooper finishes the beer.
"Let's drop this conversation. I don't appreciate you telling me how to raise my son, you've known us about a month."
"Fine, we'll drop it. What do you want to talk about?"
"You want to play Wii fit with me. The golf game is really fun. I never get to play it with other adults."
"I'll play golf." They move into the living room and set up the game.
"Do you want a drink?" Jen asks.
"I'll take another beer."
"I'm having a white Russian, it's my favorite drink. Do you want one?"
"Why not?" Jen hands Cooper the drink she already had mixed up.
"This is really good." He takes a gulp.
"I used to bar tend but the late hours didn't work out with being a single mom, I had to give it up."
"Really? You were a bartender?" Cooper laughs.
"What's so funny about that?" They start playing the video golf game.
"You're not the bartending type."
"What's the bartending type look like?" Jen swings her remote like a golf club. "Score, I got a hole in one. Beat that."
Cooper swings and misses. "Bartenders are big. You're a little, tiny woman." Cooper teases her.
"Are you kidding me? I could drink you under the table any day."
Cooper laughs. "I doubt that. I'm twice your size. I'd have to drink twice as much alcohol than you to have the same effect."
"First of all, you're not twice the size of me. And second of all, you don't know me and what I'm capable of."
Cooper laughs. "Yeah, alright."
"You don't believe me? I'll make you a bet."
"What's the bet?" Cooper asks.
"I'll give you my tips from work today if you win, and if I win you owe me one hundred bucks, the amount I made in tips."
"I'm not going to take money from my son's mother."
"Okay then, "Jen thinks. "Whoever loses has to take Ethan to his dentist appointment this week."
"What's so bad about that?" Cooper grins.
"Ethan hates going to the dentist. He nearly bit the last guy's finger off. The dentist yelled at me for not warning him my kid bites and told us to never come back."
Cooper laughs.
"I found a new dentist but I'm dreading this appointment."
Cooper laughs more, finishing his white Russian.
"So, is it a deal?"
"I don't think it's good idea." Cooper takes his turn playing video golf.
"What are you afraid of? Losing or taking Ethan to the dentist?"
"Neither." Cooper swings his remote again.
"Then should we start with something light or go right to the hard stuff?" She opens up a cabinet revealing dozens of liquor bottles.
"Wow!" Cooper exclaims. "You got some good stuff here." He looks through her liquor cabinet.
"Only the best. I told you I used to be a bartender."
"Mix me up whatever you want to drink." Cooper tells her. He sits back on the couch. "It's your turn."
"Take my turn for me. I'm mixing the drinks here." Jen calls out as she mixes up their drinks.
Cooper shoots. "Hole in one."
"Thanks for shooting it in my hole." Jen laughs and hands him the glass.
"Oooh! That sounds dirty." Copper takes the drink from her hand.
"Heads up!" She says and they both drink up.
Cooper makes a sour face."What's in this stuff?"
"A little bit of everything. I wanted to see if you could could get it down. Congratulations, you passed the test."
"That was nasty." Cooper wipes his mouth. "Mix me up something that at least tastes good."
She mixes some vodka and orange juice and they drink up. "I didn't say to mix me a chick's drink."
"Fine, you mix up the next drink then." Cooper makes them martini's and they drink up.
"Not a bad martini, nice and strong the way I like it." Jen says. "Do you feel like you can handle some shots of tequila?"
"I can handle anything you throw at me." Cooper flops down on the couch.
"Just checking because you're starting to slur a little and your eyes have that spacey drunk look."
"I'm not drunk!" Cooper announces, as she pours the shot glasses. She pours double the amount in his shot glasses than hers. She wants to win this competition.
She hands him two shot glasses. "We're doing two at a time. Can you handle it?"
"Watch me, woman." Cooper downs the shots not realizing Jen barely poured any in her shot glasses.
"Let's do that again." Jen pours more tequila, doing it the same way. Pouring barely any in her glass but filling Cooper's up. Cooper does the shots and then falls back on the couch.
"I win." Jen raises her fist in the air.
"Did not." Cooper slurs. "We're not done."
"You're sprawled out on my couch. We're done."
"One more set of shots. I'm not stopping until you're sprawled out too. No little woman is beating me." Cooper slurs.
"You got it, big man." Jen does the same thing again, filling up Cooper's shot glass and barely filling hers. He doesn't notice. He just drinks. Erica lies down on the couch next to him, pretending she's had too much to drink so he won't want to keep this up. "Happy? I'm sprawled out on the couch now too."
"But, I won." Cooper says.
"No, I won." Jen says. "You were the first one to drop down."
"Let's compromise and call it a tie." Cooper suggests.
"We can call it a tie if you want but you have to take Ethan to the dentist."
"I will." Cooper slurs. "I don't mind, he's my kid." Cooper lifts her chin so she's looking at him. "I didn't properly thank you for giving me a son. It's always been my dream and I want to thank you." He slurs.
Jen responds. "I don't regret having sex with you. You gave me Ethan, the best present I could ever ask for."
"You're welcome," he tells before leaning in, kissing her on the lips. Their lips part and their tongues find each other. She lets her hand wander down his body. "Hmmm..well, what do ya know."
"What?"
"I didn't know you were hiding a great big weenie in your pants." She opens the button of his jeans and unzips them.
"You didn't ask." He smiles.
Jen pushes Cooper's pants down "My bad. How could I forget this monster sized weenie? It gave me Ethan." She massages him below the waste.
"I wish I could remember that night and you." Cooper moans at her touch.
Jen pulls off her shirt and bra. "Does this jog your memory?" She has a tattoo of a rose on her breast.
"It actually does. I remember that flower."
"How about this?" She pulls down her panties to reveal a tattoo of a garden of flowers and grass, above her pubic bone. "I remember you now, the pretty girl with the rose garden in her pants" Cooper smiles. "We had amazing sex when we made Ethan."
"Who knew we were creating a new life that night." She licks his lips and massages his privates. "Can you do that thing you did with your tongue to me again?" Cooper smiles and nods. He licks her body all the way down until he reaches her garden tattoo. He licks and sucks until she's moaning. Her body convulses in pleasure and then goes limp. After a minute she gets up. "Where are you going?" He asks. She pulls his arm up. "Stand up." "Why?" He asks. "Because I'm hungry and I want a big, ball park weenie. "She gets down on her knees and sucks on him until he's thrusting hard into her mouth. She keeps sucking until he's squirting liquid all over and pulls out. He collapses on the couch and they both fall asleep naked next to each other.
The next morning, Cooper wakes up and feels sick both physically from the alcohol and mentally from what he did with her while drunk.
"Are you okay?" She asks. "You were pretty drunk last night."
"I've got to get out of here." He quickly pulls his clothes on. "I shouldn't have done that with you. I have a wife now."
"She walked out on you."
"She'll never forgive me for this."
"We didn't even have sex."
"It's oral sex, Jen. It's still cheating."
"It's not the same. We didn't co-join and mix body fluids."
"What do you call what we did then?" Cooper pulls on his socks.
"We gave each other a good time. Did it feel good?" She asks.
"Of course it felt good."
"Then, we did a good thing. I can't get pregnant. Your wife doesn't have to know, besides she's not living with you anymore."
"I was hoping to convince her to move back in but now-"
"Stop being such a nervous Nellie. We didn't have sex. We just had some fun with our tongues. "Now go home and shower. You look like crap." Cooper walks out the door.
